"Neuvillette," she says, voice shaking, almost tiptoeing up into his face. "It came to me in a dream!" Normally, those words will warrant a frown on his face, but something in his gut tells him the danger of this situation is… different.

Instead, she turned her body, and with a swift motion, she pivoted, driving her back leg out. Her kick snapped through the air, but it lacked Mother Koril’s power and precision. Mae felt herself wobble, her balance slightly off. Before she could adjust, Mother Koril was on her. The Zabrak moved with speed, catching Mae’s ankle in midair and twisting just enough to throw Mae off balance completely. Mae stumbled, barely managing to stay on her feet. “Your balance is still weak, and your kick had no power. In a real fight, you don’t have time to adjust or recover.
