I got into writing fanfiction by discovering fanfiction. I think there was maybe a five minute gap between me discovering it existed and opening a document to start writing.

Though, technically, I've been writing fanfiction since I was like six. My dad came of with a very lore heavy world for my stuffed animals when I was growing up. There were about a dozen animals (mostly bears and bunnies) that had fully fleshed out personalities and jobs and histories. Some of them weren't exactly PG, aka, the one teddy bear that was roughly Barbie sized who was polyamorous and dating roughly five of my Barbie dolls at any one time and had three kids from a previous marriage (This world also had canon that all the Kens were secretly gay and in the closet and lusting after the G.I. Joes who in turn were constantly trying to get the Barbies away from the bear so they could date them.)

But, anyway, I used to write short, mostly misspelled, stories about them.

I love @phantomofthehoepera's the unexpected resurrection of amanda fisher. I think it's one of the best Ash vs Evil Dead fics out there.

I love pretty much all of @LunarPunisher's Burn Notice fics.

Babblecat3000 writes the most amazing humor fics.

@popcornfairy28 has the best Stacy & Perry fanfics.

Jovirose's The Distant Shores Series is, imo, the best Titanic fanfiction out there.

@PrettyFlyShyGuy has a infected Leon AU that is just *chef's kiss*

I could just keep going. I'm serious. There are so many great and wonderful fanfics and authors out there, I could just on indefinitely.

Headcanon: You know, I probably have a hundred ship headcanons across different pairings, but after typing out that whole thing about Amanda and Ash, I can't think of any actual headcanons. I've thought of like five different Sam/Michael ones before realizing that, no, those are basically just canon. 😂 Can I get back to you?
