Aiko takes a sip of tea from her cup, but her cup is literally empty, can dolls even drink anything?

Well aware of the hour, seeing the night sky made them feel the urge to go home and finally relax for the day. Eli was about to reject the offer- That’s it until they sense the cup of tea on her hold

Devoid of warmth

…Why would someone pretend to drink tea? It was none of his business to pry into the matter or even draw attention to it, but they could still come to a conclusion from the lack of flesh and digestive system on the doll's body.

The thought that she wanted to spend time with  them didn’t even pass through Eli’s head until then, was tea just an excuse? Can she drink tea?  Is there even tea in the room with us right now?

Shutting that one part of their brain that was plagued with questions, the other had already decided on an answer.
