You know I've worked at coffee store for going in 4 years now and my current store (my 4th one) is the only store I've ever worked at where I felt the need to ignore a good chunk of our regular clientele because they always try to come on to me. They are all older conservative men who tell me to smile, ask if I'm married, ask if I live alone, call me pet names and shit. I'm really at the end of my rope with it and I hope that me being cold to them will get them to take the fucking hint. You lost customer service voice privileges, sorry

#at my first store i literally acquired a 70 year old sugar daddy (unwillingly) and it wasn't this bad #he didn't speak a lot of English instead he'd just show up with groceries and large tips for me #i did try to discourage him but he'd just go 'NO 😠' and give me the money anyway #it only stopped when he tried to kiss my hand and my manager told him to please stop bringing me things #and you know what to his credit he agreed with no argument and left #that's more than i would expect of these assholes #and they're not even bringing me money so 🙄
