Ever since learning about Max moving in with Cheyenne, the Egyptologist has found herself beyond curious over everything that's gone on in the man's life since they last saw each other. She hadn't been expecting for them to be connected through another friend of hers—or through one of life's worst tragedies. Yet, it felt like proof that you never know what life would hand to you. Including moments like now, how Asli had stopped by Chey's place to see her friend for awhile. At first, she thought about surprising her by 'magically' appearing on her couch. Then, after hearing the sound of tires pulling up and checking to see that it was Max, a new idea came to her. Quietly as possible, she ran to the kitchen and hid in one of the lower cupboards. Waiting silently as she heard the heavy footprints enter the house. Once she was certain that he found his way to the kitchen and giving a moment, she quickly opened the cupboard and poke her head out with a cheerful, "Bonjour!" Smiling cutesy up at the man and waving.
