Information About the Pyro Jack/Jack Frost Event

Much like last year's Halloween special event, I'm bringing two guest muses on to the blog only for the month of October. Jack Frost and Pyro Jack are available to ask questions, make threads, or provide their Jack Bro. shenanigans to other characters! Any and all characters from other fandoms are welcome to interact with them. This includes OCs as well! There is a bit of information to know before you interact with them:

Everyone can see Pyro Jack and Jack Frost. This does include characters who don’t possess a Persona or other magical abilities.

Normal humans, however, will see them as little kids dressed up in costumes. They are not able to recognize them as Personas or know about their powers.

Persona users and characters possessing other magical abilities/supernatural powers will be able to see what they truly are. They can recognize them as Personas, and they will know their power.

Only Wildcards have the power to catch/command the Jack Bros by defeating them in a battle or tricking them at their own game/pranks.

These Jack Bros have their own names for any of the Persona users. It's either calling them by their Arcana names, their code names, or in some cases the names of their Persona.

Feel free to ask the mun any questions or if you need any clarifications for the event! This is all made just to have a little spooky fun for Halloween month. So HAVE AT IT!! PLAY THE JACK BROS!! THEY DEFINITELY WANT TO PLAY WITH YOU HEHEHEHE!!

"Honestly? Yeah I have had them. Everyone has them at some point, some more than others. But the best thing you can do is to take a deep breath.

Anxiety and panic attacks are like waves.

They crash over you and can make you feel like you're drowning, but the thing to remember is that they pass. If you can find something to focus on whether it's a familiar smell or texture that can distract you, it will help you wait out the storm.

I’m so overwhelmed with emotion right now, omg! You are the absolute sweetest!

Just to assuage any concern, Jack and the Guardians are still very near and dear to my heart (heck, I’ve got a tattoo inspired by the film!), and I believe I’ll carry them and the amazing aspects they represent with me my whole life~

As an aspiring author, hearing that my portrayal of any character being spot on is a true honor. I never considered myself to be the most popular Jack blog, but this praise really makes me rethink that imposter syndrome I had.

My reason for leaving was a painful one, and the fandom is no longer in its hay day - I sincerely wish you could have been there. The shenanigans that we got up to were Frost-worthy!

My Jack muse never truly left me, he’s always been close to my heart, and I feel like his voice could still be strong through my writing. I won’t be able to dedicate the same energy I gave to the blog back in college, but I think it might be nice to return for a few casual RP’s and Ask-answers.

Thank you again for taking the time to write and showing me that my work brought happiness to at least one person. That makes it more than worth it~

Icons are a thing, themes are pretty, *we dont do this anymore*, mun & ic conversations don’t happen anymore, the once-ler and jack frost obsession has died down.

That said, rp used to be more chill, there wasn’t as big of a focus on graphics and stuff, and people weren’t actually afraid of eachother? We used to be like “omggg you’re so intimidating” as an actual compliment & it meant that we were anxious and were sending it as a general “hi” type message. When you followed someone, you weren’t just following for a number (people used to make you greeters when you followed them! No matter what!). I knew all my followers and they knew me, i never worried about posting too much ‘ooc’ because people were following for rp but they were also following for me

I’m glad that we’ve moved on from the giant gifs and lack of actual replies, but honestly, i kinda miss the honesty and the friendships of 2012 rp :/

WHAT IS YOUR OTP FOR YOUR CHARACTER?

on here, my current favorite ship is probably ekko x ava with @bystcrdust​, if only because i don’t have a lot of other ships!  although, they are very cute.

for general otps, i also like snufkin x moomin, cindy slam x timmy of a thousand masks, and brit crust x sheldon lee.  (that last one was born of me joking around and then accidentally getting invested.)  but none of those ships have actually happened on this blog!

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO WRITE WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?

just about anything, barring smut and pregnancy.  i’m not very picky otherwise!

honestly, i would love to write more one-sided stuff for angst reasons...  but i need more actual two-sided ships as well.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?

it depends on the age of the muse, honestly.  for teenager muses, i tend not to go for age gaps more than 1-2 years.  like with ekko being 16 and brit being 17, i kinda have them closed off to muses who don’t fall in the 15-17 age range.

but then with 18yo muses like snufkin and ivy, i’m willing to go a little older (not younger, for obvious reasons), like into the early 20s or so.

then there’s the joxter, who regularly crushes on people 20 years older than him, but he himself is 41, so.  basically, and i think this is true in real life as well, the older somebody is, the larger the age gaps that become acceptable are.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?

ha!  extremely, unfortunately!  i have a very difficult time just jumping into ships without feeling out the chemistry between both the muses and the muns.  i find it way easier to ship with people i can actually talk to and plot with.

that, and my muses are very picky with who they end up with, too.  so many of my muses are difficult to get close to and really get to know without massive development.  like cyborg noodle being a massive ball of paranoia and brit needing to learn to value other people and not be so stuck up.  cindy slam is also very difficult to get in a healthy ship due to her anger issues and destructive tendencies (both towards herself and others).

i really do want more ships on this blog for someone other than ekko for once, but the muses...  they just don’t cooperate.  i want to ship all the aforementioned characters with someone, but i feel like i won’t be able to find anyone patient enough for it...  everybody wants their ships and they want them NOW.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NSFW?

i don’t really write anything that could be considered nsfw, so i’m not really sure!  i’m just going to piggy back off of the answer of the person i stole this from and say that anything beyond heavy making out, like if the characters start feeling each other up and taking their clothes off and stuff, probably counts.

WHO ARE OTHER CHARACTERS YOU SHIP YOUR CHARACTER WITH?

ekko x cora x christophe is an ot3 i have going with pagan ( @delinquentborn​ / @martyrnot​ ), which is fun because it’s the first ot3 i’ve ever had on this blog.  we haven’t done that much with them yet, but i like them nonetheless.

i also like the potential dynamic of snufkin x jack frost (rotg) and i’m looking at all these jacks like ship w me you cowards...

but really, there are very few people i’m not willing to ship my muses with.  if there is chemistry there, i am usually willing to give it a shot.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?

like i said, it’s easier for me to ship with plotting, so i would like to talk about it a little bit first, generally.  however, i’m not opposed to ships happening organically through threads, either.  it’s just going to take a long long time to get some of my muses to the point where an organic ship happens, haha!  if you want to ship, it’s better to ask me so that i can start trying to nudge them in that direction, since 80% of the time, they will adamantly oppose going there on their own.

ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?

ship more-or-less.  i’m aromantic myself, so romantic stories aren’t something that i absolutely need.  i do feel a little bit left out of the fun at times, but the rpc’s over-reliance on romantic plots grates on me sometimes.  sometimes, a bitch just wants to see something original.

so, no, i definitely wouldn’t consider myself ship obsessed, and if somebody approaches me only with the intention of shipping, it is extremely off-putting.

ARE YOU MULTISHIP?

yeah!  i don’t want to close myself off to what other people have to offer and miss out on all those sweet dynamics, so i keep myself open.  at least, as open as i can be, given the way my muses are. :/ 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SHIP IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM?

well, in the case of league of legends, i don’t actually like any ships that i can think of.  all of the popular ships bore the absolute shit out of me, even the canon ones!  not a fan of rakan/xayah, honestly.

for my other fandoms, though, i already mentioned snufkin x moomin, cindy x timmy, and brit x sheldon.

i’m also partial to joxter x fillyjonk, and between them and brit x sheldon, you can really tell i’m a slut for opposites attract ships, haha!

for ava’s demon, i was always most partial to ava x odin, although i like ava x maggie quite a bit, too.

and then of course, lain x arisu.  i’ve made like... many amvs with those two.  i watched a trippy cyberpunk anime with themes of identity and mental illness, and the only thing i took away from it was lesbians. ;)

well, first, if there’s a ship you think would work, just ask me about it!  then, if it’s a muse that’s tricky with trusting people, find a way past their barriers. :^)

twain, gentle, and maria for sure. twain muse.. well, he’ll always be my favorite. gentle muse is up there because while i may not have as much muse for him as i used to, i vividly remember the days when i would do literally nothing but scream about him constantly. maria may be new, but she’s so fun to write and so amazing and just perfect in every way.

pretty much all of the baccano! canon ships that involve my muses are really spicy, as well as the MDZS canon ships (wangxian and xuanli) and darling/apple. as for canon ships i DON’T like, these are the ones i can think of just by scanning through my muses pages: gentle and la brava, shiroe and akatsuki, lizzie and daring, kagami and adrien, and tink and terrence.

probably like 6-8 years! i got into roleplaying via minecraft. the minecraft creative server i’d always play on was big on roleplaying, and i always liked to join other roleplay plots or create my own on there. i didn’t start tumblr until like.. 2 and a half years ago now?

1. I am... fairly mentally ill. I know most of us here are, but due to this I take impromptu long breaks and may not respond to IMs/Discord or wherever, and replies are slow at times. Me being introverted also plays heavily into it, so sometimes I literally lack the energy and to communicate. Also, my memory is heavily affected, and sometimes I literally just open a message, switch tabs to do something and then forget to answer. Please, if we were plotting or anything, feel free to reach out again if it’s been awhile and poke me, cause chances are, I still would love to interact! Just have some patience with me <3

2. I am not a plotter. Of course, plotting things here and there are fun, especially we’re looking to try and ship, but I really don’t like deep extensive plotting of every single detail. If we mesh as muns sometimes I can overlook that, cause lbr, it depends on who we’re talking to, and I’ve had a lot of deep plot discussions that were fun because of who I was talking to. And I’m willing to compromise if you enjoy deep plotting, but--- it’s not my thing. I’m more of a spontaneous rper; I love just letting muses mesh or clash on their own and make it up as we go along. Roleplaying is improve, and I’m comfortable treating it as such.

3. I have information up on every muse I have. ( Save for Makoto and Nagisa. ) So, if you’re interested in a muse but you’re not too sure where they are from, then please don’t hesitate to take a peak.

4. The best way to interact with me - if IMing me directly is too daunting - is sending in a meme/ask. I always encourage random asks, even if it takes me awhile to answer it. I am far from intimidating and am always open to more interactions and potential friendships.

5. I run three other blogs, so my attention is usually split between them, although lately my multi has been getting the brunt of my attention. Eh... I think I’d have to say no? I mean, I’m not against any muses liking Tooth. Who wouldn’t? Look at her! It’s just a matter of your muse getting past my muses emotional defenses, and that’s just up to the writing to see of it happens. If they click, they click. And we’ll see how it goes.

Okay. There are many. A few Jack Frost’s, obviously. An Ombric. Nightlight. A couple Pitch’s have been vying for her affections lately. A few crossover things, like a Sinbad hitting on her a bit lately. And I’m loving it omg it’s amazing. Not to mention the platonic flawless bromance ships, with Snow, and Sterling, and Magolor, and Seraphina. And a platonic Jack too. And then there are some are inactives who I miss. Like a really great Bunnymund who hasn’t been around. But we had some cute stuff, man.

Um, not exactly? Your muse can hit on mine without discussing it. But if it starts to go somewhere, I do like to speak to the mun ooc. Get to know them, plot things out a little, gush over our babies. Like obnoxious parents at a play date.

Student Profile: Hiro Hamada

“Guess if everyone else is doing this, I don’t really have a choice, huh? Anyway, well... I’m Hiro Hamada, and my canon universe is the 2014 film Big Hero 6, the 54th film in Disney’s animated canon and the first one to star Marvel Comics characters (as well as the spinoff TV show, which our mun says he still needs to watch online...). Specifically, it’s based on the comic series of the same name as my movie of origin, which was created by Steven T. Seagle and Duncan Rouleau and made its debut in September 1998. Guess that makes those comics just a bit older than I am! Anyway, the main plot of my origin film was that my brother, Tadashi, wanted me to ditch my old gig in botfighting and attend San Fransokyo’s prestigious university - named, of course, San Fransokyo Tech - and convinced me to do it with the help of Baymax, my personal healthcare companion. A combination of Tadashi’s tragic passing and the threat of the mysterious villain known as Yokai would lead me to discover that I was capable of far greater things than I used to think. Obviously, if you wanna RP with me in my original universe it’ll probably be set post-movie; however, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t make sense for me to stay in SFIT if people wanted to visit me at the HTI campus (I don’t even know where HTI is, it just is), so let’s just say I transferred to HTI for my graduate studies.

“In my canon ‘verse, I’m 14 years old and exactly 5′ in height; I’m pretty sure my comics counterpart is 110 pounds in weight, but since I’m built like wire, an estimate of about 90 pounds would probably make more sense (it’s the same as Violet Parr’s weight as confirmed by canon, since she and I are the same age). As with all the other playable students who are underage in canon, I’ll have been aged up in the HTI setting - so if you wanna try anything kinky, it’d probably be best to ask College!me, just to be safe. I already went through a lot of hard times in canon, and seriously, I don’t need any more!

“My past experiences have given me a powerful character arc and some big-time motivation to pursue hero work - I never did set out to be one, but life has a habit of throwing you some damn crazy curveballs, huh? My main strengths are that as a, well, hero, I’m innovative, courageous, and selfless, though I’ve learned that my tendency to be impulsive, insecure, and cocky balances those traits out enough that being a protagonist has been quite the challenge from day one. It took a lot of experiences with my friends from SFIT, and especially Baymax, to help me come to terms with the loss of my brother and also learn what it means to be a capable leader. My brother wanted to help people, and now that I know what my team and I are capable of, that’s exactly what we’re gonna do!

“I think my position at HTI is self-explanatory - I’m a first year master’s student in the Robotics Engineering program, currently vacillating between robotics in healthcare, artificial intelligence, and modular engineering. Not sure about whether or not to pick the thesis project option, but I’ve been talking with some of the faculty and hopefully I’ll be able to make a decision soon. Unfortunately, in the HTI AU, my friends remained in SFIT for their own graduate studies, but we keep in touch and when the team needs to get back together I can simply head back to San Fransokyo over the weekend (though how I get there and back in record time is a mystery even to me). Among the other friends I do have at HTI, Violet Parr is my closest, and we’re actually dorm-mates! Her personality and mine just match so well that we can seamlessly complete our thoughts and sentences with ease, and trading snarky comments is one of our favorite pastimes - aside from saving the day, of course. We unfortunately don’t share that many classes due to her history major but we do hang out and do hero stuff together when we have the free time, and I’ve even started teaching her about botfighting on our slow days (although due to her lack of engineering experience, she’s yet to build her own bot, which is disappointing although in no way surprising). Outside of Disney, Pit and Ruby Rose are my other closest friends and, being in the Mechanics program, have enough talent with weapon maintenance that I’ve actually turned to them when in need of repairs, as well as cheerful and optimistic personalities that’s brightened up many a day I’ve spent with them. I’ve also developed a friendship with Jack Frost, who had similar issues to mine in the past and served as a guide of sorts when I was starting out at HTF; he always enjoys my visits, even if he has a habit of dropping a snowball down my hoodie every so often. And among the teachers, Mettaton EX is one of the faculty members who fascinates me, because a robot whose behavior is even more like a person than Baymax, no offense to the latter, is a source of fascination to me, and - don’t tell anyone else this - I actually do enjoy his performances on TV, too!

“I’m probably the first of the muses here on this blog whom the mun hasn’t attempted to RP as yet, but since I’m one of his favorite characters nowadays and he sees a lot of himself in me, I’m pretty sure he’ll be able to portray me pretty well without straying too far from the canon. W - What do you do for a living?

i’m a childcare professional. i’ve done teaching, managed a daycare, and now i’m a professional nanny/manny. i love what i do but it can be super exhausting sometimes. not to mention the stigma around the job-- folks thinking that looking after kids must be so easy. as someone who’s been in the field for fifteen years, i can tell you it’s not.

this is easy-- i won’t ever ship pitch with a jack frost. that ship is just-- no. a whole universe of no from me. same with gaston and belle. i love writing him pursuing her, but a cornerstone of her character is her refusal to give into him. i can’t see them as a couple. i have a lot of feelings about my notps so i’m gonna stop here.

“Ah come on Elsa, your killing me here. You telling me you’ve never heard the phrase, Jack frost nipping at your nose? Jeez, does Arrendelle not have any culture or something? You all got ice for brains clearly.” He sighs to himself and then gently leans forward towards Elsa, slowly closing the distance until he can see the tips of her blonde lashes, and the soft bristles of hair that linger on the top of her head. “It’s cause ya know---I’m an ice guy and I can make your nose cold and stuff like---” He then presses his nose ever so gently against hers. “See? I’ve officially nipped at your nose.”
