The report said a man held a toilet cleaning brush like a microphone while team captain Emre Belezoglu spoke to Turkish journalists.

Turkey moved to the top of their Euro 2020 qualifying group by beating World Cup champions France 2-0 at home on Saturday.
ISTANBUL (Reuters) - World champion France was given a cold shower on Saturday in a Euro 2020 qualifier against Turkey, which reserved up pressure throughout the game for a 2-0 home win and placed itself in the lead in Group H.
Turkey ongoing the game strong, scoring their first goal in the 30th minute with a header from Kaan Ayhan ensuing Cengiz Under's free kick into the penalty area.
Under then raised the difference in the 40th minute, slipping the ball past Hugo Lloris after a sprint down the right wing to the French goal.

Les Bleus upped the burden in the second half of the match, but missed several probabilities to score due to strong defense from their opponents and a solid performance from goalkeeper Mert Gunok.
Burak Yilmaz missed the chance to put Turkey further ahead at the 85th minute, sending the ball narrowly passed the right post after a one-on-one with Lloris.

Kylian Mbappe led France's rout of Iceland in Euro 2020 qualifiers on Monday, but Cristiano Ronaldo limped off with hamstring injury in Portugal's disappointing draw with Serbia. Mbappe scored one and set up two more as the reigning world champions crushed Iceland 4-0 at the Stade de France to move top of Group H in Euro 2020 qualifying.
The result gives France, 4-1 winners over Moldova in their Euro opener, six points from their first two matches and puts them ahead of Turkey, who also won 4-0 on Monday, on goal difference.
Samuel Umititi, Olivier Giroud, Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann all scored as Iceland struggled to cope with a totally dominant France side.
In Group A, England, fresh from a 5-0 demolition of the Czech Republic in which Raheem Sterling hit a hat-trick, were forced to come from behind in a 5-1 win over Montenegro. Marko Vesovic stunned England early on, but after drawing on their two previous visits to Podgorica, England showed why their current crop are among the favourites to be European champions next year.
Michael Keane's header restored parity before Ross Barkley's double either side of half-time put the visitors in command and Harry Kane and Sterling rounded off a comprehensive victory.
Tumblr media
It was a different story in Lisbon as Fernando Santos' reigning European champions Portugal, held to a 0-0 draw at home by Ukraine in their Group B opener, notched up a second draw, 1-1 at home to Serbia.
If the result wasn't disappointing enough, captain Ronaldo hobbled off after 30 minutes with no word on whether the five-time Ballon d'Or winner would be fit for to play for his club Juventus in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final at Ajax on 10 April.
Tumblr media
Serbia's Ajax playmaker Dusan Tadic opened the scoring from the penalty spot.
Ronaldo was denied an equaliser two minutes later as his effort was very well saved Marko Dmitrovic.
The 156-time international then left the field after he pulled up chasing a ball on the left wing.
He received quick treatment from members of the medical team before returning to action but was replaced minutes later.
In his absence, Porto's Danilo Pereira netted a 42nd-minute equaliser, hammering a shot from outside the box into the top corner past a helpless Dmitrovic.
Elsewhere, Turkey made it two wins from two in Group H, like France, with a 4-0 victory at home over Moldova.
Two first-half goals in the space of three minutes thanks to Hasan Ali Kaldırım and Cenk Tosun did the damage at Eskisehir.
Tosun bagged his second 10 minutes into the second half while Kaan Ayhan wrapped up a resounding win with Turkey's fourth.
Kosovo marked their maiden Euro qualifier with a 1-1 Group A draw against Bulgaria, but there was heartbreak for Luxembourg - 2-0 winners over Lithuania on Friday - as a Gerson Rodrigues own goal six minutes into injury time handed Group B leaders Ukraine a 2-1 win.

FEATURE: Fortuna's defender Kasim Adams between heaven and hell
Kasim Adams came from Hoffenheim to Fortuna, should compensate for the departure of Polish international Marcin Kaminski. So far, the Ghanaian in Fortuna dress quite strong performances. But in between he lets the fans with avoidable mistakes catch his breath. The prime example of this was the game on Schalke. For long stretches, the 24-year-old showed great strength against the squires. On the offensive top, sometimes defensive in the defenseOn the offensive his header led to a corner to the hand penalty. But on the defensive many fans chalked him all three goals. At the first goal Adams was lured out of the penalty area by Daniel Caligiuri, then was played by a double pass from Caligiuri with Raman. The German-Italian then scored the 1: 0.The truth is that the entire defense was disordered at the moment and there was no protection for the advancing Adams. The second goal is just the "headball monster" Adams skipped by Schalkes Özan Kabak, does not really get into the air duel. But in this scene, too, there are two points of view. Kabak starts at a fast pace. Kaan Ayhan could have disturbed this walk. Adams then had no chance against... source: https://footballghana.com/

International break talking points: Who can reach Euro 2020? Will Ronaldo join the 100 club? – Euro 2020 – Football
Six nations can qualify for Euro 2020 with time and matches to spare in October. We look at who needs what, and other talking points during the international break…
Video – ‘Not yet!’ – Ronaldo jokes about Messi dinner
01:49
Europe’s all-time international goalscorers
Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) – 93 goals
Ferenc Puskás (Hungary & Spain) – 84
Sándor Kocsis (Hungary) – 75
Miroslav Klose (Germany) – 71
Gerd Müller (West Germany) – 68
Portugal host Luxembourg on October 11 before heading to Ukraine three days later. It’s a tough ask, but it seems likely the five-time Ballon d’Or winner will at least reach the feat before Euro 2020 rolls around next summer.
Only Iran’s Ali Daei (109) has a century of international goals to his name – it won’t be long before he’s joined by Ronaldo.

Pick of the matches
Netherlands vs Northern Ireland – October 10
The Netherlands are playing catch-up in Group C and will need to beat Northern Ireland to pull level with them on 12 points. Germany also have 12 points, and could pull further ahead this week, meaning the battle between the Dutch and Northern Irish is likely to have a huge bearing on who comes second and secures that qualification spot.
Denmark vs Switzerland – October 12
The Republic of Ireland lead the way in Group D, and while they head to Georgia, second and third will battle it out in Denmark. A draw would suit the Irish, but in truth they look set to benefit from any result so long as they pick up maximum points on the road.

France vs Turkey – October 14
After a tricky test in Iceland, France host Turkey in what is a mighty tight Group H.
As it stands, Turkey and France are locked on 15 points with Iceland three points adrift. With four matches left each, the next two matchdays are set to have a huge bearing on which nations will finish in the top two.
Ukraine vs Portugal – October 14

Football news – Kosovo will be toughest test yet, says England boss Southgate
Euro 2016 winners Portugal are five points behind Group B leaders Ukraine, but only a point above Serbia. With a game in hand, Cristiano Ronaldo and co are well placed to reach Euro 2020, but they can ill-afford a slip-up in Ukraine as Serbia take on Lithuania.

Bundesliga: Zieler saves a point for harmless VfB
Tumblr media
VfB Stuttgart only played 0:0 against Fortuna Düsseldorf on Friday evening at the start of the 4th matchday. The Swabians could thank their goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler at the end.
At VfB, Korkut only made one change, Akolo joined the team for Aogo. The Fortuna scored 4-3-3 without Karaman, who was injured in the final training. Hennings surprisingly only on the bench.
For the spectators it was a tough game in the first half without the really big highlights. Both teams came through the fight and showed a lot of commitment, but were seldom able to pose problems to their opponents’ defensives in a playful manner. Düsseldorf with the overall clearer actions, the Funkel-Elf did not hide. On the other side, Gomez had two good chances after a Rensing mistake and a Gonzalez cross, but failed to bring the ball to the goal.
In the second half suddenly a completely different game: The VfB in 4-4-2 more variable, with more possession and move forward, the Fortuna at standards strong and with good counter chances, but weakly played. Zieler held the draw several times, in return Gonzalez lost by head.
For the final phase both coaches changed offensively, but the VfB couldn’t think of a recipe. On the other side Zieler was allowed to distinguish himself a few more times. In the end, the Fortuna must be annoyed, she had the clearly better opportunities.
Saves his team from falling behind with several brilliant parades. Great reaction against Ayhan, then scratched Sobottkas header out of the corner. Also held up well against Ducksch, shortly before the end brilliant against Morales and Ayhan. A total of seven parades.
It wasn’t the night of the offensive man. Won only not even every third duel, his pass rate was just 48 percent. Also weak in the final, must make much more of his completely free header chances.

Turkey 1-2 Russia: Artem Dzyuba scores winner in Nations League
Artem Dzyuba continued his fine international form as he scored the winner for Russia in their Nations League opener against Turkey.
The World Cup quarter-finalists took the lead in their Group B2 match through Denis Cheryshev, scorer of four goals in the summer.
Russia were pegged back by Serdar Aziz’s strike.
But Dzyuba, who scored three World Cup goals, was the hero again with a low drive to earn all three points.
Sweden, the other side in the group, host Turkey on Monday.
