hello friends!! if you follow me for good omens content, I’m moving to a different blog to keep things better organized and I’m reblogging all my good omens stuff on this blog to that blog. which is called @whicorzomens. :)

also I might start uploading my art here on yet another new blog(likely dubbed whicorzoodles after my insta handle), but I’m still thinking on it. Instagram, despite being an image sharing platform, is terrible for both art and artists, but at the same time it’s where I started when it came to online communities and sharing my art. also it would take a while and be a cringefest to reupload all my art to tumblr. though I will say I am leaning towards tumblr bc most of the terrible people seem to have moved to twitter, and tumblr has a queue system and a fantastic full-definition no cropping image sharing function. LEARN FROM THIS HELLSITE, INSTAGRAM.

anyways, just thought you folks would like to know!! I hope to see you on whicorzomens, and mayhaps a future art account :))

#moving blogs #switching blogs #seriously though why is instagram #a platform ENTIRELY RELIANT ON SHARING IMAGES #so horrid for sharing art??#like lowering image quality #forcing artists to crop their work awkwardly #yucky low quality zoom-ins #and the algorithm OH THE ALGORITHM #it promotes art reposting and theft because reposters can upload much more rapidly than the people actually putting work into art #bc THEYRE JUST STEALING IT CMON INSTA HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE A PROBLEM W THIS #as well as that shady stuff they've been doing w feeds even before the newest(by 8/28/20) update #by not showing all the posts from every single person you're following #causing people to miss posts from artists that would have otherwise been valuable exposure #now you have to go into a separate menu JUST TO SEE OLDER POSTS...............#i think this stream of tags just ended up in me convinving myself to start a tumblr art blog lmao I might just #i'd have to use desktop tumblr bc my phone doesn't have enough space for it rn(16GB..........riperoni) but I've been using desktop tumblr #for a while already so it shouldnt be that bad #I don't get colors :( but I do still have italics which is the best I could hope for
