its here fellas
Trainer Notes !
His homeland is the Johto region and he grew up in Ecruteak City, however growing up he would occasionally leave the city and go visit Olivine City because it’s right there and he was always curious about where the routes led to. He’s all too familiar with the burned tower and its story and its one of his favorite parts about the city, the top of the tower is where he usually chills at
Gym battles aren’t his main priority, which is why badges kinda stops at Morty’s gym. He’s more interested in traveling and seeing the sights, however does the gym battles when he feels like it for the experience and to have fun with the challenges
He calls himself a traveler but truth is he’s pretty laidback, not showing too much interest in leaving the region or having a ‘proper’ journey. He stays at his home or leaves the city from time to time to check out other places in Johto but never really too far unless he has a reason to / he has someone to go with
His treehouse is hidden in the trees near Bellchime Trail, he and his father built it there with his father’s promise that it’ll be close enough to Ho-Oh so it can protect Larry. It remains his safe place and hides there away from others when he needs to be alone
Despite his love for Ho-oh he’s a lot more interested in Lugia and wants to one day meet the guardian of the seas due to the fact Lugia is more of a mystery to him than Ho-Oh is, sorry dad
Once he was old enough / okay enough to travel that far he’ll occasionally go to the daycare to help out and care for the Pokemon that are in there, not minding the distance because hanging out with the tiny creatures makes it worth it
On top of that he knows how to bake, especially Pokemon treats and he’s more than willing to share
His method of catching Pokemon more involves letting the ‘mon do what it wants, he doesn’t throw anything at it right away, but prefers to get close to it and befriend it. If he thinks it wants to join him he’ll set a Pokeball down and let it decide. So more often than not he’ll have a few critters following him around that aren’t officially caught yet. Despite this he calls his team more of a family and he treats them as his friends above anything else, since battling others isn’t on top of the list of things he wants to do all the time
He loves his Pokemon dearly; often pampering them by playing with them, feeding them treats, and essentially giving them whatever they wanted. They’re family to them, and hopes that he can protect them the best he can just like they would to him. Despite they’re outside sweet demeanor though he won’t shy away from training them and teaching them ways to defend themselves if the situation were to arise
He’s not scared of Team Rocket, he calls them cowards if anything, he’ll fight them if he has to especially if its involving protecting someone or something from them
He’s team Valor because its the best team I dont take criticism
Mon Notes !
Cinnamon / lvl 30 / m
Agility ● Slam ● Shadow Ball ● Surf
He’s considered to be Larry’s first Pokemon. The two met back when Cinnamon was just a Sentret, and it was like love at first sight. They both immediately clicked and Larry would spend countless hours playing with and talking to the little guy. To this day Cinnamon is considered his best friend and remains by his side through thick and thin.
He’s considered Larry’s partner pokemon, he’s never inside a Pokeball and can always been seeing riding Larry’s shoulders or walking beside him. That’s mostly because he never actually caught him, Cinnamon has just always stayed with him so there wasn’t never any need to officially catch him. Because he doesn’t have an assigned Pokeball he sports a musical note necklace in a similar way as a collar, so Larry can easily pick out who he was and because it was just a nice gift to give to his friend
Cinnamon has a wild personality. Constantly having energy and sneaking away to hide in nooks and crannies and not hesitating to taking anything he can gets his hands on. He’s extremely attached to his trainer and would often push away others with his itty bitty strength if they get too close to him. He enjoys being the center of attention and loves to be given pets and cuddles and treats, it won’t be rare for him to deliver a loud ‘chirp’ to get eyes to focus on him or for him to nudge someone’s hand to get them to give him a scratch. The friendly yet protective leader of the pack, he’ll also be vocal about when things don’t feel right, and it’d be one of the rare times he’d growl if he finds someone or something suspicious
Marigold / lv 31 / m
Smokescreen ● Flame Wheel ● Quick Attack ● Leer
This a one that Larry actually went all the way to the professor for. After Cinnamon started to be less of the ‘wild’ slot and more into one that he took care of and was part of the team that a part of him felt bad that Cinnamon didn’t have someone else to spend time with. Especially another Pokemon to call a friend. So with the goal to give him a playmate, Larry went all the way to the lab to pick up one of the starters that was advertised to be someone’s actual first Pokemon. A pokedex was offered as well, but he just wanted a new ‘mon. Out of all three starters the Cyndaquil was what caught his eye first, and that was that
Cinnamon and Marigold are like brothers, and Cinnamon is the only other member that Marigold is fine with being around with. Marigold is a lot more on guard, and has issues with ‘attack first ask questions later’. However he has his sweet side, and is a cuddler when he genuinely warms up to someone and trusts them. He has a tendency to escape from his Pokeball to show his face and say hello, more often than not he does this because he wants to hang out with Larry and Cinnamon and see the surroundings, so he doesn’t get called back unless he wants to cause trouble.
Hoot / lv 30 / f
Confusion ● Hypnosis ● Psychic ● Aerial Ace
She was once Larry’s stalker, as he liked to put it, because at some point she suddenly showed up in the city and would constantly follow his every mood. Of course it would never phase him, if anything he would just drop food on the ground just in case she was hungry and to show that he didn’t want to harm her. 6 times out of 10 she would swoop down to take the free food and then go back to doing what she was doing. This was a routine that Larry got stuck in the middle in for many nights, until she dropped to the ground suffering from an injured wing. Immediately he wanted to help her, but she continued to back off and keep her distance. Despite the hesitation seeing Cinnamon and Marigold be so close to him brought her comfort and she allowed them all to get close. Soon enough Larry had a wild owl in his house.
Once she was fully healed Larry took her to the usual spot where she watched him from and waited for her to head back into the wild. However, she stayed put, and instead stared at him. Her message was clear, she wasn’t going anywhere, yet when a ball was offered she instead knocked it away. She liked him, but she wasn’t going to join him that easily and wanted to show her recovery and see his skill in a fight.
Of course Marigold was more than willing to do it, she was strong but he got the upper hand. Her final move was to knock into Larry himself to unlock a Pokeball. The Noctowl was his.
She continues to be quiet and keep to herself, constantly glaring at others simply because she isn’t a people person. Unless that person was Larry, who is the only person where she would perch on top of the head of with no hesitation. Once or twice she’ll show affection in her own ways, which is usually a headbutt or her sharing pieces of her own food. Due to him saving her life she has vowed to help Larry in every which way she can while also devoting her life to protect the reset of the team. She’s the mother of the group so to speak, the quiet terrifying mother who constantly tries to keep everyone else out of trouble. She’s a battler at heart, and won’t back down from a fight.
Midnight / lv 30 / m
Screech ● Toxic ● Psychic ● Shadow Ball
Eevees aren’t always the most common ‘mon, so to find one just wandering around felt like it was just too easy to get. Turns out the Eevee was abandoned, tossed aside into the woods after its trainer deemed it too weak and not worth making the effort to take care of. Because of this, it would constantly run off at the sight of any human being and would much prefer to keep to itself. It didn’t take long for Larry to understand his pattern, so he would instead leave food out for it close to his hiding spots and then leave.Usually, he wouldn’t take the food, but one day when he came back to check on it the food bowl was empty, and an Eevee slowly approached him out of the bushes.
It took a few more weeks to fully gain the Eevee’s trust, but once he did he saw that he was a playful creature and enjoyed chasing anything that moved to try and play hunter. Larry was the only person the Eevee was perfectly comfortable with being around, however he never followed him home and still liked to hide in the bushes. During a visit, the Eevee was given a Soothe Bell as another peace offering, which the Eevee happily accepted.
Soon after the Eevee evolved right in front of him, it was late at night when this happened, earning the name Midnight. Midnight pawed at him, knowing that there was an empty slot on the team that was reserved for him and he was finally ready to take it.
Midnight continues to be playful, his favorite toy being a laser pointer that he can chase around and never get tired. Another favorite toy item is the Soothe Bell that’s ties around his neck, he often paws at it to hear its jingles whenever he’s bored and never lets the item out of his sight, viewing the bell as some sort of special safety blanket. He continues to be extremely wary of other humans, constantly sticking close to Larry whenever someone approaches and instinctively growls at them to let them know to not mess with either of them. He’s grown a level of confidence that he didn’t have when he was an Eevee, enjoying battles that he participates in and likes to stand up tall to protect his family. He’s a loyal and observant Pokemon, and wants to prove himself strong.
Chomp / lv 3 / f
Tackle ● Sand Attack
The Gible was actually a gift egg, the owners having offered the mysterious egg to Larry knowing that he would care for it to the best of his ability. Apparently the old owner was a trainer from the Sinnoh region, but had returned to SInnoh without picking the egg back up, leaving it behind. After days of them never returning the egg became Larry’s, and he panicked. He had never taken care of an egg before but he trusted himself to know he wasn’t just going to break it on purpose. The other members were happy to have a baby in the party, and Marigold served as the egg’s main source of heat because he constantly curled up next to it.
It took a hassle, but the egg finally hatched into a baby Gible. She bit Larry immediately, but he knew it wasn’t out of malicious and more because she was a baby who got too excited. It won’t be the last of those bites, but Chomp was finally born.
Being the baby of the group, Chomp was the team member that everyone in the vicinity vowed to die for. Because she’s just a baby in needing to experience the outside world, she’s rarely inside her pokeball, almost as often as Cinnamon is. He’s constantly carrying her around and doesn’t let her out of her sight, she only gets called back whenever he can’t carry her around anymore for the day or he’s going to go somewhere where its not safe for her to be out. She’s a curious and playful baby Pokemon who bites and chases anything that moves. It’s her own way of having fun, seeing as how cheerful she really is. She tries to act tough though, and would jump out of Larry’s arms in occasion to join in on the fight. That’s another instance where she would get called back into the ball.
Pepper / lv 40 / f
Icy Wind ● Slash ● Agility ● Shadow Ball
Larry would never in his life sneak his way out and attempt to go to Mt. Silver itself. Then he actually did.
It was a dare, and one that of course he was not going to back down from despite it being a near impossible challenge. He traveled far, but ended up being unable to go up the mountain anyways since it was a closed location only the best of the best can enter. Viewing his current location as being close enough and calling the dare a win, he turned around and headed for the long journey home, unaware that someone else decided to follow him.
Cinnamon immediately picked up that they were being followed and showed hostility at whatever it was that tried to get too close. In that moment a Sneasel finally popped out. Her mischevious nature was clear, and it attempted to steal from the pair, but was immediately stopped by Cinnamon. She retreated back, but she was obviously not going anywhere. Not seeing the Sneasel as a pure threat, he tossed some food down and continued walking.
She popped out again when he was close to home, but this time gives a warning swipe, wanting a fight. They both gave her what he wanted, with Cinnamon being the one who battles her because by that point he was sick and tired of her and didn’t appreciate her following them around. They both gave a good fight, enough for the both of them to suffer from cuts and bruises. The Sneasel was too stubborn to give up and it was only until it collapsed from fatigue that Cinnamon was declared the winner. Once he was rewarded with a berry to get his strength back up, Larry turned his attention to the exhausted Sneasel and treated her with potions and berries too. It felt a little better afterwards, and showed her appreciation for his kindness and the fight by clinging to his leg until the Pokeball was offered.
Pepper is stubborn and quick to fight, often wanting to be the first in line to prove her strength in a battle. She’s constantly finding ways to get into trouble, whether it be challenging random wild Pokemon or stealing from strangers. This is simply her way of having fun and doesn’t seem the harm in doing what she wants to do. Even if she wants to be the problem child, her loyalty to Larry and the team is easy to see, and won’t go against orders when she sees the situation is serious and she’s needed. Pepper also has a soft side of her own, many of the objects she steals are often so she can give them to other rather than keeping them for no good reason.

Pokemon AU! Based off of @cattlechop and @lyss6a
Trainer cards were made here (x) (sorry the sprites don’t fit them perfectly, I was using the options the site I used had. If anyone knows where I can customise sprites pls lmk)
Amanda Hess is a trainer dead set on getting out of her parents shadow as two of the greatest Coordinators ever. She hails from Lilycove city and is making her way through Johto (after failing to make it the first time) back when all she had was the Ralts she found out on Route 102 that was getting attacked by two Corphish that had found their way onto land. Look, even she can’t let some little thing get hurt like that, okay?
Hannah Lee is tired of everyone thinking they can push her around and into a box that she doesn’t want to be in. Alright? She knows that she’s going to show everyone that she can make it on her own, she’s going to win the Johto league if it kills her. Thankfully her starter Torchic, now a Combusken and the Hitmonchan that she’s raised up from an egg have got her back. They’ll make sure she gets there safe and sound.
Check it. Samuel “Sam” “Sammy” “Cool” Beans isn’t your average Coordinator. Nothing about this kid is average (whether it’s above or below is another question), not when he’s got rocking style and confidence (cockiness) that’s going to rock the Johto circuit. Don’t ask him how he ended up with a team that’s 3/5th’s Fairy-type and way more pink than he initially expected. Seriously, don’t ask because even he doesn’t know.
And then there’s Mike Jaundice. Even he isn’t totally sure how he ended up in Johto with nothing but a denim jacket and a backpack that’s empty more often than it isn’t. He avoided home and went too far to go back, now he’s making his way through doing odd jobs to keep going and take care of the Pichu that had been tossed out of a litter of eggs that were hatched for being too small. Maybe he’ll pick up some more friends along the way.
More ramblings and world-building under the cut! (Please ignore continuity errors such as Pokemon that are from a different region somehow being in Johto I wished I planned this out better I’m sorry)
Mike was the first person to arrive in New Bark Town, helping some random new kid move into their house as payment for taking him to the new region. He even was able to smuggle his Pichu onto the moving truck. He decides to hang around Violet City once his job is over. He works part time in the gym in exchange for food and a place to stay until he decides it’s time to leave.
Amanda came through after Professor Elm had just given out two of his starters. After begrudgingly saving him from a rabid Poochyena he gives her the last starter, a tiny little Chikorita that Amanda does not want. Chikorita is a grass type, won’t do well in Johto and she can’t have any dead weight on her team. On the other hand, the little guy seems determined to prove himself so she might as well keep him around and train him up on her way to the first gym.
For five years Sam has been late to each new region. He always runs out of contests to gather ribbons in, but not this time. No way is he going to let it happen again. He’s already in Violet City and he’s stalking the contest hall for Johto’s first ever contest season. In fact he’s so early that he’s actually sorta run out of money and no one will battle him, so, uh, he’s sorta been camping in the forest between Violet City and Cherrygrove.
Starting her Johto journey in Ecruteak City may not have been the smartest idea Hannah has ever had (especially when at the moment her entire team is fighting-based) but it’s fine. She’s headed to where everyone else starts to train up, catch some more Pokemon, and make her way back through the region. When the infamous Team Rocket pops up in Violet City she refuses to let this team of bullies hurt anyone.
The four of them run into each other, quite literally, and get dragged into defeating Team Rocket. After that’s taken care of, well, since they’re all planning on going the same way they might as well stick together. Especially when Team Rocket is still on the prowl.
Their Teams (Before the gang meets each other):
-Amanda-
1. Ralts-Kirlia; found the little thing being attacked on Route 102, saved it and now it’s her partner. Amanda isn’t sure if it’s a girl or a boy so what it’ll evolve into is anyone’s guess. It’s because of Ralts that Amanda fell in love with Psychic types.
2. Eevee-Espeon; If Ralts started her love for Psychic types, Espeon cemented it. Amanda hatched an Eevee after being gifted an egg by her parents before she started her first journey. She had no idea what she wanted her to evolve into, until it happened one early morning while she was making her way to Johto for the second time and just happened to be doing her daily grooming of her Pokemon. Amanda is nothing if not a doting trainer.
3. Pidgey-Pidgeotto-Pidgeot; Was the first Pokemon Amanda actually caught after going to Kanto (after failing Johto the first time around) and she needed a pick-me-up. Problem is, this particular Pidgeot is deathly afraid of heights and refuses to fly Amanda anywhere outside of battle.
4. Chikorita-Bayleef; Given to her by Professor Elm and evolves during the gang’s journey. Amanda will not stop until the little guy can beat anything, regardless of dumb type-advantages.
-Hannah-
1. Torchic-Combusken; Got her as her starter in Hoenn after finally deciding to not follow her parents footsteps to become either a breeder or a Pokemon professor. Knew she wanted a fighting type, Hannah wants something that hits hard and fast.
2. Egg-Tyrogue-Hitmonchan; The egg was sent to her as an attempt on her parents side to show support after trying to get her to come home for so long (and also remind her of her roots). It lucked out that Hannah got what would become her closest Pokemon from it. Hitmonchan is extremely protective of Hannah and that may be why he evolved so quickly, honestly who knows?
-Sam-
1. Eevee-Sylveon; Was given to him by his dad, who told him to make sure he evolved it into something strong, something that will win him every League he attempts. Well, Mr. Beans was thinking of a Flareon or a Jolteon or an Umbreon. Imagine everyone’s surprise when one day Eevee evolves in a beautiful but horribly -did I say horribly I meant adorably- sassy Sylveon. (Imagine everyone’s surprise when Sam disappears one day leaving behind a note saying he’s going to make something of himself.) Sylveon will only listen to her master, and even not him sometimes.
2. Caterpie-Metapod-Butterfree; He caught the bug-type in Kanto after booking it away from home. He didn’t expect it to evolve into something more beautiful than it is scary. Bugs are supposed to be scary? Aren’t they? Sam quickly fell in love with Contests after trying both gym-battling and coordinating. They say he fell in love with the spotlight they put on him and his Pokemon.
3. Mawhile; Caught her while he was sulking after not getting enough ribbons in Hoenn. How was he supposed to know she was a fairy-type? She looked scary from the back! Primarily uses her to battle but is learning how to show off her other side
-Mike-
1. Pichu; He had just realized that he wouldn’t be going back home again when he passed by a random breeder’s house. A litter of eggs (if that a thing?) just hatched out a bunch of Pichu’s, except one was a runt and Mike just couldn’t leave the little guy alone.
2. Egg- He has no idea how or when he started carrying around an egg, but every once in awhile it shakes so he knows there’s something in there. Pichu likes to sleep up against it so he figures he might as well hold onto it.
I think that’s all for now. If anyone is interested in me making a part two with what happens after the gang meets each other then I’ll make it. Also how all the other Pokemon I put on those cards come into play!
(Also if anyone is interested in a fic I can maybe work on something? I’ve got so many CO198x fics that I want to write already omg)

Day 4
Morning diary! Wow, I’m pretty tuckered out today! It’s a bit later than when I normally start writing, but I’ve had such a busy morning you wouldn’t believe! Mr Trainer Man seems obsessed with #FATBAT and I don’t want Mr Trainer Man to undergo the same level of pain as… Well, I don’t want Mr Trainer Man to undergo any pain! Anyway, we’re off to find Mr Trainer Man to tell him the weird red haired guy with the angry face went into the burned down building!
Actually, this may have all been a huge mistake… Mr Trainer Man has gone straight to the burned down building! Mr Trainer Man, wait, it may not be safe! Oh no, he’s starting a fight…
#FATBAT is faster than the rest of us, so she takes on the Murkrow that Chat sends out. I waddle up behind and pull on Mr Trainer Man’s shirt, pointing at Chat. They have 5 pokes. So do we. We all match up. #FATBAT is already fighting the Murkrow, so we leave her to it. Sandy faces up to the Elekid, being immune to electric type moves. McQueen flies over to the Haunter as he isn’t scared of ghosts. Aang runs over to the Croconaw with his fists crackling with electricity. Leaving me with the Kadabra. Wait, why am I in against a Kadabra? Oh whatever, guess I’ll just go with it. Wendy rock gives me strength as I summon rocks from the floor below, but then Kadabra disables that move, using his psychic powers to stop me from summoning more rocks! How rude is that?! I spit in his face which causes him to run crying back to Chat. I turn around and see everyone else has managed to take down their opponents, all unscathed. Chat runs out, trying to hide the weeping Kadabra, embarrassed. Mr Trainer Man thinks about going downstairs to wake up the sleeping beasts, but a Ledian flies up to us and tells us that they are supposed to stay sleeping. #FATBAT swats him away in her excitement, and he hits the wall with a resounding crunch.
~
Whew, I’ve not ran like that in ages! Did anybody see if that noise woke up the beasts? No one? Oh well. Maybe that crunch was just louder in my ear…
We ran about a bit to lose any potential pursuers before we end up in the gym. I had wanted to pass by the dance studio, but Mr Trainer Man gets tunnel vision sometimes! Oh well.
McQueen is still bubbling after his fight with Chat’s Haunter, and wants to carry on ghostbusting. I’m more than happy to trust him; McQueen has been a good friend ever since Losegull went off for his competition… I hope he hasn’t forgotten about me… Oh, sorry, got lost in thoughts for a moment there. As I was saying, McQueen has been a good friend, and a strong companion, and I’m still very tired from all that running.
McQueen made short work of those trainers, and now we have the gym leader, a guy called Morty. His grey hair makes him look super old, is he part ghost? Mr Trainer Man seems a little tense; is this going to be another tough fight?
McQueen heads out against the Duskull. He pulls back a bit to get some extra power behind the wing attack, and Morty swaps his Duskull for a Misdreavus to take the hit! Morty tried to heal the Misdreavus up, but with a well placed wing attack the Misdreavus goes down.
Aand and I start up a chant, which Sandy stomps along to. #FATBAT flaps about a bit trying to get the timing down, all of us feeling on an adrenaline rush still from the running earlier. Morty sends out a Gengar. McQueen pulls back his wing, slaps the Gengar around the face-
A crackle of lightning.
A thunderbolt from the sky.
McQueen drops to the floor, the faint smell of cooked bird in the air. #FATBAT screeches forward and clamps her mouth over the Gengar’s arm, forcing it to retreat.
#FATBAT’s rage continues, gnawing away at Morty’s Shuppet and Haunter. I hold the Wendy rock tightly, and feel it get warm in my hand, almost as if McQueens spirit is moving to inhabit it. I look up to see Aang move in for the kill as he notices the Haunter has put #FATBAT to sleep. As the Haunter goes down I feel the Wendy rock cool. Aang is struggling against Morty’s Sableye, so I move forward. The Sableye is damaged, so a water pulse is all it takes. Morty sends in his final Pokemon, a Duskull, who is clearly no match for me. His Shadow Ball bounces off me and I unleash a barrage of water pulses to take him down.
Badge get for Mr Trainer Man.
~
It does hurt. I won’t pretend it doesn’t. But that warmth… It can’t be a coincidence… Was it just the fact that we were in a place full of ghosts, or does this rock have the ability to harbour spirits? I never doubted that Wendy is in here… but could McQueen be as well?
Another grey haired man awaits us as we pass through the building to go to the next town. Oh, the next one’s a city? Cool! I don’t have the energy to be angry at the resemblance to the gym leader. He hands Mr Trainer Man… an iron plate? Really? What good is that supposed to do us? Ugh whatever.
Yo, Mr Dinosaur, why do you have a flower on your back? No, no I don’t think it looks silly, I think it looks pretty cool. You do you. You want to wear flowers, that’s cool. I just don’t understand why you’re called Tomato? What do you mean ‘why are you called Brick’ that’s just rude! No, no, okay, point taken. Actually, a good friend of mine had a flower on his head. Yeah, his name was Brian. You should know, Tomato, Pokemon travelling with Mr Trainer Man… Well, I’ve seen a lot of my friends get hurt. Beyond repair, you know? But, you seem like a hardy guy, and… Well, Brian was always a good influence. Fancy tagging along? You do? That’s fantastic! Come on, let’s get you trained up…
~
Be a mon, you must be swift as a coursing Floatzel… with all the force of a great Thundurus… with all the strength of a raging Feraligatr… mysterious as the origin of Mew! Yeah, I bring all the cool tunes to training! Ah, Tomato’s fitting in really well! We had a quick match of tug-of-war; me and Tomato vs Aang and Sandy. #FATBAT was our independent judge, and although neither behemoth managed to pull the other one along, we did get Sandy to buckle a bit at the knees, so we were considered the victors, yay!
Oh… hi sir… safari zone? Sounds barbaric; you mean you’ve literally just captured a load of Pokemon and put them in an enclosure? What a freak…
#FATBAT comes flying over as I’m berating Old Man Baboa to say there’s a guy taking photos over by the moomoo farm! We all look at Mr Trainer Man with the wide eyed wonder of a child and he lets us have our group picture taken. Woo! See, sometimes things work out well!
Olivine city is nearby. I can smell the sea air and immediately feel at home. I run on ahead and crash into Chat as he comes out of the gym. Apparently there’s a sick Pokemon at the top of the lighthouse? And they give off light? Like Wendy? Mr Trainer Man, we have to go and see if we can help!
FLAG SET
Wait, what was that? Oh… a little rock dinosaur, where did you come from? What’s going on? You’re called Plankton and you’re on the team? Some strange things are happening here… Why did that lady say FLAG SET? And where did she go? What’s going on? Maybe I’m just overtired…
~ I’ve had a quick nap, and that helped a little. I couldn’t fall asleep, partially from wondering what flag had been set, or where or why, and I couldn’t get the thought of the sick Pokemon out of my head. Mr Trainer Man seems really excited to see a yellow haired guy, so I tell him to catch us up. We rush up the lighthouse as fast as Sandy and Tomato will go, with #FATBAT rushing ahead and beating up as many trainers as she can to allow us to make as much progress as possible.
Wait… we have to jump down? But the sick Pokemon is at the top of the lighthouse? Maybe we just missed the stairs? And… and… how do we know that jumping down won’t just get us stranded and stuck? Or break our legs? Oh, Mr Trainer Man, you caught up with us… We’re a little confused… wait, what are you doing?! Oh why does everyone want to jump down? Oh dear, oh dear… No. I have to be strong. For Wendy, for McQueen, and for the Pokemon at the top of the lighthouse that can still be saved. Aaaaaaaaaaah!
Wait… I’m okay? I’m okay! We made it, we all made it! Quick, up the last few floors… Oh… um… you really aren’t you Amphy… A secretpotion? Across the ocean? I mean… I can swim, but how will everyone else get there? Mr Trainer Man, do you have Surf? Where can we get Surf?
We climb into the lift and think about where we could learn Surf; I can’t carry people if we don’t have the HM. At the bottom floor of the lighthouse, we overhear on the radio that there is a member of Team Rocket in the dance theatre in Ecruteak! I had forgotten I had even wanted to go there earlier today! We all run over there; I may not have a fondness for the kimono ladies, but no-one should suffer at the hands of the rocket men! #FATBAT and Sandy team up on the member of Team Rocket, while Aang comforts the Kimono lady. Tomato had to wait outside as he couldn’t fit in the building with Sandy (he offered to stay behind as Sandy would be stronger against Team Rocket’s poison types). I make sure all the onlookers are okay and unaffected, and a kind elderly gentlemen thanks us all profusely, giving us the Surf HM! What perfect timing! I retreat back into my pokeball, exhausted, as Mr Trainer Man treks back once more to Olivine City. We have agreed to wait a night so we can be well rested for our sea adventures; although we are all very worried about Amphy it would do no good if we didn’t make it back due to being too tired!
The sea air wafts into my pokeball as I drift off to sleep. Goodnight diary. See you tomorrow. Today has been a very long day.

Day 4
Morning diary!
