regarding wayv's enunciation, should they get better/ do something about that or is that simply the quirk of being a k-pop produced group? i know you are not criticising them, i am just wondering regarding the comments you showed
I don't think there's anything that Can be done about it because it's an issue all cpop groups have. the genre (idol music) was popularized in korea and people are used to hearing korean lyrics associated with that sound, even cpop groups who work exclusively in china and are produced by chinese companies make songs that sound incomprehensible (esp coupled w the fact that idols can't sing that well to begin with). at the end of the day the concept of idol groups as they currently exist in cpop are modelled after kpop (and a lot of them hire korean producers) and of all the cpop songs ive heard (like upbeat, title track type songs, not ballads) poppin love comes the closest to breaking free from that because it actually does sound like mandarin in the chorus
