Tahirah smiled. "Tea it is...!"

Tea was eventually brought out, and Tahirah also still had her cupcakes available for the others to sample if they wished. Usually teatime would include more snacks, but given that it was basically evening-ish by now and all the circumstances of what happened earlier (looking for evil dragon people was a whole feat in itself), the only food available this time were said cupcakes.

The tea available was none other than a soothing lavender - great for sleeping, and would pair okay enough with the cupcakes.

"I hope that you enjoy the tea." Tahirah smiled at Aria, Lena, Nadine and Saiph. "And the cupcakes too, if you wish to partake."

"Hira always enjoyed teatime even as a kid." Nuriel chuckled softly, a grin stretching across his face. "I still remember her hosting tea parties for her dolls back then."

Tahirah's face flushed a little briefly. "That was practice!"

"And you'd practice with me and Arlyn, too. It was fun." A chuckle left him after, before his eyes glimmered. "Lady Aria, we recognize you kinda joined the whole situation late, so I put together a board of things recapping everything so far if you want me to use that to help catch you up on stuff. I'm also saving it for our Luxendarc friends, too..."

“WAITTTT!!!! Stop, stop the ship! We can rest over at that port’s tavern! I’ve been there before, I know it’s good!”

And so Nuriel led everyone to the tavern after they docked the ship. They were on the way back to Azami’s palace so they would be there in time for the engagement ball celebrating Azami and Sean’s engagement, but it was getting pretty dark and needed a place to land for now. They would finish the journey and get back tomorrow.

Nuriel was the one that opened the doors, before his voice boomed throughout the tavern. And that was saying something, given that the tavern was pretty busy with patrons drinking and chatting with each other.

“Loreley!? Hope you don’t mind me and my companions coming through!”

A woman looked to them, dressed in a long, green skirt, long-sleeved white blouse with a brown bodice. Her blonde hair was tied back, though there were a few bangs tucked behind her ear, out of the way of her face.

“Nuriel? It’s been so long!” She came forwards to greet them, smiling. “I hope you’ve been well?”

“Yeah, I’m good. I see you’re doing well, too—Do you have any rooms? We need a place to stay for the night.”

“You’re in luck. We have four rooms left this evening.”

“Perfect. We’ll take all four, split the rooms amongst ourselves. Oh, and we’ll need meals for tonight and for tomorrow morning.”

“I’ll have my ladies prepare the rooms for you. In the meantime, do feel free to sit, order some drinks and your evening’s meals. Enjoy yourselves, all of you!”

As she went to go inform her workers, Nuriel looked to the others, grinning. “I know her—she owns the place. Came through here and stayed for a bit, once, while she was also working here at the time, and now she’s the tavernkeeper!”

“Really?” Nobutsuna blinked. He’d never really been to a tavern before, so this was new. “That’s interesting. How long ago was this when you knew her?”

“We go pretty far back. Over..twelve years, now? Please, excuse me.” Nuriel quickly went towards the back of the main floor, and Nobutsuna noticed that the ladies (and men) back there were more scantily dressed. Probably the prostitutes, he guessed.

“I knew he was gonna buy them drinks.” Tahirah managed, chuckling. “Nuriel does that every time we stop at a tavern for the night. He buys them all one round of whatever drink they want…”

"So, Eros. Rumors are flying around that you're courting the Countess of Melodia herself." Araceli's eyes glinted in the light of the room as she looked him in the eye. "I have to say, that's—quite an interesting choice." (adeadlysong, from Araceli to Eros)

“Rumors are flying around already? I hope they aren’t malignant,” Eros replied to the ruler of the Ilma region, surprised that she would visit him. Despite being a nobleman, he’d help rulers now and then when it came to matters of reading over documents and signing treaties. That’s how he already came to know Araceli Nemesis, but it’s the first time she has mentioned his personal life, that seemed to come in the limelight. 

“Interesting how?” He kept a friendly air around her, despite feeling nervous. It was one thing to convince his mother after telling her that their possible future daughter-in-law cannot bear children, but involving anyone outside his family seemed uncomfortable. But he didn’t want to seem as such, for he certainly did not want to upset the ruler. Not with her reputation.

But- he took this as yet another test. Then again, would the repercussions of going against Araceli worse than being chased by a bear? Probably not.

Tahirah giggled, eyes brightening at the mention of Julian. "Aww, really? That's very sweet of him. Honestly," A hum left her, "He shoudl come visit Melodia sometime. Or else I'm going to track him down and visit him myself once this dragon business is done with..."

"YES!" Nuriel cheered, pumping a fist, before clearing his throat. "Anyway, that's good to know."

"Oh, very good to know." Arlyn echoed, smiling wryly.

Rafaele stared at Tahirah, raising a brow. "You need to introduce me to this Julian sometime, Hira. I don't think we've met yet."

"Godfather, he's not in the sic-a-bear category. Julian is a nice person." Tahirah reassured him as she looked up at him. "Also, he has a fine appreciation for the arts."

Mona looked up at Yew as he gave her headpats. "Feel free to worry. But...I believe I shall come back alive. Do not...worry yourself to death, or else that defeats the point of seeing us again." She stated, before headbutting his hand lightly as if trying to return the favor.

"We'll do our best to keep you updated, Paige, Yew, and Alise." Tahirah hummed, smiling. "Feel free to use the mirror in my office to get back home safe!"

As everyone said their goodbyes (for now) and finished up breakfast, Janne stretched a bit as he looked toward Oddette. "So, have you ever worked directly with Araceli before? All I know is that she's got wind magic and that she enjoys having snakes everywhere and poisoning people."

A soft hum left a young woman as she finished frosting the cupcakes in front of her, beaming as her green eyes glittered in the light.

"Perfect!" She wiped the back of her hand against her forehead, giggling softly. "These will be perfect for the upcoming tea party I'll have with Lady Orzora..."

"Countess?" One of the servants called from the kitchen doorway. "Lady Orzora and her servants have arrived early! Arlyn and Nuriel are currently keeping them occupied with a musical number."

"What?!" Tahirah's eyes widened as she turned to face them. "That was fast. Can you please deliver these cupcakes I just baked to the tea party I have set up in the castle courtyard, please? I'll be at the great hall to meet them shortly."

"Yes, Your Highness!"

Tahirah looked down at herself - apron over a plain dress than one appropriate for company. "I guess I should get changed..."

Yes, she’s absolutely never been in love before. Meg has that right. She tilted her head to the side. “Well, I mean, it got my two advsiors/bodyguards together so I don’t think it’s all that bad...Arlyn and Nuriel are very tight-knit.”

Though she’d really wish they’d get married already! Especially since they’ve been engaged for so long. “I know they want me to get married first before they do, but honestly? I just want them to wed already...”

“I’m not in love with anyone, so pipe down.” Lies. Meg absolutely was in love. She’s just in denial. Always has been. No one needs to know just how far she’s fallen.

Yeah, I do think aesthetics is another form of expression. I think it’s cool. I wish I could make aesthetics and things like I’ve seen many RP partners do, but...one step at a time. First, making simple icons of my muses’ FCs. XD

⛭ Are you feeling happy and inspired right now? 

Inspired? Yes. I get so inspired by the awesome writing of fellow RPers, and music helps as well. 

Happy? Right at this moment right now? I am and I am grateful for that. :)

I find happiness can be hard to feel sometimes throughout the day, depending on things, and RPing is one of the things that can seriously make me thrilled and excited. But at the moment I am the calm sort of happy, which is also nice. :D

⛘ Has someone ever admitted being inspired by you?

Actually, yes! This has happened a few times and I’m like: “Me? Really? Thanks!” 

I’m glad that I am able to inspire people. I think that’s a good thing.

Why? I’m probably biased about this simply because I’ve had huge muse for the Kamiizumis on @pinkpompomsandkatanas, as well as huge muse for Tahirah, Arlyn and Nuriel on @adeadlysong. XD

I am capable of keeping up with the times. Yes, this includes me drinking wine while bitching about exes while blasting Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble,” which I do far more often than I should. Also, I know a good few karaoke places nearby where the Meet & Greet is… Also, I know the modern vernacular. I’m trying to stay relevant, DAMMIT! 

I started getting into poisons at a young age and I’ve done plenty of research. I have a gigantic collection of poisons that I use. If you need advice on brewing new poisons, feel free to ask me. Don’t worry, I won’t bring any poisons into the coven meeting room, but I’ll definitely have any healing potions just in case any accidents happen or someone just happens to be injured. Also, I’ll have (untainted and NOT poisoned) wine to bring on occasion.

I have an ex named Naoto and a son named Nobutsuna. If I am exceptionally bitter one day, it’s probably because of one of or both of them. I’ll try to keep bitching about them to a minimum during meetings, but no guarantees. Good news: The ex is no longer trying to kill me. Bad news: We’re still kind of awkward with each other and trying to get to the point of being friends, so try not to bring him up unless I’ve already done so.

SHAPESHIFTING—Azami can use magic and/or potions to change herself from an older to a youthful form. She’ll probably be present in her youthful form for most meetings as she wants to look somewhat welcoming, appealing, and friendly as opposed to her default older form. However, there will be times when she does stay in her default older form, though that probably won’t happen as much until she warms up to the other coven members.

POTIONS—usually used for poisoning, but she has several non-lethal types of potions she’s brewed as well. She has much experience, as noted in the three random facts section (specifically fact number 2).

I love expressing my creativity. I do this through decorating, but especially through baking and music (and constructing cardboard pirate ships and blanket forts, and I hope you don’t mind those on occasion). More on those two below:

I love food. I do a lot of baking ,and I’m going to be bringing my baked goods to the coven. If anyone has food allergies, let me know! Also, if you have any requests for specific foods, let me know as well and I’ll try to make them to the best of my ability! I hope you don’t mind me summoning a kitchen in the coven room on occasion!

I LOVE MUSIC!!!! I also love dancing, and musical numbers and all that jazz. If anyone’s a music geek, let me know—I would love to play some music with you~! I sing, play piano, and I’ve dabbled in a tiny bit of flute and violin (though not to the same extent as my dads, Arlyn and Nuriel).

I’m a bit of a dollmaker, see. I make all kinds of dolls, but I take a huge amount of pride in life-sized dolls. So…I have a giant collection of them as a result. Yeah. Don’t worry, I won’t bring them in if you’re uncomfy, but if I ever come in looking like I went on an all night bender, it’s probably because I worked a bit too much on making a new doll the night before.

I’m friends with Azami. I know it sounds weird, but it’s true. We met when we were both sneaking around in the forbidden section of a library, joined forces, and the rest is history. How am I still alive, given her liking towards poisons? I have no freaking clue.

Arlyn sighed. "I know, my love, but - "

Cue Nuriel blasting Spooky Scary Skeletons while Arlyn groaned in the background.

"It's not even October yet!"

Tahirah hummed a little bit, smiling eagerly as Cullen took a cookie and took a bite of it. He sounded pleased, for sure, so that was definitely good news!

"You like it?" She asked, smiling. "I'm glad! I find it important that everyone enjoys good food."

And it was hard not to enjoy food when you knew it was homemade and made with lots of love and care, too! She paused, recalling why the other was here - ah, yes, he wanted her to ally with the Inquisition.

"So you're here to request of me to be an ally to you? In what way are you thinking, exactly? Also - how will this benefit us?" She looked toward her two advisors/practically her parental figures, Nuriel and Arlyn. "Will this benefit us?"

"Depends on how it goes. If the Inquisition loses to Coral -Cody? Cola?" Nuriel paused, then glanced toward Arlyn, pushing a few dark strands of hair behind his ear, "What's his name again, Arlyn?"

"Corypheus, darling." Arlyn stated to Nuriel, sighing. The blond was tempted to facepalm himself. "His name is Corypheus."

"That dude! If the Inquisition loses to that dude, that could easily mean that he'll rampage across the land, eventually reach Melodia knowing that we allied with the Inquisition, and then we'll have total destruction to deal with. Which would really suck." Nuriel stared at Cullen hard. "So what's in it for us, and how do we guarantee succeeding in beating the crap out of him?"

Tahirah nodded, looking toward Cullen again as she set her tray of cookies aside on her desk. "Nuriel has a good point. How do we benefit from the allyship and how do we guarantee success?"

He couldn't help but chuckle softly, for she had a point. In fact, he was sure that Leliana had said the very same at some point before. He wondered for a moment how they were faring back home; it was difficult not to be concerned over his own duties he left behind for his deployment here to draw in the countess as a potential ally to the Inquisition. Of course, he had every ounce of faith that his allies could uphold his position in his absence (he was sure Cassandra was having a ball training their men in his stead) but it didn't sate his worries nonetheless. He kept his work close to his heart, yet he couldn't help but agree with his allies that he was the best choice for this mission.

As put together as he was, Cullen failed to stifle an awkward chuckle as he reached over for a cookie, not being used to this kind of offering (in fact, when was the last time he even had a cookie?) "Uh, thank you. They do look very good." And indeed they were, so much so that he moaned as soon as he took a bite, the flavors almost bursting in his mouth. As soon as the sound left him though, his hand instinctually flew to cover his mouth, cheeks beginning to feel warm and flush with color. Oh Maker's sake, did he really just do that?

OOC: I realize that I never specified if specific muses have their own rooms in Melodia Castle, so here's a quick explanation:

Tahirah has her own room to sleep in, and a separate office to work in.

Arlyn & Nuriel share a room despite not being married since they have their own. But they also have their own smaller, designated rooms for crashing in just in case they're in and out of the castle and coming back late.

Rafaele has his own room (and has his own hidden room elsewhere, shhh no one should know about it).

Lukas has his own room, technically, but he also made a room for himself in the actual stables. This way he has much closer access to the horses. Some of the other stablehands found it a little weird but didn't question it since they figured "he's head stablehand, he's just married to his job."

Quinn and the knights of Melodia Castle have their own quarters. Quinn, as captain of the knights, has her own room. Other knights will usually be roommates with each other, and same goes for castle guards and other troops.
