what I like about him is that you can basically make him act like anything you want because you don't actually know how he does act in canon, he does seem like he has humility and he's nice and he's humble, he doesn't feel like he's better than anybody else ! but we aren't completely sure

I really want to know what his job is, but it's really fun to assume what he could have done and went to school for and all that yk! I personally believe he's either a teacher at the school or a stay-at-home dad !

I don't know how to express she is my favorite character ever apart from that because of her, I made the term Lieutenant Syndrome to categorize characters that are Lieutenantbrained like her and now all my friends know me as the CEO of Lieutenant Syndrome characters they come to me to impart them the light of the Riza.

SDFGH AGAIN I WANT HER TO BE FRIENDS WITH EVERYONE!! I think being friends with Ed and Al and Winry is priority because I think she has that more casual relationship to all of them and they should be her besties. I also think most people who I ship her with can be her friends DFGHJ I also overall like Team Mustang friendship and I like them showing off how much they love and appreciate her!!

I also have this thought that I really want her and Scar to interact more. I don't know if they could even be fully "Friends" (Specially from his side, he has he right to never like her lol) but I do find interesting how Arakawa has paired them together for 4-koma jokes and I found the scene where she is very nervous just to tell him "Thank you for helping me save Mustang" to be very compelling, I think there is an interesting relationship and discussions to be had with them mmm.

Help Idunno about any that hasn't been said before + I am in the Rizapilled club so I know people who see her like I do LOL I think my real hot take is that Riza has more going on than Roy/her storyline is inherently more interesting and at the very least people should acknowledge that if Roy went through something traumatic, Riza also went through it ASDFGHJ But also ultimately both their characters and plotlines are inherently tied to each other and trying to separate them without considering the relationship makes me go :/

Again I just wish Riza and Scar had more conversations with each other just because it would have addressed a lot of interesting points. Hello...Have you watched Haikyuu movies? It's great....And we got lots of Kuroken moments and "that"one Kagehina moment.... So, as Kagehina shipper, have you ever ship Hinata or Kageyama with other character? For me, I have read Kageyama with Oikawa fic (I enjoy it but not really into that ship, all the time thinking of Iwaoi) and Hinata with Atsumu fic (one of my friend love that ship, wrote a fic and asked me to read them). And as much as they're all good, my otp will always be Kagehina. Like they were made for each other and it has to be them...

hello, anon!! sorry i am late for this, hope you understand. life has been crazy, haha. anyway, let us go: i did watch the haikyuu films and recently in was at the cinema with a friend watching the dumpster battle, let me tell you i was OVERJOYED!!! heavens, i could not control my anxiety. though my friend also likes the anime, she isnt as obsessed as me and didnt even finish the last season when we talked about watching the brand new release, so i had the OUTSTANDING experience of rewatching it with her so we could buy the tickets after!! i lost count of how many times i watched it and how many times i made other friends try it out (at some point, i recommended it to even one of my students during a totally unrelated discourse, hahahaha, hope he shares his opinions once this winter break finishes).

since i watched haikyuu about... five years ago? i must have rewatched some seasons more than ten times. its my comfort show! love every film also. about the ships, kagehina is my endgame, but i definitely love kuroken, iwaoi, bokuaka and sakuatsu (though i consume kagehina content much more). of course every ship is valid, i cannot judge anyone, however, i personally cant see hinata or kageyama with anyone else and do not read stories too focused on other relationships :) i can comprehend why fans see something with oikawa and kageyama, or even oikawa and hinata (considering their interaction in rio), but i do not settle with it in my heart. its just profiles and options, anyway! dont mind, dont mind.

i agree with you. for me, they are soulmates through and through. perfect for each other. one is the promise, the other is the anchor. they might be one of the couples i have seen anywhere that matches each other's vibe the best.

about mxtxt works, my favorite side ships are moshang and beefleaf. i can see the appeals in each one you mentioned, but i just never quite got interested to the point of reading about it, sorry!! some of them maybe its because they did not have a finale extra shot, or at least they were not as spoken/seen together as they were individually. for fengqing, though i like them as a side couple in hualian fanfics, i never quite got engaged in their story together, many times they just annoyed me (god, im scared of saying that and people coming at me, but there you go). but i know they have their values and some interactions i could almost forget my light, petty resentment for their actions and laugh along. beefleaf though? mobei-jun and his creator shang qinghua? heavens, i wanted to see more of them.

Having more fandom friends around my age/mindset (context: late 30s, rare fandoms, reads some nsfw but not the type to post about it a lot in my main account) might be nice. I ignored the fandom part of myself a long time due to my RL friends being shitty about it (I dumped the worst of them) and I'm trying to enjoy it more.

But I keep leaving comments on fic and art and don't get any reply, let alone a conversation or follow. When I do get a response, the person stops posting fic in that fandom shortly afterwards. In an earlier more active fandom, I would send requests to people (clearly open for requests!) and 99% of the time I'd be ignored, or they'd draw the request at a level clearly before their usual stuff then delete it because they didn't like it (their words).

I'm not writing anything inappropriate or critical? I try to make my comments more interesting than 'i love this write more thx', maybe they get too confusing and off-putting to read? It certainly isn't because my ship is too weird because even non-shippers ship my current OTP lmao

I am trying to be realistic about it, maybe they aren't replying because they don't have the energy, or they have a life and they can't reply to the comment immediately and forget to, or they moved on, or they think I'm a tit which is totally fine?

The issue is it keeps happening, it's depressing, and the follows I do get are people in the same fandom who only like the parts I'm not invested in at all, have really tired takes and are significantly younger to the point I'm concerned about looking like a creep if I interact with them at 100% of my full power. It feels very much like I'm wishing on a monkey paw.

I have a very small number of friends I can talk to about fandom stuff I will cling onto with both hands. I just wish there were more. This is mainly me venting but if anyone has any suggestions feel free.

Hmm... Well, I share your suspicion that if you're the common factor, you're at least somewhat contributing to this situation. It may not be that you're offputting but that you inherently like things most other fans don't like—not just rare ships but also rarer tropes.

Or it may not be rarity exactly but prompt style: while tons of people love found family and slice of life, a lot of prompts for those are so generic and boring that they inspire exactly zero new plotbunnies. Meanwhile filthy kink is not for everyone but often has the seeds of a specific fic in a prompt, so if you do like it, those prompts are super inspiring.

A lot of people are pretty terrible at responding to comments. I'm extremely hit or miss on AO3 myself. I'll respond to a zillion things on tumblr before I remember to actually answer comments on AO3. Partly, it's that I get said comments in my email inbox, not on AO3 itself, so I read them and appreciate them but am not in the space where I'd respond right at that moment.

Sadly, people making one fanwork and moving on just comes with the territory when you're in rare fandoms. It's much easier to make friends who like to vid Asian dramas or who are learning a language for fandomy reasons or who are doing fandom historical preservation than friends who share your exact current taste in blorbos and who will continue to do so.

In my case, I love rare things, but I also love to move from fandom to fandom rapidly, and I find it really stressful to have friends who end up resenting that.

I tend to befriend fans whose overall vibe I find compatible more than people I share ships with: people who will probably be in fandom for life, people who are loud and proud about it, people who are interested in fandom history and pan-fandom meta. I also tend to be drawn to accounts that are not only horny on main but horny for kinky shit that draws haters. It does a wonderful job of weeding out the whiny children and finding me fans with a spine. Hilariously, one of my closest offline fandom friends with whom I share the most character opinions doesn't even like sex scenes. But that's not somebody I'd have gotten to know online.

It's going to vary for the people you're approaching, but that may be one reason they're not as enticed by the sight of another fan of their current rare fandom: they may have totally different types of criteria for fandom friends.

It's hard to know how much of the problem is you without examining your internet presence more, but I get why going "here's my account, plz critique" is not attractive. This ask seems fine. No particular writing style red flags jump out at me.

I've definitely known people who were dicks about my tumblr popularity and wanted to know why I didn't reblog them... but it turns out they interacted with me only once every six months so I don't remember them or their tumblr is entirely shitposts or their writing style is incoherent or they sound angry all the time.

One problem you may be running into is that findable fans in their 30s and 40s are self-selected for Fandom For Life types who already have a bunch of close fandom friends. They're likely doing a lot of socializing in private with people they've known for ages. I like to think of it as people with very full dance cards. They tend to be the most attractive because they're living happy, fulfilling lives, but that same quality makes them too busy. Meanwhile, people who are sad and alone and desperate for friends are often less visible and less compelling. If someone figured out how to connect with them, they'd be a great friend, but fewer people are trying.

It's not that every compatible late 30s fan is too busy for new friends. It's that the fans who are visible enough that you know they exist and know their approximate age are a very specific slice of overall fandom.

As fans age, some of their fandom friends leave fandom or die, so there can be periods where people are going "Shit, I need new friends!" later on, not just in college and such. But I'd say late 30s is a tough-ish period. A lot of people are busy with young kids and/or haven't lost their inner circles from younger years yet.

In general, a lot of my closer fandom friends aren't actually looking for new friends and haven't been in quite a while. Some don't even post publicly anymore. I'm something of an exception because I'm both extremely friendly and always on the lookout for minions to convince to go to Escapade con or take up the banner of fandom preservation yadda yadda. I have a vested interest in remaining open to new people.

How I feel about this character Where do I start? He means so much to me! He makes my heart dance! It feels like it's been a long time since I've been so obesessed with a character and in a way he's made me feel alive again. Thanks to him (well, Ex-Aid as a whole) I've felt more creative and I feel very grateful to him (and by extension his actor). I'm just so glad he exists and I wish I'd known about him sooner. Thinking about/seeing him makes me automatically feel a lot happier. I just love him soso much. And when I say I love him I mean, I'd kiss him. I think about those forehead freckles of his and how I want to push his hair back and kiss them frequently. I think about him in ways that is rare for me to think about. He's so cute, but he also has those intense moments when he was still a villain. I did so enjoy how he could be smiling one moment, then his expression just... Drops. But I love it when he smiles the most. He has an adorable smile. I also have a little bit of gender envy towards him?

All the people I ship romantically with this character Emu - Their hearts are connected and are basically soulmates. I can't not ship them, they're pretty much one of my favourite types of ship dynamic. Sento - This might be my own bias because I really like Sento. I think about the Build and Ex-Aid crossover movie a lot and the two of them interacting.

I think he could have grown fond of Sento if given more time and I wish they'd had some interaction before they had to part ways. In my mind their relationship might be similar to Sento and Banjou's. (Although Parad does have brains as well as brawn so of course there'd be differences). Sento would tease Parad, but they'd have their sweet moments. Parad might also feel a bit competitive with Sento at times, maybe challenge him to puzzle games? Graphite - The two of them have a special bond and were together a long time. Part of me leans more towards them being closer to fuck buddies than partners since Parad's obsessed with Emu and Graphite may have complex feelings for Hiiro, at least in my mind he does. So they end up together because they can't be with the people they really want to be with. (Although Graphite is of course in denial about finding Hiiro attractive). Kiriya - I ship this more as a polyship with Emu. It's clear that Kiriya is very special to Emu and Emu's feelings are Parad's feelings too. So whos to say Parad can't have a lil crush on Kiriya too? He understands Kiriya is very special to Emu and it feels like he'd be the one person Parad wouldn't get jealous of Emu being with. Plus Kiriya is a chill guy and if anyone is going to accept that Parad comes as a package deal with Emu, it's him. Banjou - This one is again shipped more as part of a polyship, this time with Emu and Sento (aka Mighty Match). Parad is definitely getting him into fighting games. I also like to think they might spar for fun and they can get rough with each other. I don't mind him with Kuroto, I've read some fics of the two of them, but I wouldn't call any relationship I ship involving Kuroto 'romantic'. I think of, if anything happened between them, it was more an early/pre-series thing. Parad and Poppy could be cute, I think I'd lean towards it more as a poly with Emu. But I prefer them more platonically.

My non-romantic OTP for this character Poppy - Parad, Poppy and Graphite are the Bugster besties trio. I like thinking of Poppy as the one Parad would go to for advice as she's the only other Bugster living among humans. (Who wasn't born human anyway). Nico - They are gaming rivals and have the potential to become good friends too. Outside of gaming I can see them challenging each other to dumb things or pulling pranks since they can be a bit childish. (Even if they both did mature a bit at the end of Ex-Aid, there is nothing to say they can't have their childish moments still and they probably bring it out of each other).

My unpopular opinion about this character Not sure if it's an unpopular opinion but I really like his outfit! It combines a lot of things I like giving OCs, especially ones based on myself. So I guess you could say he wears a combination of things I'd like to wear in an outfit? Ahahaha. Although I wouldn't combine them all myself, I feel like it somehow works.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. More interaction between him and Nico being friends/gaming rivals. Even if it was just some scene of the other characters talking in CR while Parad and Nico are huddled together fighting each other on a console game. (Then they probably are accused of not paying attention to what was being discussed, but actually they were lol) Also more interaction between him and Kiriya would have been nice since they are the two most important people to Emu. Really just, more Parad being there as part of the team after joining up with Emu. I'd also just love it if he reappeared in a special or crossover or something. Well, not just him as an Ex-Aid cast reunion would be nice. Ahahaha. But I feel like it would be unlikely since they'd probably need a reason for him to appear and his actor is probably a bit busy being on stage. He seems quite popular in the musical world of Japan so it might be also expensive to have him come back? Idk, I can hope.

003 - give me a character - Gault how i feel about this character: intrigued. i haven't encountered a lot of thoughts on her that resonate with my reading, personally, but that's with the acknowledgment that we're working with Ann Ogbomo's excellent performance and no comix lore. i LIKE Gault so much more than Brute and Glob in the comix: she has more fleshed out motivations beyond "wanted to make a mini dreaming," and she's more sympathetic as someone who shields Jed from the Dreaming than as the driving force behind Lyta's dream family. i think of Gault as the moon tarot card in the Major Arcana, which is about intuition but also illusion/deception and anxiety. what does that look like when it's "flipped," as it were, from Nightmare to Dream? what made her want to "inspire, rather than frighten"? (also what made her decide that the inspiration she was giving as a Nightmare wasn't enough, or fulfilling? was it Jed?) i think a lot about her and the Corinthian being coworkers/colleagues and maybe friends. did he show her how to slip out of the Dreaming? how do the Arcana interact with each other and does that transcend their designation as dreams and nightmares, or does it follow that split? her vindictiveness and pointed critique of Morpheus are...yum. my tag for her is "trans anarcho butterfly girl of the Dreaming" because she wanted to trans her function, and i like her defiance as this...spitting in the face of god. there's parallels between her and the Corinthian! (also curious about them both being so good with kids...is it that they're adult nightmares, so kids are off-limits? is it that kids are inherently more familiar with fear and don't repress it in the same ways as adults? is it that kids are more open to the weird and uncanny?)

(Gault wasn't out there doing serial murders in the Waking, for one.) honestly i should write that one, i'm just also wading through half a dozen other WIPs.

Well, pretty much everything, excepting things like non-con, incest, underage stuff and anything that goes along these lines. Other than that, fluff, angst, smut, cute things, the ugly aspects of a relationship, bring them on the table. I am always keep on exploring these themes and the impact that they have on the characters, how it makes them feel, how it helps them evolved ( if at all ), how they handle it. Just gib it to me.

Considering my muse is an adult, anything that is underage. So if your muse is a minor than it would make me feel very uncomfortable and it's a big no-no from me.

For me, it works so much better if there is some sort of interaction out of character and I know I can come pester you with ideas / memes / stuff. I like to think I'm pretty reasonable when it comes to how other people interact with my favorite characters. If they don't like them for whatever reason, that's fine, everyone has different tastes. If they have a different interpretation of the character, that's also fine. If it really bothers me, I'll go bitch to a sympathetic friend in private, and then move on with my life. If they put that character into Situations that aren't to my tastes, that's - again - also fine! It's not like they can hurt them, they're not real. If it bothers me to an intolerable degree, the back button exists for a reason! And again, going to bitch in private cures a lot!

Leo is - in more ways than one - an outlier in regards to the characters I usually fall in love with. I still haven't broken my streak of not bothering innocent people who are just enjoying interpreting a fictional character in ways that are fun or compelling for them (nor do I ever intend to), but a little bit ago I saw someone say "I don't like Rise!Leo >:(" and I gave an involuntary little gasp of pure offense. And then blocked them.

Not the pettiest reason I've blocked someone (I'll block people just because they harmlessly post in a tag about something I don't care about too often, it's never personal), but it was definitely the most... emotionally charged reason I've blocked someone in a while. The individual this person dislikes is fictional, but the offense I felt on his behalf was very very real. XD

Krang One (after Leo's an adult - I'm too tired to have to deal with people lobbing bad-faith attempts to police me in my inbox, thank you). I'm a proud slut for Enemies to Lovers (and then to sweeten the pot they basically end up as each other's archenemy by the end of the movie), and the compare/contrast ratio for how they're similar to how they're different from each other is just [MWAH] fuckin perfect. There's an immaculate dynamic here just waiting, you just have to dig a little.

My unpopular opinion about this character:

So I know that this is going to come across as very biased considering my answer to the first question, but nonetheless: This turtle deserves a fucking break. And I don't mean in terms of all the trauma he gets put through (trauma is basically how fans show love, no one knows this better than I, by all means continue); I mean that the fandom is just really mean to him. He gets dunked on constantly.

If a post centers around Leo and doesn't involve something angsty, there's a 90% chance it involves Leo being used as the butt of a joke. And it's extremely common within that 90% for the post to involve him making an ultimately harmless joke himself (or in some cases, just acting like a bit of an airhead), and for one or more of his brothers to physically assault him for it in some way. And having them react this way is played entirely for comedy.

(In retrospect, I'm starting to wonder if this is the reason why I'm so protective of Leo.)

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

More of what I wish hadn't happened: I wish they hadn't dropped the line at the end of season 2 about Leo being the leader now. I know it was because Nickelodeon was insisting that Rise uphold the status quo and have Leo become leader at some point (or at least that's my understanding of the situation), but I hate what that single line does to Splinter's character. And later Raph's. And what it turns the whole situation of the movie into. It's too long a rant for this post, but the short of it is that it turns Leo being a little dilweed (which was the intent) into the poor guy trying to cope the best he can (which is Depressing).

I wish they kinda lean back to the seriousness of Rayman 2 juuust a little, with a bit of the comedy of Rayman 3. He’s a silly guy but it’s clear his friends are his support.

favourite canon pairing: I would say miego but their canonness is a little nebulous. Like they were definitely *something* but it's unclear whether they were ever officially a couple--or just had feelings on both sides. So I am going to say Dessie/Ron.

worst pairing ever: what if I said narumitsu, what then? Honest answer is probably franmaya. Is it objectively a bad ship, not at all. I just don't "get it." Like I "get" narumayo, narumitsu, klapollo, etc even if I don't find them particularly interesting. But franmaya...it's just...they barely interact in canon and when they do, it isn't really particularly meaningful imo. Just slightly antagonistic but not in a fun, foe yay way like with klema or langworth. It feels like they just got paired because they are two female characters that are around the same age--and because fandom decided narumayo and fradrian were "too problematic." And even if we are sticking to the narrow criteria of female characters between 16-18 in the Trilogy timeline, both of them seem like they would "work" much better with Kay or Ema than with each other. Also I do feel like some of the potentially interesting aspects of the franmaya ship tend to get watered down by the fandom in favor of making them soft generic uwu girlfriends--which seems particularly ooc for Ziska at least.

a pairing you want to see more: every ship that isn't narumitsu, klapollo, and franmaya lol. Honestly, there are so many really interesting pairings in this fandom that just get slept on, so I am going to try to limit myself to particularly rare "rare pairs" that I feel could and should have so much more content than they do. Lana/Godot (specifically in the post-canon, hurt/comfort way), Apollo/Nahyuta, Franziska/Aura, Lang/Franziska, Apollo/Edgeworth, Edgeworth/Blackquill, Lana/Blackquill, Klavier/Larry, Edgeworth/Justine.

that pairing everyone likes but you’re like “lol no”: narumitsu. I can only ever tolerate if it's a poly ship with Kristoph, Lang, or Larry--and even then, I prefer the other iterations of the triad. Ironically I think I could really like narumitsu if and only if it wasn't the fandom juggernaut pairing--as a lot of the things I like about krisnix, cykesquill and/or nahyupollo are the same things that other people like about narumitsu. But 90 times out of 100, my brain sees the popular ship and is just like "ha ha, nope" and finds a rare pair to be insane about instead.

favorite non-romantic pair: Kay & Edgeworth & Gumshoe (though it's okay if it's kay + romantic gumworth). Their dynamic just resonates with me in a way that none of the other play character + assistant(s) do nearly as strong. I was largely indifferent to Miles before I was exposed to Investigations. I liked him well enough, but I never really understood why the fandom was so fixated on him. But Kay and Gumshoe--and especially both of them together-- are such wonderful foils to him, as their differences and similarities allow us to get to see the "real" Edgeworth--as opposed to the idealized version of him that Phoenix has or the "Demon Prosecutor" that his reputation conveys.

What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)?

@brooklynislandgirl While I have gone on to the point of endless circles about how Jayden loves Beth. It is more than a love of being friends. There is such a deep connection, may be not soul-mate status, but close enough that if it were true, then I would have no reason to argue against it. They are a close as they can get as friends, as family, and more. Beth and Jay were created, on paper with pens and pencils, sticky notes and yarn to connect the dots. Looking a lot like a conspiracy board to outsiders. But Turtle and I spent a solid six months, if not more, working out details of the girls' lives and how they fit together with each other. Across different verse and timelines. How they know that the other will be there when all hope is lost and there is nothing left but each other.

All of my ships are near and dear to me. To know that there are those out there that are putting in the time and effort like I am to make the Ship, no matter what shape it takes, to work. I can't give specifics as to why one is greater than another when the reality is that I see them all as stars in my night sky of written words.

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

It would be easier to state what I will not write when it comes to shipping. Meaning I will NOT write things like Non-Con, Age Play, Daddy/Mommy Kinks and closely related themes to the listed ones. I refuse for many reasons that do not need explanation further than I'm just not going to do it.

The Following are Available if the Muns are friends for at least Six Months and are consenting to: Dub-Con could only come up as a suggested plot if I have written with you over a regular basis and that we talk near constant OOC. Toxic and Negative Ships can be brought up provided that we the Muns have a healthy understanding and plot it out over several weeks.

Sex and BDSM topics can be talked about after two months of OOC of conversation. Or if we the Muns feel comfortable enough with each other to talk about such things. But that is a preference of mine.

For me to be able to write out certain things, I need to know where my partner is at. Age gaps do not really bother me so long as again, We Communicate. I do prefer the Muse in question to be over 21 as I am not going to even pretend to enter the Underage thing. It honestly creeps me out now that I am older in real life. I get a few years, but after they are approaching being about five years younger than Jay is where I draw a hard line.

Are you selective when shipping?

I have to say that I am to a certain point. I like the semi-realism of watching Muses meet, grow and interact. Seeing that relationship develop and blossom gives the Ship a certain fondness for me. Something I can look back on and go "Yeah, that was the moment it became something real." I have stated that I am a slow-burn kind of girl, but that doesn't mean we can't plot the past and jump into an established friendship.

I am open to figuring out pre-established romantic relationships, so long as it is not fresh following each other. I need to know you a bit more than a name and a "hey baby, how you doin'" if that's okay.

I will be honest, unless I have known the Mun for a spell and it is something that we have plotted for, Jayden is not going to just drop her panties and say please within the first ten minutes. That is something that I don't feel right about as I think it betrays who she is as a person. Yes, she is an OC of canon characters from a show. But she is more than her parents. She belongs to no one, except maybe Beth and even then Jay does not always listen. She can make her own choices.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

Personally, I like to stick to T.V. standards. If it would be considered rate R, then of course I am going to tag it as such. But for me, I like to take it somewhere more private if the Scene goes to Third Base. Mostly because A) I do not have a lot of experience with writing for the public, and B) It takes days if not weeks to make sure that I am follow where my fellow Mun wants to take things.

Who are other muses you ship your muse with?

I have several ships that I will go down with. But I understand that life happens. To list them all would keep us here for several hours. And even then I would feel like it wouldn't do the Ships justice. Because I love them all in different ways.

For those standing Ships, it takes a weight off my soul to know that my mutual Muns have taken the time to chip away the near indestructible wall of Jayden's exterior personality to get to that soft gooey center. That they can see she has flaws and still choose to love her on purpose. No matter what that love is.

Does one have to ask to ship with you?,

Don't get me wrong, I would like a head's up that it is something you, the Mun asking, is interested in. If it happens by accident, that is awesome. I'll be fair and honest, unlike my Muse, I am in real life oblivious to people flirting and the associated actions. So if you are subtle about it, I won't see it. And my goal is to not intentionally hurt someone because I was "Madam Not Getting the Hint."

And if I am asked, then I have a better grasp of what direction we want these stories to go. And yes it will change how my Muse interacts with yours.

How often do you like to ship?

I am not looking to force anyone into anything. As it has been a very large Issue in the RPC. Only getting followed for sex and nothing else just isn't my cup of tea. Not to say that you can't do that, I'm just respectfully bowing out of that.

I want us to know each other, to be able to be friends before putting a label on what our Muses are. But I would like to hope that our Muses could have at least and "I tolerate you" and "I would save you from being on fire" kind of ship.

Are you multiship?

I am. Each ship is in their own bubble pocket universes and timelines. Think of them as Pants of Time. There are two choices, and each one taken changes that timeline differently.

That is not to say that I can't enjoy watching other relationships come into being. Even if there are multiple crossover verses with several Muns, UNLESS TALKED ABOUT BEFORE HAND, there is very little butting into someone else's relationships. There is no "Oh my God, Becky you're dating my man! How Dare?!" Honestly cheating plots are not something I am all that interested in? But that is just me.

Are you ship obsessed or ship more-or-less?

I mean, kind of More or Less. If one happens I am here for it. But even if one never comes up, that is okay too! Sometimes you just see Bob Joe at the park when you walk your dog and exchange a "Still breathing?" in passing.

I have had a standing Mutual that at first our Muses would just annoy the shit out of each other for like a year's worth of multiple threads. And we as Muns were fucking tickled pink by it. To this day I am not sure if He considers Jayden His friend or that woman the bane of His existence. I am looking at you my feathered friend.

I have so many that it is silly and that there is very little time to explain them and why I will die on their respective hills.

Byakuren or zanmu

I already answered a Byakuren ask, so Zanmu it is.

How I feel about this character: she's an instant favorite, pretty much like Keiki after WBaWC released. More hell politics? New frontier for Buddhism in Touhou, given her vague Zen theme? New frontier for Touhou period pieces - or even two if you go for the Kaison angle? I honestly like the simplicity of her design too, she looks nothing like the older oni (which makes sense, given that three of them belong to the same group and Urumi is her own thing) and, frankly, a new character who wears pants is pretty refreshing. Also, while "n-dimensional chess enthusiast master planner" is hardly a new archetype in the series, I feel like her backstory offers a new twist on this.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Hisami first and foremost. This is the ship that will finally bring me back to ao3, and it's probably going to enter my top 3 (definitely top 5). However, I do think Zanmu/Keiki has potential too. As long as Keiki's idea of courtship shows the same ingenuity as her attempts to sway Marisa in some of the WBaWC endings at least.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: I think there's potential for something really interesting in her interactions with Reimu, while due to her position in the setting I suspect she will inevitably get a plenty of other close bonds right now that's the non-romantic one which interests me the most. Also if that Ikkyu legend is legitimate - I still failed to locate a proper source other than a blogpost, tragically - I will personally perform whatever esoteric rites are needed to materialize an Ikkyu Touhou she could be bffs with. Jigoku Dayu would be ok too.

My unpopular opinion about this character: should've invited Hisami to both of the banquets, and not just to the funny animal spies one.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: there's actually a lot. Hard to limit myself to one. I want to see Buddhist doctrinal debates with her, Okina and Byakuren; I want to see how her dynamics with other ministry staff (Eiki, Kutaka, the higher up yamas if ZUN will ever decide to actually show them) and other hell (Hecatia) or hell-adjacent (Keiki, maybe Satori) characters would be like. Also I want her to reappear in a fighting game.

Ryoken Kogami:

How I feel about this character - He's not one of my all-time favs but I like him pretty well. I definitely think he's one of the prettiest YGO characters. There are some aspects of his personality I feel like they could have gone into more, but I feel that way about a lot of characters. Overall: he tried his best, against some pretty stiff odds, and I have to respect that about him.

All the people I ship romantically with this character - I basically ship him with Spectre. Maybe Souburner a teensy bit, but Spectre would be my go-to.

My non-romantic OTP for this character - Naturally it is fun to watch him interact with Yuusaku. They have a lot of stuff going on between them that I feel like did not get fully unpacked in the show, and it would be fun to dig deeper into that. Also in the future it would be fun to see him and Ai figuring out how to be friends, ro at least not be all "Kill on sight" with each other.

My unpopular opinion about this character - I don't even know what the unpopular opinions are, so you just get An Opinion. The more I think about it, the more I like him better as an antagonist than as one of the good guys. I can really think of ways he could have been made into a more persistent threat without losing his fundamental sympathy. Man, now this is making me want to rewrite Vrains again and I already have enough to do.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. - Can we explain what that mark on his hand is all about? I mean, I have my theory but nobody ever explained it. Also I would be down for more friendly/casual interactions between him and the rest of the cast, especially people who aren't part of his immediate team. Come to think of it, this show had so many crises going on non-stop that it feels like we hardly ever got to see anyone just hanging out being friends.

Aoi Zaizen:

How I feel about this character - Fairly neutral. She was there. Sometimes she did stuff. I'm not sure she was as well integrated into the plot as she could have been.

All the people I ship romantically with this character - I honestly have no ships for her. Maybe she can date Miyu? Or not; I don't have strong feelings about it.

My non-romantic OTP for this character - I like seeing her hang out with Ema. They are good sister-figures to each other.

My unpopular opinion about this character - Again, I don't know what the popular or unpopular opinions are, so I'll just state an opinion: why the blazes did she need so many costumes? What was the point of that? Nobody else got their outfits constantly redesigned, so what the heck?

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. - I kind of feel like the thing with her being just the friend of Aqua's original instead of her actually being the original was kind of a cop-out, especially when she and Aqua were so visually and thematically linked. I feel like a few tweaks would have made her (and by extension, her brother's) story a lot stronger.

-All Might: Enji's extreme(ly funny) obsession with All Might is what arguably made me ship it. Most of his decisions in adult life have been centred one way or another around All Might, and I can't get over that fact. While there's next to no setting that I wouldn't ship them in, my other favourite is a villain!AM AU. I have many feelings about this ship in general but you and everyone else who made the regrettable decision of following already knows that 💀

-Inko: My guilty pleasure ship, for comedy and drama. There's something enticing about a guy like Endeavor, who's otherwise got such a fat stick up his ass, having an extramarital affair with the MC's civilian mother, who's also married to someone else. The scandalousness of it is *chef's kiss*. It's also intertwined with the crack headcanon about Izuku being Endeavor's love child that I really like, as well.

-Rei: more interesting to me in fanon than in canon, simply because she's barely developed as a character in canon :/ Idk whoever came up with the idea of Rei being secretly obsessed with Enji, but what a concept

-Mirko: two very hot-blooded characters, and Mirko wouldn't have any of Enji's shit 👌

-Aizawa: Shoto would DIE. He's also unlikely to have any of Endeavor's shit.

I generally ship Enji with many and more characters than are listed here, though less romantically and more for reasons like "I like the idea of it in a certain scenario" (like Burnin) or "I simply respect the chemistry"... or for dark fics.

-In an OT3 with Toshi and Rei. Started off as a crack-ship, but I'm now actually, genuinely, honest to god, unironically shipping it. 💀 Hear me out... If this polycule had happened, AFO would simply not have stood a chance. Just the combined power of All Might and Endeavor, united, and with Rei as the mediator... They'd be unstoppable.

-My non-romantic OTP for this character:

Hawks. Enji has a rather... difficult personality, which makes me think he wouldn't have many friends in the first place. Hawks is not just willing to put up with him because he's his biggest fan but he also knows how to either calm his temper, and, just as easily, how to push his buttons. The friendship between them is rather underrated, imo.

All Might. In canon-divergence/AU settings, I can see them having an interesting dynamic when not genuinely hostile. Read: Enji being a tsundere grump and constantly protesting AM's sunshine personality while generally agreeing on work ethics and still hanging out with him.

Untenmaru, Endeavor's chauffeur. He looks like he takes none of his shit either and there's mutual respect between them.

(Basically any character that knows how to hold their own against Enji's gruff personality make for a great dynamic with him.)

-My unpopular opinion about this character:

His atonement arc feels kinda disingenuous. What I'm referring to specifically is that the cause that made him truly start thinking about what he's done to his family for the first time in his miserable life was most definitely only extrinsic and not due to any sudden gained wisdom on his part... Enji's an idiot. Would he have given his treatment of his family a second thought 1) had he somehow managed to surpass All Might on his own terms, or 2) had All Might not been forced to retire suddenly? I can't say I'm convinced that he would have, and that's what's bothering me about his big heel-face turn.

I actually like his pre-All Might's retirement persona at least as much as him post-S3. He was such an asshole but extremely amusing to watch, especially his interactions with AM. He's generally fun to put through a meat-grinder though lmao

-One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

Won't happen and also OOC, but he should stop keeping looking at Dabi like there's someone in there that he can still save, and start treating him like the danger that he is and put him out of commission... Permanently.

I'm convinced that if All Might and Endeavor had just had a better relationship with each other overall, much of what happened in the series could've been avoided entirely. But alas... both of them are kinda to blame for that, and things can never be that easy... right?
