Can I have a scenario of Sebastian and his s\o pull a prank on a girl who has a fear of demons? Sorry if it seems vague.
I had so much fun with this… Okay, err trigger warning for spooky demon happenings!
You had wondered upon discussing the plan with Sebastian if the punishment really fit the crime but right now, as you let the girl into your home, you found that you didn’t really care.
All month, this girl had been annoying you about this and that - have you faxed this to our boss? Have you made the tea? Have you filed this properly? Here, let me do it, you’re not paying attention - and it had driven you to the brink of insanity.
Over-irritated and feeling slightly murderous, Sebastian had chuckled as he sensed your emotions and asked you what was wrong… You hadn’t needed much prodding to open the floodgates and tell him everything, including her fear of demons. The demon’s eyes had glowed a brilliant red and a slow, sure smirk had spread across his face. You had grinned, knowing he had a plan, and it was that which had led you to letting the girl into your home for a spot of revenge, which was always best served unexpectedly…
So here you were, chatting inanely with her. “… Yeah, my husband is a wonderful cook!” You grinned, knowing that Sebastian was listening and wanting him to feel appreciated for letting you have your fun with this girl.
As you led her to the dining room, where dinner was to be served, you saw that Sebastian was stood there, wearing more casual clothes than you were used to seeing him in, with the dinner plates set out and the food already served.
He smiled lazily. “Ah, you are here. Please, sit, and enjoy.” He bowed his head, fighting a smirk, and turned away to open a bottle of wine.
The girl looked at you in disbelief as you both moved to sit down at the table. “He is your husband?” Her tone suggested that he was too good for you and you noticed how Sebastian’s spine straightened minutely. It wasn’t detectable unless you knew the signs of Sebastian’s irritation.
“Yup.” You grinned proudly, smug that this girl was adding fuel to the already roaring fire.
Sebastian poured the wine, ignoring the guest but smiling warmly at you. You winked at him and he chuckled lowly, a dangerous sound.
The three of you ate in silence - Sebastian was putting his into the handkerchief in his lap, pretending to chew - until the lights dipped.
“Uh, what was that?” Sebastian chuckled and put his fork down slowly as you pretended to be scared by the lights. In fact, you were grinning but doing your best to fight it off before you were both rumbled.
“Probably the fuse…” Your co-worker mused.
Just as she said that, lightning flashed and the imagine of a horned being with red eyes flashed up on the wall.
Satisfaction ran through you as your co-worker - her name was Beka, you remembered - screamed shrilly.
“That wasn’t the fuse box.” You sounded scared but as you flicked your eyes towards Sebastian, you were rewarded with the sight of his shoulders shaking and amusement clear in his gorgeous eyes - he was trying so hard not to laugh and you wished he’d let it loose. You’d never heard him laugh before but you imagined it to sound rich and deep.
Thunder continued to roll and lightning struck and you knew Sebastian had played with the elements to set the scene. Ever the Drama Queen. You grinned, without realising, and Beka looked terrified.
“I-is there a d-demon h-here?”
Sebastian chuckled then and his hand snuck under the table to rest on your thigh - it was a message: Don’t be frightened of what’s about to happen. - You snuck your own hand under and rested it on his hand - Never.
Sebastian stood to his full height, his human form dissipating in the air, a viscous black shadow blocking out the light. He reformed as his true self and the bloodcurdling scream died in Beka’s throat as she stood and lunged for the door, which didn’t open immediately but then sprung forward, almost hitting her in the head, before she darted out, screaming.
Sebastian quickly followed her, reaching her before the front door slammed and you heard the words as they drifted back to your ears -
“No one will believe you if you tell them of this night. So tell me, Beka - what will you do?”
His only answer was the sound of the door slamming shut, reverberating in its frame.
Sebastian laughed then and you had been right - it was a darkly rich sound, and you closed your eyes at the pleasure of hearing it.
It looked like Beka wouldn’t bother you at work anymore.
