The Colour Gang looked at each other and then at King and Purple who were in the middle of doing dishes and chatting with each other.

"I'd be lying if I said there wasn't still a little tension there - especially with King," Green admitted, rubbing his arm awkwardly.

"But he seems very sincere in his attempts to make amends," Yellow added, looking at Blue who nodded.

"He's actually a bit of a worrywart."

"Kinda like another orange stick we know and love," Red teased, elbowing Orange who huffed good naturedly.

"Sounds like there's either a herd of elephants stampeding through my basement or your friends are here," King remarked, putting one of several salads on the table along with a stack of plates.

"I'll go see," Purple raced down the trapdoor, "Nope, no elephants down here! Just a bunch of sticks!"

"Good to hear, supper's ready if they want to wash their hands and grab a plate."

Hey K & P! How do you guys feel about physical affection(hugs kisses snuggles hand holding etc)?

"...It's a little embarrassing but I think I actually kinda like it," Purple rubbed the back of his head, "At least with people I know well."

"I prefer to initiate; I don't like it when others hug me, but I'm actually very physically affectionate with the people I'm close to."

Purple tried to raise his voice above what the anon said, but he couldn't drown it out. He looked back at King, whose eyes were shiny, before King dropped his head to keep Purple from seeing his expression.

"I'm sorry, Baba, I just... making you feel bad about it wouldn't really have made anything any better. You already apologized, I already accepted the apology, it's just water under the bridge now."

King took a deep breath and let it out in a quavering sigh, "...You don't have to apologize. I would have done the same in your shoes."

"And hey, Anon, you don't get to talk about Baba like that! Maybe he was like that once, but that's not who he is now!"

"The what? You have scars on your chest?"

"Oh, what, yeah but it's fine they're from... stuff, y'know?" Purple has started rummaging through the cupboards, taking tally of what snacks they'll need for tomorrow.

Personally I think teenager King would be way more fun than baby King, I get the feeling you were a right terror back then

"I'm very much hoping to keep myself out of any shenanigans," King laughed, "We usually avoid the worst of it."

"I do sometimes when I'm watching movies and stuff. It's usually just popcorn and some chips. Maybe the occasional cookie or pastry."

"Oh, I'll go first!" Purple volunteered noticing that King had his thinking face on, "So... I think my favourite mob is actually... the Ender Dragon. I've... gone back to apologize and we're... cool now. Also the little baby remembered me! Though they aren't that little anymore."

"... I'm not sure, every time I think I've figured it out, I see something else... right now, I feel it's the Allay."

"Purple... fly?" King arched an eyebrow and looked at Purple who shrugged.

"I've been called weirder things. I'll take it."

"As for a favourite movie to watch together... Encanto maybe? Or Labyrinth."

"Oh, or Zootopia!"

"I guess we watch a lot of Disney in general."

“Fingers crossed, I’m sure Sky would like to avoid babysitting again,” Purple did indeed cross his fingers, “We’ll vote on a movie when everyone gets here. I’m betting good money that Red’s gonna suggest Zootopia again.”

“Oh, almost definitely.”

“Well, it’s back to just us again,” King looked around at the clean room, “I think this is cleaner now than it was when they arrived.”

“Oh, probably. I think Green and Orange got competitive about it at some point while they were helping.”

“Yeah, I visit the school at least once a week. It’s not so bad when you have a few friends on your side. I can’t really say Herobrine and I talk much outside of class.”

“Pretty sure he’s keeping an eye on me though. I just feel like I’m being watched sometimes.”

“Only for the past few months,” Yellow answered setting the table, “Every second weekend, give or take.”

“This is the first time we’ve slept over though,” Green chuckled, sitting down.
