Finally getting around to do this! You remember that one old Tumblr trend where you had an original poster draw a character in a transparent background, and then more people would reblog to add their character in it as well and form a chain?

Well, I decided we're doing just that with our Shadow Milk/Pure Vanilla AUs! If you are someone with an AU that features PV/SM, feel free to add onto the image! It is transparent, so you can add them in any space!

donate to start a gender affirming clinic for trans youth in iowa ahead of transphobic laws!

hi all, a family friend who is a gynecologist is attempting to help trans youth in iowa ahead of the criminalization of gender affirming care for minors by starting a clinic just across the river in moline, IL. the project of the quad cities is a nonprofit organization that supports lgbtq folks with community spaces, STD testing, harm reduction services, and loads more. if they reach their goal of $20,000, they will be able to open up a gender affirming care clinic and help iowa trans youth!

oliver "ollie" miller (he/him) 15 years old, has adhd dyslexia and asthma, grew up really sheltered with has parents openly preferring him over his brother

jackson "jackie" miller (he/him) 17 years old, deaf and autistic with really bad anxiety, has hearing aids but wearing them for too long overwhelms him, i wouldnt say hes openly gay but he never really had a chance to be in the closet, ollies older brother, grew up with his parents treating him like a failure

sage arlene (she/her), 15 years old, audhd and ocd, has two supportive gay dads, ollies best friend, generally a very cheerful person but ollie and terry joke that she should come with a "will bite" warning like an agressive dog

terry cuervo (they/he), 16 years old, autism dyslexia ptsd and panic disorder, half latino on his dads side, emo theater kid, survives off of energy drinks

via wilson (she/her) 16 years old, c-ptsd and anxiety, sages gf, grew up with a single dad

rosy moren (she/they) 16 years old, undiagnosed audhd, grew up in foster care, vias adopted sister, the friend to go to when you need comfort, advice, or simply a distraction

- Damien refuses to admit it but he cries every time he watches The Notebook and The Titanic

- Gavin and Freelancer have a room in Freelancer’s apartment for Caelum

- Elliott is afraid of snakes

- Vincent named one of his cars after Lovely

- Lasko’s listener struggles to fit in at D.A.M.N and Lasko was the first person to make them feel welcome

- Pre-turning, sometimes Lovely’s hair would fritz up when they got excited or frustrated

- Damien and Huxley think about Lovely a lot, and they don’t know if they’re dead or alive

- Darlin’ had distant parents, so Gabe and Marie would often take over the parenting roles for them

- Asher noticed the change in Darlin’s behavior when they started hanging out with Quinn, but he didn’t know how to approach them about it

- Angel purposefully ignores Christian during pack meetings to piss him off

- Every now and then, when Freelancer uses water magic, they get a chill down their spine and feel slightly nauseous

- Darlin’ asks Sam to bite them every now and then, but they’re secretly terrified that when he does finally agree to do it, they’ll only be reminded of Quinn

- Anton really likes classical music

- When Angel saw the rings that Milo got for him and Sweetheart, they freaked out and thought they had also gotten engaged along with Baabe and Asher

- When Asher told his family that he was engaged, his mother nearly blew out an ear drum with how loud she squealed over the phone. Same for his sister.

- Asset sometimes sits there and tries really hard to remember who they were before the obsession code took over. They are not usually successful.

- James writes letters to his partner every day, even though he can never send them to them

- Freelancer is scared to bridge with anyone since the whole Kody situation

Honestly, I really love how poetry and wordplay is such an integral part of Yuma and Makoto's character. How they use such words to reflect on themselves and the world around them.

It truly shows that despite their logical side, despite being dubbed as the "greastest mind of the world", they're still human in essence. Because they can still view the world through colored lenses and the ambiguity of imagination. Of emotions and ideals that are not actually completely rooted in hard cold logic.

The clash of the ideals Yuma and Makoto shares and the creed forced upon them by the WDO meld into a fascinating multi-faceted character. Whose multiple sides we can see and share due to their odd coexistence via strange circumstances. It also somewhat makes it hard to talk about one of them without mentioning the other when they're so interwined together.

I really do love it.
