Are you okay with RPing smut?
Yep, if it’s called for in the plot. I’m not about that PWP life though.
Why this character?
Okay, if I’m being honest, my initial attraction was “OMG CAPALDI GOTTA HAVE HIM!” And after that simmered down, I actually read the bio and felt like I could do a lot with his character, like. He has so much room for development, given his position in the company. He thinks he has everything, but what about the dreams he had before the company? I could do so much with it, I love him.

3+ Paragraphs in Character?
“And a 1, a 2, a 1, 2, 3, 4!”
“Now these shoes were made for dancin’~”
The music filled the recording studio, the new band’s music causing everyone to tap their feet to the rhythm. All but Nathaniel, that was. He sat with the rest of the producers, who were far more impressed than he was, a fact that was apparent on his face. It was common knowledge in his studios that he was a difficult man to impress. He wanted true talent, something that would blow the minds of all that came after them. Something life changing.
“Stop, stop, stop.” he urged, waving his hands for them to just quit while they were ahead. He wasn’t leading a high school marching band here, he needed harmony and synchronicity, but all he was getting was a teenybopper garage band with members that were competing to be heard through the music. The music stopped after a beat, the members in the booth removing their headphones to hear him speak.
Pressing the intercom button, he spoke into the mic so they could hear him. “No. This isn’t working.” They were only here to prove what they could do, which was apparently nothing. “Try another studio, mates. This is not the place for you.”
2+ Character Development Questions:
001. What is the character’s favorite band? Why?
“Have you no originality? I’ve been asked that exact question over a thousand times. Every interview, they’re all the same, I swear it.” Nate was swearing under his breath, though it likely wouldn’t have mattered regardless. They usually cut those sorts of things out when they were writing their articles. He couldn’t even remember what magazine this one was for; after a while, they all seemed to mash together. “The answer hasn’t changed for the past forty years. It’s always going to be Earth, Wind, and Fire. They paved the way for nearly every genre of music, touching at rhythm & blues, rock, pop, jazz, soul, disco… They wanted to do everything and then they did it. It doesn’t get any better than that, now does it?”
002. Have they ever been arrested?
“Several times, actually. Nine times, I think. Maybe ten. Back in the 70s, I was in a great deal of sit ins and protests. So I got in a bit of trouble, you could say.” Nathaniel laughed, rubbing the back of his neck as his mind wandered off. His anti-war activist days were a fun part of his adolescence, a rare time that that he wasn’t taking care of his siblings’ responsibilities.
2+ Goals?
One of his goals is to rediscover himself. He used to have dreams and aspirations as a musician once. Now he’s pimping out other artists and profiting from their dreams coming true. Of course, he loves his success, but I find it hard to believe that some part of him doesn’t miss the feel of an instrument in his hand.
Another goal of his is to find an apprentice. He’s older now, and he knows he has little chance of ever getting appreciation for his music. His star days are over, but he wants to find that one person that he can build/mold into something bigger than he’s ever produced before. He wants a prodigy.
