Continuing my reading of the Assassin's Apprentice and I gotta say that Hobbs has a way of writing characters that just feel real and human. The slowness of the pacing lets the readers to actually get to know these people and I absolutely prefer it to be told this way.

This passage in assassin's apprentice is so funny to me. All I can think of is the Fool going "you think I try so desperately to keep you alive because I LIKE you?? 😑😑😑 It's just for the prophecy dumbass 🙄🙄🙄 it's not like I'm entranced with you or anything 😤😤😤" like gosh dude just admit you have a big fat crush on him already.
