Since we will soon be getting film adaptations of Red, White and Royal Blue and Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, I hope there will eventually be adaptations made for these excellent queer YA novels as well!! 🤞🏳️‍🌈

For The House in the Cerulean Sea in particular, I need the adaptation to be animated! Now that we have films like Nimona on Netflix, I am hopeful that a similar animated adaptation can be made for TJ Klune’s novel. *speaking this into existence*

I just watched Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe and I just have to say I LOVE THAT THE BOOK HASN'T BEEN RUINED. I LOVE THAT THE MOVIE FEELS LIKE THE BOOK.

it's so gentle and warm and kind and beautiful and loving and SO REAL.

It has my approval and that is hard to come by 🫠

we need to get the aaddtsotu film to do well commercially like i cannot stop watching the trailer and everywhere i look people who saw the film last year at TIFF are all saying it's a great movie that does justice to the book and we need to get that film to do great commercially mostly because *eye* want to watch it in theatres and they might get a worldwide theatrical release if it does well in the us so us fans PLEASE watch the aaddtsotu film come september 8 i'm BEGGING

everyone out here talking about heartstopper s2 and the rwrb movie, but there's not enough people going feral about these two idiots

also the casting is top tier

all the characters look simultaneously nothing like and everything like i imagined

and! AND! from the trailer at least, it looks like it'll be accurate to the book

it's the little details, like Legs running with ari, or dante tossing around his shoes (lol) or "i don't think i'm so normal, dad"
