Mannerisms: Yujin usually energetic when he was a kid and likes to play games from arcade and video games, but after his father disappeared he’s become more calm serious. He can be sarcastic here and there and maybe a few jokes but more often being serious. When dueling, he is shown to be more serious and confident on winning the game without any need of support, he then give them advice on how to improve their deck. After his duel with Dennis, he is more social and nicer. After that he decided to go back his usual self when he was still a kid, the one Yujin believe in the dueling style that his mother always believed that they can bring people smile and joy with Entertainment Dueling, making Yujin a bit more loosen up and able to smile and making him humorous and fun.

Strength(s): Yujin is very observant and intelligence especially with dueling, it was because of this he knows what kind opponent his facing of against depending on their decks, personality, and their playing style, his observation also helps him where the Action Card has been landed on the field when the duel starts and thanks with his athletic skill especially his parkour skill he was able not only just to grab more Action Card with ease, thanks to his observation he was able to know which person can be trusted if anyone acting suspicious. Yujin also can be also lucky when he needs the right card to win the duel also a rare card that he sometimes get in his booster pack, his luck also helps getting him out of danger.

Weaknesses(s): Yujin can be emotional and stubborn if his friends and family are in dangers making him always daring to rush into danger without thinking and that makes him lose focus with his dueling almost costing his duel if it weren’t for his luck to save him from all the dangers.

Deck(s): - Dragonic Empire: Think of this deck like in the Kagero from Cardfight Vanguard adding Blaster Blade in them, they specialise on destroying and banishing your opponent’s field mostly monster, it was thanks to this deck that he got the title of “The Dragon Soldier”. - Junk/Warrior Deck: This Deck is like Yusei Fudo from 5d’s, this Deck has many combos and was the first Deck that introduce the Synchro Summon. Yujin got this deck during season 2 of GX when he lost to a duel to Leon Soryu with Judai but unlike Judai who can’t see his cards, Yujin cards has been stolen away by Takuma Saio by using somekind of spells and making Yujin unconscious but during his unconscious his spirits was sent to the Spirit World - Prayer Dragon: This deck is a combination of the Kagero and The Prayer Dragon from Cardfight Vanguard and Dragoncraft from Shadowverse, and this deck are similiar with the Dragonic Empire Deck specialising on destroying and banishing your opponent monster they also good effect for offense attack.

Reputation: In professional life, Yujin is known with two title “Ace of Games” and “The Dragon Soldier”, Yujin got the title of “Ace of Games” because he’s really good at games, he always got new high-scores in every games and never lost one in PvP battle and he always complete the game without a single lost. While with “The Dragon Soldier”, he got this title as a Duelist because his skills got to a point though where he would win every time, something the people around him did not take lightly and refused to battle someone they felt they would lose to. In his personal life Yujin parent and uncle are very known especially his uncle yet like to keep it a secret so that Yujin won’t be bother by anyone just because of his ties with his family.

~ Bio//Backstory: ~ (I should tell that this is going to be a long story//explanation so I hope you all don’t mind. This was inspired by this fanfictions: Yugioh GX: Rewrite by kcufad, Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Remake by mpena23, Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V: Bonds of Pendulum by Frost190, Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V: The Fifth Factor by dvdryms, and Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V: The Fifth Circuit by scififan599 )

Yujin, like Yuya and Yuzu, is supposed to be the Standard counterpart of Asuto who is the best friend and rival of Zarc, but when Zarc went on a rampage Asuto tried to stop him by dueling and when his other friend Ray came and used the En cards to stop Zarc, Asuto caught in the crossfire and because of that he also split with Zarc and Ray but for some reason the Standard counterpart of Asuto somehow maintain some of the Original Dimension probably because of Asuto has some kind of connection to the Spirit World and because instead of four dimension, there are five dimension Standard, Xyz, Synchro, Fusion and Arc Dimension. The Arc Dimension is like the the Standard but they don’t have Synchro, Xyz, or Pendulum yet, they only have Ritual and Fusion summon but they also have some kind connection phenomenon like the Duel Spirits, Shadow Game, The Nameless Pharaoh, and etc. They also have some remnant of the Original Dimension like Kaiba Corps, Duel Academy (GX ver), Duelist Kingdom, D-Wheel, and some stuff from all the series of the Yu-Gi-Oh! (minus SEVENS and Go Rush) which is why this dimension called the Arc Dimension.

Yujin is the son of Atsuya Mikado and Rei Mikado, Atsuya is a well known R&D who used to be work with Leo Akaba on making the Mass Solid Vision back in the Original Dimension and like Leo he caught in the crossfire when Ray used the En Cards to defeat Zarc and was sent to the Arc Dimension with his memory intact, with a new life he decided to work with Pegasus on Duel Monsters and when Kaiba invented Solid Vision and Duel Disk, Atsuya decided that maybe it’s a good idea to show them the Mass Solid Vision and Action Duel from the Original Dimension. When Atsuya told Pegasus and Kaiba about the MSV and Action Duel (minus the whole dimension stuff) they were impressed and approved this project of his and started on making the MSV first then the AD. This research was also the reason Atsuya meet his wife Rei Itsuka a well known Pro-Entertainment Duelist that used to work at the circus but retire when she fell in love with Atsuya and married to him, with Pegasus as his best man, and pregnant with his child.

When Yujin was born, Atsuya was surprised that his child looks like Asuto his former assistant and not only that he has some kind of strange birthmark on his right hand that look like some kind of a head of a dragon, his train of thought soon stopped when Rei is dying from blood lost, her final words that, she is so happy to see her child and named him Yujin after her father and that she will always loved him no matter what, before she passed away. Ever since that day, Atsuya tried his best to balanced his work and raising his son, no matter if his the reincarnation of Asuto, and 6 years later he was able to complete the Mass Solid Vision project and tried to work on the Action Duel project.

At the age of 8, Yujin was kidnapped by some stranger off from street and knock out. When he wakes up he is in a white room filled with nothing except for his Duel Disk, a deck, and some kind a VR goggle, when he wear it, Yujin see some kind of VR Duel Monster game and when he wins the game a drone will flew down with some food and water, curious what would happen if he loose the game, Yujin decide to tried it and loose the game on purpose only to be shocked and was given some medication instead of food, knowing that playing this game will decide whether of his survival, Yujin decide to train and study his deck so he could win more to survive since then he was able to win without a single lost, 6 months later, Yujin and 6 other children of the same age as him was found by a rescuer and was sent to the hospital and reunited with his father, despite after what happens Yujin doesn’t have much of trauma, thanks to his winning streak.

At the age of 10 a few days before his dad disappeared, Yujin was playing duel monster with some of his friends, when he was about to go home he bump into a red-haired kid who looks about the same age as him with a beat up face, thinking that someone bullied him, Yujin decide to try to cheer him up only for the kid to walk away, when he catch up to him Yujin grab his deck and took one card and give it to him, which is said “Star-Vader, Blaster Joker”, as his way to encourage him to get stronger like the warrior in this card and even though he looks evil he really isn’t that bad. A few days later his father disappeared, his uncle, Maximillion Pegasus, take the guardianship of him and since his house a bit far away, Yujin has to transfer to a different school and since then he change from the cheerful kid to more serious and confident especially when it comes to duel monster.

At the age of 14, Yujin finally meet Dennis again after one of his classmates Katsumi Morikawa stole Blaster Joker and wager it in order to have rematch against him after beating him. When Morikawa lost again, Dennis came and beg him to give him his card back, only for Yujin take the card and tell him that this card belong to him now, thanks to Morikawa betting on this card if he loses Yujin can have Blaster Joker. Knowing this Dennis challenge Yujin to a duel in order to get his card back, the only problem is Dennis never played Duel Monster before, heck, he doesn’t even know the rules yet, so Yujin decide to teach him the basic of dueling. When Dennis get the grasp of it, before starting the duel, Yujin gave Blaster Joker back to him since he won’t be able to serious to duel him, the duel starts and in the end Dennis won thanks to Blaster Joker, after that not only Morikawa and Izaki become his friends but also Yujin and Miwa. Duel Monster really changed Dennis lives making new friends and rival, and after that day Yujin became nice and cheerful in his own way and hang out with Dennis and hsi friends.

GX: At the age of 15, Yujin, Dennis, and Misaki decide to enter Duel Academy and if you want to know which rank they are; Yujin and Dennis are in Slifer Red because the color red suits them, Kamui is in Ra Yellow, and Misaki is in Obelisk Blue.

Some in the canon changed a little, like some duel that Jaden are dueling will be replace with either Yujin or Dennis, and Misaki is replacing Alexis place consider that she is in the Fusion Dimension, and Atticus last name will be Tokura and he is Misaki cousin that disappeared; Yujin and Dennis will be joining the Expulsion Duel and tag duel someone else; And the School Duel between North and Central Academy but before the game begin not only Slade and Jagger with the tv crew will be watching the duel but also Kaiba and Pegasus that they are about to show them new type of dueling that Atsuya has been making called “Action Duel” but since they don’t want to waste time, they decide to show them how Action Duel work by making an Exhibition match between Pegasus and Kaiba (Kaiba wins by the way), after the exhibition match the Duel School is about to begin.

Instead of one-on-one duel it’s a 3 team duel and they are going to use Action Duel instead of regular duel, first team got two wins, won the game, the one who is represent Central: Jaden, Yujin, and Dennis, the one who represent North: Chazz, Czar, and Jesse. The first match is Jaden vs Chazz, which Chazz won thanks to “Light and Darkness Dragon” that Yujin give him as a parting gift before he left the Duel Academy thinking he can mastered, much to his brothers dismay that Chazz didn’t use the card that they gave him their about to yell at Chazz until Jaden, Jesse, Yujin, Dennis and everyone in North and Central Academy, including Kaiba and Pegasus, defended Chazz. They’re about to leave but Pegasus insisted they stay and continue to watch the rest of the duel, especially that people around the world are watching and they would definitely won’t be happy if they just cut it off especially what they watch just now, looking up apparently Kaiba stood with the tv crew making sure that they are filming everything, no choice, Slade and Jagger begrudgingly agreed to this not wanting look bad as it is. 

The second match will be Czar vs Yujin, the duel was fast and easy (think of it like Kai vs Kaboom in Cardfight), then the third and last match which Dennis is pretty much nervous right now consider that he is dueling the winner of the championship that gets the “Crystal Beast” Deck, when the duel start Dennis was about to lose, thinking that he has no match against him, Yujin cheering him on and said “Even if the future seems dark, never loose hope! Even a single card can change all the duel, and as long as you believe your deck, it will answer to you!” listening his friends cheering him on makes him forget all the anxiety he’s feeling, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath before releasing, Dennis open his eyes looking more confident with a determined look on his face to win this duel, then suddenly Dennis eyes suddenly started to glow and started to hear voices from his deck and before he knew it he appeared in the Spirit World saw a monster from one of his deck when he blinked he was back in the real world dueling Jesse, which Yujin notice that as he recognize that power, Dennis continue the duel when he draw the card it’s the same one from his vision he started to use his Entertainment dueling and used his catchphrase “It’s showtime! Hola, bonjuor, hello everybody!” and show them his entertainment dueling with using his key card and was able to win the duel making the Central Academy won the School Duel, after that it’s still the same in the canon Chazz decided to stay in his old Duel School.

After the School Duel, is the field trip in the ancient ruins which Yujin, Dennis, Misaki, and Bastion also join in the trip when they were transported into a different world where there are three sun, and instead just Jaden is to be tested, Yujin and Dennis will be tested as well, noticing their hidden power they don’t even know. For Yujin, not only he was able to see and talk to Duel Spirit apparently he has some kind of destiny because of his birthmark on his right arm and they want to test him if he is worthy, and he also have some kind a hidden past he doesn’t even know. As for Dennis he was tested because he has the power of Psyqualia a power like the psychic duelist making their monster and the damage real but also by syncing the wielder's duelist with their monster's actions, which can cause world-changing events on the Spirit World, the power to predetermined the outcome of their duel by imbuing certain cards with the same glow they take on when utilizing the ability. Psyqualia also allows duelists to communicate with their monsters, a power described as "talking to your cards." after that is pretty much the same.

Next is the Seven Stars Arc, which will be named as the Nine Stars Arc because I’m adding Yujin and Dennis in this and adding three Shadow Rider for their opponents like, Dennis vs Kyou, and Yujin vs Ren, the one who kidnapped his father so he could make him a glove that could shock for taking damage for his amusement (like in the V Series), the rest of duel will be like in the story of Yugioh GX: Rewrite by kcufad but the enemy is still the same like in the canon but with Team Asteroid in it. Ren past will be the same like in the V Series, which mean he and Yujin know each other and right before the duel is when he learns that Dennis has Psyqualia and told him to throw away his deck and never to duel ever again but this make Dennis upset because if he do that then he will go back where he used to be, back to being all alone with nothing at all, he doesn’t want to be like that again. When Yujin duel Ren in order to save his dad and unlike Kai, Yujin was able to beat him and bring him back to normal, as well save his dad. With the duel with Kagemaru, instead of just Jaden duel him Yujin and Dennis duel him as well. After that, everything still the same like in the canon adding Dennis and Yujin duel as his way to say sorry to Dennis for telling to abandon dueling since he wants to duel Jaden in his graduation.

In season 2, The Society of Light Saga, like in the first season there will be some changes like the Ultra Rare join the academy, a new transfer student name Ray Shadows, who become Yujin and Dennis best friends, and since Aster only exist in the Fusion Dimension, Lyon Soryu will be the one who replace him. In this season is where Synchro Summon will be introduce because not only Jaden dueled Leon but Yujin as well, and when both of them lost the duel, not only Sartorius spelled Jaden not able to see his card but also stole Yujin deck by transferring their spirits to the blank card that he have been prepare. Jaden being depressed and all that is about to leave to academy but his not alone in this, Yujin also going to join him since he has lost his deck to duel with, when they were transported to a different world, which Yujin thinks its the Spirit World, they would meet not only Neo-Spacian, Aquos but also a man wearing a red helmet with a yellow line tattoo on the left side of his face riding on a red motorcycle, who gifted Yujin his new deck (it’s like Yusei Deck) and that showed the two boys in Riding Duel. After that it still the same in the canon with little bit of changes and all that.

In season 3, Dimension World Sage, this is where they introduce Xyz Summons, in the beginning it still the same but unlike in the canon Adrien Gecko isn’t the bad guy who wants to be king, instead he wants to support his family even though he isn’t the heir so he’ll tried to be the best bodyguard to protect his little brother with Echo by his side, and they join them in the team to defeat Viper and Yubel. When they transported after they defeat Viper, where the Duel Academy surrounded in dessert and in the duel if you loose too much of your duel spirit you become Duel Ghouls. When Jaden, Yujin, Jesse, Adrian, Jim, and Axel going to find a medicine for Blair, they found a submarine but when going there, they were challenged by The Rock Spirit, instead of Jesse dueling him Yujin duel him, it was intense and he was losing but then he heard a voice that they want to help him and they instruct him how to defeat him, when he did, Yujin was able to use a new summoning method called Xyz Summon and using it to defeat The Rock Spirit. The rest is still the same in the canon.

When they transport to the Different World to safe Jesse and instead landed separately Jaden, Yujin, Dennis, Kamui, Misaki, Ray, Korin, Rekka, Suiko Syrus, Bastion, Jim, Axel, Atticus, Chazz, Zane, Leon, Crowler, Hassleberry, Adrian, and Echo landed together, and from there they were attacked by this Brron and his Army wanting to use them as a sacrifice to awaken an ancient card. Yujin and Jaden dueled Brron and the rest are dueling his underling when their about to lose to duel eight different location a certain ancient monument started to glow and each came out a beam of light aiming at Yujin, Dennis, Jaden, Korin, Misaki, Bastion, Ray, and Adrian, and appear before them are blank cards with different symbols on each of them, protecting them and their friends from Brron and his goons, and for some reason they disappear into thin air surprising everyone.

After that fiasco, they met Tania and explain to the how this world work, that if you lose a duel you’ll die, and no one knows exactly where that is, and that is exactly what happen to Brron and his goons since they beat them in the dual, but the problem is they didn’t beat them in the duel. When the group explain to them about a flash of light with a card in it, Tania was surprise that The Eight Legendary Cards has awaken and chose them, while the others are confused as what they are. Tania told them the story of the eight guardians, who protect this world with their legendary cards, each of them symbolize a traits: Yujin has Courage, Dennis has Hope, Jaden has Friendship, Korin has Sincerity, Misaki has Integrity, Bastion has Knowledge, Ray has Kindness, and Adrian has Love, they use the cards to protect from the darkness, in the final battle with the darkness the heroes used the last of their power to sealed away the darkness, and the Legendary Cards are placed inside a monument in eight different place awaiting for their next master to be chosen, which they have today.

After Tania explain the story to them the group decided to go to the monument in order for them to use the Legendary Cards to save Jesse and defeat Yubel, without wasting anytime they decided to split up so they could defeat Yubel quickly. When they made it there, they were challenge by the Dark Army who also want the Legendary Cards, when they dueled all of them experience hardship, especially Adrian when he and Echo tag dueled their opponents and Echo sacrifice herself to help Adrian so he could continue to live and Jaden when he learns that he’s the Dark Supreme King and was afraid to lose his friends because of this, while the other experience it from their past, but thanks to that hardship and their friends they were able overcome that hardship and awaken the Legendary Cards. The rest is kinda the same in the canon just different with everyone isn’t dead in the duel. 

The same with season 4, there will be some difference like Adrian and Bastion return to Duel Acedemy with the gang, and the chosen of the Legendary Cards fought together in season 4 against Trueman, and that they decide to travel together for their next adventure with Jaden, and Jaden stayed for the celebration party with his friends though it ended up into a food fight (imagin the food fight is like in RWBY in volume 2 ep 1), when the Chosen are about to leave the academy, Jaden got an idea that they should make a team name something to call themselves to remember with, the gang thinks it’s not a bad idea so they try think of a name until Yujin suggest to name the team “Team GX” like the Genex Tournament but with different meaning, that GX means “Generation Next” since the era where Yugi the former Duel King and his friends adventure has ended, a new generation has started, and Yujin believes that their adventure has just been started, with this everyone agreed to this and named themselves Team GX and after that, they started they seperate way with the Legends go on an adventure while the rest has gone to do their seperate ways.

Arc-V:   This started a year after GX and a few days before the anime started, when the Legends are in the middle of their adventure when suddenly the Legendary Cards started to glow and when it died down, they were transported to the Spirit World and it’s not just them, everyone in GX including Ren, Leon, Jesse, Jim, Axel, and the Top 3 strong duelist, Yugi, Kaiba, and Joey are in the Spirit World. 

They were confused of why they are here until the Legendary Cards and Takuto, the Guardian of the Spirit World, appear before them and explain to them about the Five Dimension, explaining that this five dimensions used to be one before somehow split into five, each have their own summoning method like Xyz, Synchro, and Fusion while the last two are called the Standard and theirs are the Arc Dimension since most of the Arc Dimension have all the culture including the summoning method. Until the resident of the Fusion Dimension, who called themself Academia, started to invade the Xyz Dimension and razed Heartland. Takuto and the Legendary Cards think they going to invade Arc, Standard, And Synchro Dimension as well and told them not only protect to protect their Dimension, but also to stop the Academia and help the rest of the dimensions as well. They all agreed to this, but sadly only the Chosen can dimension travel consider that the Legendary Cards have the power to do so, the rest of the gang are only here as back up in case if the Academia start to invade their dimension, and hopefully maybe Kaiba able to make a teleporter that can travel through dimension with their sample of their energy in order to be able to help the Chosen.

When the gang discuss this, they think that it would be a good idea for the Chosen to split into 2 people each for the other four dimension, Yujin and Dennis decide to go Standard, Korin and Adrian go Synchro, Bastion and Ray go Xyz, and Jaden and Misaki go Fusion. Once they decide they were ready and started to teleport but before that Takuto give Yujin Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon, Starve Venemy Dragon, Clear Wing Fast Dragon, and Dark Anthelion Dragon, thinking it will be useful to him in his fight against the Academia.

When Yujin and Dennis made it to Standard Dimension they were landed in the City called Maiami City, they were able to get an apartment with money they could get, a few days later they heard about this duel between a Pro-Duelist Strong Ishijima and a 14 year old Yuya Sakaki, interested they decide to take a look on the duel and when they get there, they were surprised the kid dressed as a clown, and the rest of the was interesting until his necklace and cards started to glow including Yujin and Dennis cards as well, and there are not the only one, the rest of Team GX cards started to glow and the next thing they knew half of their monster cards turn into this Pendulum cards and how they are summoned. They were surprised about this and decide to investigate this, when they research about Yuya they learn about his father, Yusho Sakaki, disappear three years ago before his duel with Ishijima making him disqualify and people started to call him a coward and calling Yuya the son of a coward and a lot of students from You Show dueling school left and only few still attend, it’s a mircale the school still standing.

A few days later, Yujin and Dennis decide to walk around and bumped to Yuya when he run away from his childhood friend Yuzu who has a paper fan ready to hit him with three children following her. They introduce themselves and the kids, who names are Ayu, Futoshi, and Tatsuya until they were interrupted by Sawatari Shingo and his goons, who wants a rematch against Yuya but stopped by Yujin, who insulted him for being an idiot which make Sawatari challenged by him and lost. After the duel with Sawatari, Yuya and his friends asking him and Dennis to join their Duel School, which they agree consider they want to learn about Yuya more, plus with this the school won’t shut down.

Everything went the same like in the canon until the showdown against LDS School after the duel with Gogenzaka vs Yaiba, instead a duel with Yuya vs Reiji, Yujin will duel against Reiji and manage to beat him, and after that he met his Xyz counterpart named Nosaka and dueled him which Yujin won and somehow absorb him, then Nosaka explain him about the Xyz Dimension. The rest are still the same in the canon adding Yujin and Dennis involvement until the Maiami Championship, things will be quite different like Dennis meet Yujin Fusion counterpart Hiroto during the Battle Royal tournament, who happens to know Dennis as he instantly hug him and how much he was glad that he was okay, which confuse Dennis, and Hokuto isn’t turn into card and him, Masumi, Yaiba, and Hiroto was able to join the Lancers with Yujin and Dennis making 15 members of Lancers, and Yugo and Yuzu meet Yujin Synchro counterpart, Ryohei who dueled the Sector Security instead of Yugo. 

Hiroto then explain the others that the reason that he and Serena knows Dennis because Dennis used to be part of the Academia in the Fusion Dimension, which surprised everyone but then again it explain about Dennis since he has amnesia when he was 8 before he was adopted by his parents, the reason to that apparently the Professor found out about Dennis power, Psyqualia, and wants to know more about it, thinking it would be useful and thus went on horrible experiment on him. When Hiroto found Dennis on a table wearing some kind of a goggle, that’s when he learns what the Professor used this goggle to make every memories that Dennis has been erased, so he could cooperate him without any disobedience. Hiroto make a plan and was able to escape with Dennis but since he is unconscious it was hard to move around when they were been chased by the teacher but was able to lock themself in a room that has a machine that can teleport through different dimension, Hiroto was able to used the machine and was able to teleport Dennis to the Arc Dimension, while Hiroto was able to escape from the Academia with using his monster to fly away and hidden away from them.

After Hiroto explain everything this makes conflict on Dennis, afraid of what the Academia did to him and his Psyqualia and have some doubt on himself, but Yujin, Yuya, and his friends reassure him that they won’t let them get to him. When they arrive to Synchro Dimension, it’s still the same like in the canon, but I’m adding Bruno in this as well, when Yujin meet up Korin and Adrian after being separated from others. After the two were transported in the Synchro Dimension, they meet Bruno when he needs help with the stuff for his workshop for fixing and improving people D-Wheel, since then Bruno let them stay at his workshop while Adrian helps him with working on the D-Wheels and Korin helps with testing it consider she has some experience in running motorcycle and Riding Duel but caught by the Security when they saw Yujin face mistaken him as Ryohei, meanwhile Yugo join the tournament with Ryohei and Yuzu as his team members.

The rest still the same in the canon, until the Friendship Cup Tournament, I was thinking something like in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Remake Part 2: Synchro by mpena23 instead of having the Lancers and Crow and his friends duel each other, all of the members of Lancers including Chojuro, Bruno, Crow, Shinji, and their friends become one team in the tournament instead, like in 5d’s but only 3 of them can duel each for the round, consider it’s the 15th anniversary of the tournament, they think it’s okay to have the team to have 15 members in them, and the winner of the team gets to duel Jack Atlas but only the team leader can duel him. The Lancers clearly don’t have a choice if they want to make alliances in the Synchro Dimension, while Crow and his friends don’t have a choice as well if they want to free as well in order to see the kids are okay, while Chojuro is excited ‘cause he get to keep his promise to the kids and Bruno wants to help his friends as the engineer of the team.

Roget then suggest to have one of the Lancers to duel Jack in the exhibition match and they chose Yujin, and when the exhibition match start, Yujin and Jack duel fiercely but when Jack summon Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend and Yujin summon Stardust Dragon, both of their birthmark (the head and wing) including Crow (tail), Korin (feet), Adrian (heart), and Ryohei (hand) started to glow and a crimson dragon suddenly appear and showing showing them a vision of the Original Dimension during Zarc attack and the world split into five, when the vision was done, the dragon disappear and everyone was confuse but the duel continue and in the end the duel ended in a tie. The crowd was surprised that someone was able to tie with the King Jack Atlas including the Common cheering for Yujin and that he better to beat him if they won the tournament including Crow and his group, while Jack look at Yujin and told the Security to escort him to his room so he could ask him. 

When Yujin is in the same private room as Jack, he ask him why he is here but Jack ask him a question of where he get that mark on his right arm and that deck, Yujin said he got this mark since birth and he was given this deck but Jack refuse to believe it because only one person got those mark and that deck and he’s dead and the cards were burn in those incident that he cause. Apparently long time ago, Jack used to have a best friend that act like his brother named Yusei Fudo, they’re the best of friend and promise to each other that they would change the system by winning the Friendship Cup by becoming King, but when the final came it was a duel against the two and during those duel Jack got carried away and causing Yusei D-Wheel explode including him in it making Jack won and making the Top to cheer him and the Common booed at him thinking that he’s siding with the Top just so they could acknowledging him for being King. 

This surprised Yujin and understood his pain, why during his duel he look like he seen a ghost when he used his Junk/Warrior Deck especially when Jack see Stardust, then that mean that man he met in the Spirit World was Yusei spirit thinking that he wants him to continue his legacy and told Jack that he doesn’t hold a grudge against him. When he tried explain to him, Jack wouldn’t believe him, won’t listen to him because there’s no way that Yusei won’t hold a grudge against him, seeing that Jack won’t listen to his words then he would through dueling instead and left.

The Lancers, Chojuro, Bruno, Crow, Shinji, and their friends were escort to a fancy penthouse as their base of operation and preparation for the tournament. After that, they all discuss who is going to be the leader of this team, after all, if they win this tournament the leader going to duel Jack. That’s when Yujin appear declare that he’ll be the one dueling Jack, he still got some unfinish duel against him, the other agree to this consider that he was able toe-to-toe against him so they let him become the team leader. After that they discuss who will duel in the tournament consider they are more than fifteen in this group, it’s already obvious that all the Lancers will be dueling for the sake of having an alliance with the Synchro Dimension, minus Tsukikage and Reira consider they are going to help Reiji with something else, which led 11 members of the Lancers are dueling, they all thought about it for the other 4 members and Yujin decided on who will be dueling and he chose: Adrian, Korin, Crow, and Chojuro.

Their opponent for the tournament are the same as the 5d’s except Team Catastrophe, they will replace with Sherry team, Team Revenger, when Roget order his men to kill her parents, her team members are Elsworth and Misty, also Team New World also will be replace by Team Earthbound: Devack, Roman, and Sergey. The one who duels are in this order: Team Unicorn vs Gogenzaka, Masumi, and Hiroto; Team Revenger vs Chojuro, Yaiba, and Shun; Team Taiyo vs Hokuto, Serena, and Crow; Team Ragnarok vs Sawatari, Dennis, and Adrian; Team Earthbound vs Korin, Yuya, and Yujin. After the tournament with was time for Yujin to duel Jack, and during their duel he was able to get through to Jack and become allies.

There will be changes after the duel with Jack, and it will be the same like in the   “Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V: Bonds of Pendulum” by Frost190. When their serperation and Yuzu is not the only one who is sent to the Fusion Dimension but Hiroto and Dennis as well. While Hiroto landed the Fusion Dimension with Yuzu, Dennis landed on the Academia instead, bringing bad memories, and crossed path with Yuri, who has been ordered by the Professor to bring Dennis to the Doctor, when Dennis dueled Yuri, he suddenly remember him, Serena, Hiroto, and another boy playing together and was having fun, when he looks closer on the boy face, he looks like Yuri making him surprised which cause him in his duel against Yuri and was beaten. When Yuri bring Dennis to the Docter, he continue where left off and experiment on Dennis to the point he was able to control his Psyqualia and control him, making him ruthless and cruel during a duel (think of him like Aichi version of Psyqualia Zombie).

The rest in the Xyz Dimension are the same in the story canon of “Bonds of Pendulum” but adding Bastion and Rei and some of the characters from GX since Kaiba was able to make the teleporter while the rest are in the Fusion Dimension. In the Fusion Dimension is kinda the same in the story canon, until the Duel between Dennis vs Kaito but replace Kaito with Yusho instead who tried his best to bring him back which he did by using a trap card that negate the opponent’s attack but let the opponent decide whether he pick to gain 1500 LP or damage your opponent 1500 LP, which making Yusho have 900 LP if Dennis pick the later option, which he didn’t because despite Dennis is under the control of the Doctor, deep inside of Dennis mindscape, the real Dennis is still fighting back the parasite that is controlling him and was able to beat it thanks to the Legendary card of Hope and regain his mind and body back and not only that but also regain all his memories of all his time with Serena, Hiroto, and Yuri.

The rest are the same like in the story canon, and during Zarc revival not only Ray was revive but also Asuto, and with both of their fragments to go and save Zarc fragments as well. Once they defeated Zarc, Reiji decide to continue the Maiami Championship Tournament with the current participant of the Lancers, minus Serena and Hiroto consider they didn’t join the tournament, and Reiji also going to join in the tournaments, all the people from Standard, Xyz, Synchro, Fusion, and Arc Dimensions are watching the tournament as well. In the end, it was a duel between Yuya and Yujin, it was fierce duel, exchanging blows and everything but in the end Yuya was able to win the duel. The rest went back to normal, well normal for everyone, Yujin has a feeling that his adventure isn’t over just yet.

Vrains:  It has been few months since the Dimension War, Team GX and the Lancers having their good and normal life, except Yujin, who still thinking about 10 years ago about the incident called the Lost Incident, even though he didn’t hurt too much, he still wondering about those days and why, until something came out of his Duel Disk, which is somekind a yellow mini person, which freak out Yujin. The figure introduce himself an Ignis, an advance A.I. that has free will. The Ignis explain to him that including him they are 7 of them all based of the Duel Monsters Attributes and one them, the Dark Ignis, has gone missing and have probably been hunted by the Knight of Hanoi who are responsible for the Lost Incident, which surprise Yujin and wants to know more of this Hanoi and Ignis, which said Ignis, who is Light by the color of his body, has no idea consider that he and his fellow Ignis was attacked by Hanoi and almost destroyed their world if it weren’t for the Dark Ignis tried to hidden the Cyberse World with a code, worried the Light Ignis tried to follow him, but got attacked as well as the Dark Ignis.

Don’t know where he is and with little memories he has left, he decide that he wants Yujin help to save his friend and stop Hanoi from destroying his friends. Yujin doesn’t know about this, consider that the incident doesn’t really traumatize him that much, but again he still want to know the truth behind that incident, so he agree to help the Light Ignis, which he dubbed him as “Lightning” to make easier to call him. He was about to get ready until Dennis interrupted him by throwing his bag at him filled with his clothes and some stuff, apparently Dennis overheard their conversation and already getting packing, even though Yujin wants to argue against him tagging along after what just happen in the war, Dennis still wants to help him, plus he also knows how to hack so definitely needs him to help consider that Yujin needs all the help he can get, with no choice, Yujin lets Dennis come along with them to travel to Den City, a place that is known for their Virtual Reality called “LINK VRAINS” created by SOL Tech and the place where the Lost Incident started.

When they get there, they were able to get an apartment and started to get upgrade on their Duel Disk so they can go to Link Vrains using their Duel Disk and without SOL Tech knows their ID and their whereabouts. When they were strolling around, the Link Vrains were being attacked that’s when Playmaker and the Dark Ignis appear, after the fiasco is done he asked Dennis and Lightning if they can hack Playmaker identity and send a message to him that he is not the only one who is searching the truth from that incident as well. When Blue Angel challenge Playmaker to a duel, it was time for Yujin to make his debut, he called himself “Kaizen” and he made his avatar look like Zarc but with different color hair and clothes, as his way of honoring him for being his rival and friend, and thanks to Lightning he was able to gain the "Storm Access” skill like Playmaker, he announce to Blue Angel and everyone who is watching that he is an ally to Playmaker and he is very busy with other work so he ask him to take over his duel against you. Let’s just say Yujin was able to beat her.

The rest of Season 1 is still the same in the canon, while Season 2 is kinda the same but different, since Lightning is the good guy, someone else will be replacing Lightning as the antagonist and that someone will be Jin A.I. the Divine Ignis, Enma. Since there isn’t much card of Divine Attribute monsters they decided to build a deck based on god and myth and somehow was able to make a Divine Ignis but consider that his deck doesn’t have any Divine Attributes it was failed making him incapable to coexist with human unlike the rest of his fellow Ignis, If Dr. Kogami had just ran the simulation on each individual Ignis and their compatibility with humans, rather than all of them in a group, he would see that all of the Ignis, except for one, can coexist with humanity while Enma will end them. And thanks with Yujin and Lightning, they were able to save Earth from Go and able to save Windy with the program that Lightning was able to make. The rest will be the same in the canon, only adding Earth, Windy, and Lightning in this, and replacing Lightning with Enma the Divine Ignis, and all six of the Ignis was able to survive in the final battle against Bohman.

As for Season 3, I don’t really know consider that the 6 Ignis are alive and was able to coexist with human, so Ai doesn’t need make copies of himself and all that, but I still don’t like Queen ‘cause lets be honest, she’s a bitch, so lets make her the antagonist in this season. I think her motives would be like, she wants to use the Ignis in order, not only to overthrow SOL Tech all to herself, but also to be a superior to every company to do her bidding including LDS (just go along with it), so the gang team up and beat Queen and her goons and all that. After the final battle against Queen, she was later arrested when Genome, Baira, and Faust was able to send an evidence to the police of her illegal activities, and everyone went their separate ways like in the canon, as the Ignis are now rebuilding Cyberse World and allies with Akira Zaizen and Reiji Akaba to make peace with humanity, and Yujin and Dennis went back to Domino City and continue their life as usual with their friends.

Hi guys!! I’ve decided to make a oc from yugioh. Man, this is gotta be my longest story/explanation I’ve ever made, probably my new record. I couldn’t decided which one to pick either all of the series since I love all the series, well minus Sevens and Go Rush, so I decided to combine them as well as Cardfight Vanguard, I also make Laevateinn Dragon from Shadowverse into yugioh card and put Blaster Blade and Dragonic Overlord from Cardfight Vanguard because why not?? I’ve just love them so much!! 

This was inspired by this fanfiction: Yugioh GX: Rewrite by kcufad, Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Remake by mpena23, Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V: Bonds of Pendulum by Frost190, Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V: The Fifth Factor by dvdryms, and Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V: The Fifth Circuit by scififan599

I’ve also replace some of the characters from GX consider that in Arc-V that there is a few character in GX, so I decide to replace the GX (not the Arc-V) with the characters from Cardfight Vanguard like: Aster Phoenix as Leon Soryu and Alexis Rhodes as Misaki Tokura. I’ll also adding some characters in Vanguard like Morikawa, Izaki, Miwa, Naoki, Shingo, The Ultra Rare and etc. I was thinking to have Kamui 

I’ve made Dennis Macfield from Arc-V a bit ooc, and his past and personality is like Aichi Sendou from “Cardfight Vanguard” because I love Dennis and I couldn’t help but think of him like that. I just wish he wasn’t the enemy in the anime, so I decided to make something similar as Dennis has been bullied and then first meet with Yujin who gave him Blaster Joker as his ace monster, I was thinking of giving him Blaster Blade but decided to give him Blaster Joker instead because other than the Royal Paladin and the Kagero clan I really like the Link Joker clan ‘cause they are so cool especially the Lock ability, so I decided to replace his Entermage Deck with the Star-Vader Deck instead.

And I know what you are all thinking, there’s no such thing as a deck full of Divine Attributes monster, but think that Jin deck is fill with god like monsters, plus this is a great way of how Enma is an incomplete Ignis.

If you are wondering about the Legendary Cards and the symbolizing, then yes, they are based of the crest of Digimon but different symbols, and the cards are based on the Shadowverse cards, here is the Chosen of the Legendadry Cards:

I honestly will probably keep it ambiguous. Mainly because I have to many options (I’ve talked about the fist two in more detail here)

1) past lives.

Prince Haou knew the Crystal Protector.

The Crystal Protector is Jesse’s past life that protected the Crystal Beast with the help of the Gem Knights. You can have fun cannon of how he earned the loyalty of the knights.

Very basic. Very fun.

2) Jesse did have a past life but Crystal protector was his Ka.

Just like how mama could summon the Dark Magician Girl, Jesse’s past life could summon Crystal Protector.

Same as above with a different flavor. This keeps Jesse, well Jesse and the duel spirit a duel spirit.

3)Arc V chaos.

Arc V fascinates me. I need to watch it in full but the fact that all the prior spinoffs get their own dimension and that characters from those shows play a part in Arc V’s plot makes it very fun to play with

Cause where were Jaden, Yusei, and Yuma? (I haven’t watched Zexal)

Some people have pointed you that Yuya’s Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician look like Yusei and Jaden. But I will let you decide

However the fact that both are pendulum cards just like

It didn’t matter if Crystal protector is Jesse’s past life (though it think it’s tied to him) the Crystal protector and Crystal master cards can’t exist in universe until Arc V.

Maybe when the world got split and created the separate dimensions the main characters were stuck somewhere in between. The only way for them to help would be for their will to be made into new cards (pendulum cards)

And if Jesse has been traveling with Jaden you could reason that Jesse was pushed into the same place as the protagonists. The Crystal Protector and Crystal Vanguard being extensions of his will trying to help fix the world (I know no one in the cast uses the Crystal beast and they were just fun support but this is all theorizing any way)

Endymion - my Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V OC - Fusion Dimension Endymion is a talented duelist from Academia who is chosen to carry out a special mission in the Xyz dimension. After unknowingly being implanted with an experimental mind-control chip, Endymion serves as the vanguard for Academia's invasion of Heartland City and wreaks havoc among it's citizens as he defeats one after the other. His rampage is quelled when he runs into Kaito Tenjo, a skilled Xyz user who challenges him to a duel and nearly defeats him. During the battle, the chip implanted in Endymion's brain is damaged, relinquishing it's control over him as Endymion realizes what he has done. Seeking to make amends, Endymion joins Kaito and a handful of other Heartland duelists to fight back against Academia's invading forces. While he is content to fight back against his former allies, Endymion hopes more than anything to reunite with his dearest friend and mentor, Serena. He embarks on a journey across the dimensions to reunite with her once more but his quest comes to a bitter end when Serena merges with Yuzu, Rin and Ruri. Endymion uses a Ritual Beast Deck focused on Fusion summoning, though he eventually incorporates Xyz and Pendulum Monsters into his deck. The bandana he wears around his neck is actually one of Serena's hair ribbons - a memento given to him before he left for Xyz as a reminder of what she has taught him and to come back safely. Endymion is a direct reference to the story of Selene and Endymion from Greek Mythology, hence his ship with Serena.

She seemed chill at first, but I noticed how nasty she became in 2015 when she insulted Arc-V and 5D's for their plot holes while refusing to acknowledge Zexal's flaws, likely because she was trying to be edgy. I also heard she had a toxic reputation due to her overly rancid attitude toward other people's happiness.

it's a mantra she's had to repeat to herself for what feels like hours. days, even, considering how long they'd been down there. although julia prides herself on showing a certain amount of understanding, nordic makes it so difficult sometimes. grumpy and full of nothing but complaints, patronizing and stubborn—

well, every moment around nordic is arduous, to say the least.

taking a deep breath, julia pushes herself to her feet. she will not sit here and do nothing; not while her fellow guardian is in danger. (she also is not a good girl, and even if she was, he does not get to call her that. she is not his pet. she is not a pup.) even if he can handle himself, she will always be his backup.

"the only thing anyone can learn from you is how to be an absolute schmuck," whispers the titan— only to immediately close her eyes and apologize to no one. that isn't kind. that isn't kind.

so she takes a breath. she stomps a foot, pushes the negative out through her the balls of her feet, and lifts her eyes upwards. be better, be good. be better. nordic is upset. pushing him will take you nowhere.

finished willdress s1. i think it was pretty decent, the last few episodes were a solid 9 but the first half was like... a strong 7 at best. the anime needed an extra 13 episodes that's for sure, but i think the semifinal fights were so awesome, and the new characters were resoundingly great.

the post got a little long so my thoughts under the cut. i spoil obviously.

the episode where it was raika v tohya was pretty great cause it was all the new characters (the ones with actual presence) commentating. i do think -dress's greatest weakness is how blackout are a set piece and its refusing to break them up even a little, but by the third season its like, eh? they definitely contributed to how "okay" the first half of the series felt... i don't care about yuyu, zakusa's aight, i love tomari, tohya is better for leaving, megumi isn't suddenly gonna matter to me but i think it's funny they're driving the jobber angle so hard with her, at least it's honest.

and down in the nitty gritty that's what i enjoyed about willdress the most so far, even if it was very rushed it didn't really force a lot of conventions— raika and yuyu hate each other's guts by the end still but raika acknowledges blackout nonetheless. i do think it is in character for him to concede that much i guess, given he lost. i guess what i'm saying is "things made sense"— i think a big issue with not only vanguard but a lot of anime in general is that it seems like in an effort to resolve things, characters are bent in ways that are kind of irksome. like, i'll never get why anyone got along with kai in the original series aside from idk, miwa and aichi. getting along is kind of pushing it,

but speaking of kai, i find raika quite refreshing because he's a born hater. there's no real excuse for his behavior: he grew up to be an unpleasant person. i think there's a lot of people like that in hobby spaces, people who develop superiority inferiorty complexes because they're chronic tryhards first and foremost. as mentioned before i like that he is still a hater. come s2 i hope he keeps being a stupid bitch boy.

i do think my favorite characters however were urara and michiru. i don't think there is anyone who watched the show who would disagree with my assessment. urara was the beating heart of this season no questions asked. i don't think there was a single moment that had me going "what the fuck is she doing?!" because she was solid. it's quite easy to mess up shrinking violet blorbo characters imo. i would have loved more episodes to flesh out her troubles, but out of everyone, her arc was the most strongly realized and it is satisfactory enough as it is. she achieves both being cute and being a well constructed character all at once, despite the limited runtime alotted to each character. as the beginner character this season, i really do wish she had been the protagonist instead of yuyu... i don't have much to say about him in particular except that i was just going "lol idc" for most of his screentime. for some reason he became a really cool guy for the last few episodes of the season... but i don't consider it. it doesn't feel thoroughly earned. definitely an issue of the anime being one cour. but yeah, she kind of reminds me of naoki from the original in a way, except she avoids the pitfalls naoki had... i do think it was quite cool that naoki SUCKED ASS at vanguard but i loved that urara had a strong win record. the fight that ended her streak was quite good, she didn't feel cheated out of it at all like it usually feels like when a female character loses in vanguard. L O L.

i thought i wouldn't have much to say about michiru, but what a tour de force of a character. THIS is how you do GAR, not whatever the fuck they were doing with danji in season 1. it's not enough to say "this character is well liked and awesome". that's a lot of tell, no show. not to mention danji's actions were rather aggravating and got in the way of the plot constantly to the point where i remember the first season was more than halfway and it was nothing but danji dicking around performing clamp brand cringe. none of that with michiru: he looks like he just got out of bed constantly... and has looked this way for at least a decade. it's kind of amazing. he might as well be 40 years old and i'm subscribing to that idea personally. i was worried that they'd write the character voiced by a famous johnny's idol(!) to be a lame overpowered Thing, but he was incredibly charming. he really is overwhelmingly strong after all, but they made the right call of pushing him to the background and making him a moeblob who does funny funnies and can't read the room sometimes. infinitely charismatic character. he is everyone's ideal, and no one seems to be able to reach him, even though he's so down to earth... i truly do love the contrast. raika being a huge fanboy adds to it because when he finally lost me and fabio kept hooting and hollering and that was probably the only way i think most people were gonna root for yuyu at all— if raika's entire raison d'etre crumpled up and collapsed before his eyes (it happened quite literally too....hehehehe. iykyk.)

small bit for taizo— the only character who feels a little robbed, but i do think it was a little brave of them to kill him off and not let him advance to the semis out of courtesy of him not being one of the non-characters. but i guess that's how the bracket works given he lost two or three times in a row? (i forgot, but he missed his chance thoroughly). i hope his promise to not give up on his dream of capitalism means he'll be in s2 cause i quite liked him, i wasn't as invested in him as urara but it really is a case of feeling bad for the loser, you know.

dunno when we'll catch up to s2 but i hope it's while it's still airing. i like the designs of the new characters :)

The "cool stuff" and entire point of the duel is that Droite woke up Gauche by throwing her heart and passion into a battle she had absolutely no chance of winning. And as established in her duel with Tron Droite is willing to throw everything away for the sake of the men she cares about, she literally says something like "I don't need my own life all I need are my memories of Kaito."

And as someone who identifies femme, I think prior to early ARC-V and arguably, SEVENS, women got the raw side of the deal that the default for the female Duelists was always "Absolutely no chance of winning", which to be very polite, was kinda tacky.

I'd of preferred her raw determination to help someone she care about allow her to keep going much closer to the end than she did.

Like I get what you're saying, but when every girl and women and female identifying entity is always "Absolutely no chance of winning", that sucks. This is that whole 'representation matters' thing.

(This is also where Yoshida and his co-workers get rightly called out on for unintended sexist behavior versus an active misogynistic agenda, and why Cardfight!! Vanguard and Battle Spirits had better reputations at the time with female characters.)

(And Konami get to make Butterspy into an actual Deck, which was a huge issue up until very late ZEXAL that making character Decks was a total shitshow for an actual play, to the point ARC-V onwards began Autocorrect card design to compensate for pre ARC-V card design)

I am a American yugioh fan. Zexal was the first ygo I watched fully. I was exposed to DM zexal from vortex when I was younger. I got into Zexal in late 2019 and that was my gateway to being a ygo fan. I've only seen zexal-go rush and I watched sevens and some of go rush every week. So I'm not a person who is a big fan of the original 3 animes but I still appreciate them. It's so interesting to see opinions from someone who is so against anything Zexal onwards.

Whats your opinions on vrains. I like it but I also think it's not very good. If anything pripara is if vrains was good. I think you would like pripara a lot

Do you watch any other cardfight animes like: cardfight vanguard, future card buddyfight, Aikatsu, Shadow verse, etc?
