Josh wasn't normally one to strike up random conversations with people, but this line was a long one. He had ordered his ticket when they first came out, and then sucked the dick of the website admin make sure nothing slipped through the cracks. He didn't mess around when it came Tear You Down.

Luckily the demon in front of him seemed pretty chill, and not an obsessive fan. He had dealt with both seeing them and being on the receiving end of that one too many times to really enjoy associating with them. The incubus smiled back, something resembling a half hearted expression. But his eyes displayed his true emotion, excitement.

"How'd you get your ticket?" He asked, deciding to take a stab at conversation. "This group's tickets go out fast. I know guys who've literally killed for them." His tone was so blasé, showing that he was telling nothing but the truth.

"I don't talk to them anymore, can't see the fuss in killing over a band."

Josh looked at Buzz, analyzing his appearance. He certainly seemed like a hacker, although his look was pretty cute. There was something to be said about his face, and that confidence was attractive. Buzz seemed like someone he could hang out with, considering this line wasn't moving or dying down any time soon.

An office giving away tickets for Tear You Down sounded like a great place to work if that was the company culture, even if he wasn't an office type of person. He couldn't really picture himself with a 9-5. Although if they had good music, Josh supposed he'd be able to bear it. If he didn't know Tear You Down, Josh decided he could at least fill him in on the type of music he would be hearing.

"Josh." He introduced simply, not feeling the need to add any sort of title. "Yeah, Tear You Down is a pretty cool band. Lots of underground show types, their appearances are kinda rare. Not a big fan base, but a dedicated one. So yeah, you scored. They're known for their wild performances that take a lot of effort and they do stunts, hence why they need time in between shows." Josh explained, giving a bare rundown. He had gone to a few of their shows, and all were memorable.

Although, he was curious about another thing.

"Hacking huh? That's what you do in the office? What for?"

“Oh, I won it in some dumb office contest at work. Never even heard of these guys before, but I just had to win ‘em, if only for the sake of winning. But you sayin’ people deadass kill each other for these tickets? Shit, guess I really scored, huh?”

Buzz was already starting to like this guy. Chill guys at concerts are always better company than screaming groupies. Of course, it was easy to tell from the look in his eyes that he was eager for their performance, but he kept it to himself, rather than behaving like one of the hollering animals around them.

“Call me Buzz. Greatest hacker alive and dead. You?”

Josh took a glance at the time on his phone, and at the text Jesse had sent. It looked like he had several minutes before Jesse would need the ride he texted him about. He had been to Ozzie's before, both on dates and to get his brother after his shift. So it wasn't really anything new for him to sit at the bar, watching the acts while drinking the best mocktails the bar offered.

It was fine, really. It wasn't like he had anything else to do tonight. He had hit a roadblock with his latest song and he didn't have a date lined up. Josh had been planning on just chilling at home, so in a way, he was thankful that Jesse had given him the the excuse to go out.

He drank from his glass, watching the act on stage. They were okay, but not a band Josh would listen to. Their lyrics were full of innuendo, which was pretty cool, but there wasn't any real substance behind those innuendos.

And the beat sucked.

Josh suddenly found himself wanting to cut out early and just tell Jesse to find another way home, but he stuck it out, not wanting to deal with the hassle.

It really was just hard for him to give a fuck about what was happening. He wondered where Fizzarolli was. At least the jester was funny.

Well, speak of a demon. Looked like Fizz had decided to grace him with his presence. He took the teasing with a lazy smile, not really finding himself bothered by it. Why would he? Life was too short to be getting offended by things like this. Plus, the comparison to his brother was something he had dealt with a lot. Without the context of teasing.

Josh figured that Fizz must be really bored in order to approach him of all people, which was fine with him. He was bored too, so at least they could alleviate the boredom together.

"Mm no date tonight. Decided to be nice and and pick up Jesse." Although a smirk briefly crossed his face. "And he'll owe me another favor. It'll be a big one too since he made it seem like he needed the ride now." It was always nice to have a stockpile of favors from your siblings, so you could pull it out when the time was right.

At the mention of Verosika's name, though, his smirk went back to a smile. It was fairly recent, in the grand scheme of things, that he had decided to join V's group. It was still a novelty to be referred as one of them.

"When are they not talking? But yeah, she's my boss. Gotta say, way less bitchy than in public. Once you've seen her wine drunk yelling at a reality tv show, you can't really go back." He said, recalling the experience with amusement in his voice.

"What about you? Got any plans after the shows? Got a date or just being a nice host?" Echoing his own words back to him.

USUALLY, in between shows - small breaks for the host - Fizz would be up at the balcony along the sin in disguise. But right now, the sin wasn't there and while it was nice being literally on top of everybody else - it also can get boring. Like right now.

Makes more interesting trying to seek out a familiar face, a coworker - if on the clock or off, just someone to tease.

" Oh lookie what we got here " the jester hummed, just sitting on the bar next to the succubus " If that ain't our little jesse! bwheh" he was just teasing of course. Seen the incubus picking up his brother plenty of time. "What ya doing here? Gott yourself a date? Or being a nice lil bro? Jesse gotta be here for a few hours still" Without having to say anything a drink found its way into there hand

" Or are you preparing for a performing ~ demons be talking, heard you one of Maydays now, yeh?"

alright, i've officially added the poll winner Apple to my muse list! however, the second highest amount of votes was a tie! for both Josh AND Kiki. sooo i added them both! so here are some headcanons/background to introduce y'all to them

Apple comes from a poorer family in the Lust ring, to two failed musicians who tried to gain popularity.

As such, they pushed their dreams onto young Apple, beginning to train her in music, dance, and acting at a very young age.

She was raised by total. stage. parents.

They pretty much micromanaged her interests, what she wore, how she did her hair, etc. She wasn't even really allowed to hang out with other kids, as she was homeschooled.

However, she did long for a different life.

As she grew older, Apple became more and more rebellious. She loved music, but she hated being pushed by her parents and their total control freak nature.

So, eventually, Apple got a new tattoo. The snake in the Garden of Eden around an apple. Symbolizing how she was going to chose to embrace herself rather than her parent's image.

They naturally freaked out, but Apple decided to go anyways.

Eventually, she met Verosika and was encouraged to audition to be part of her group, and she got it.

Apple is cheery a lot of the time and isn't the smartest person around. However, she is very skilled at music and dance. She did start training from a young age, after all.

Apple is pansexual but homoromantic.

She has self esteem issues, mainly due to her parents telling her she's trash without them. She still believes it.

Adores sweets.

Apple isn't easily embarrassed. She has no shame.

She's fairly easy going, unless she thinks someone is trying to control her and then she'll go bananas.

Has a fondness for hair care.

Josh, like Apple, comes from a poor family. However, unlike Apple, he has an older brother, Jesse. (The bouncer from the Ozzie's episode.)

Jesse was very much the golden child, while Josh was sort of the ignored one. Jesse was the apple of their parent's eye, while Josh often had to fight to be recognized.

It didn't help that Jesse seemed to be more talented in everything than him. Jesse was more popular in school, could get any date he wanted, play any sport ever, and teachers loved him. Josh, however, was only good at running, got okay grades, and was a bit of a delinquent.

Josh and Jesse had a good relationship, but Josh was secretly resentful of his older brother. If only because being the younger sibling wasn't fun.

He began feeling so overshadowed that he was tired of pretending everything was fine. Josh began acting out more, getting into more trouble.

Eventually, Jesse and Josh graduated high school a year apart from another. With Jesse having job offers and Josh having nothing.

Josh, like many incubi, ended up turning to sex work because he knew it was the only thing he was really good at.

He spent a number of years that way, working in the sex industry and eventually becoming pretty successful. But really, he was a dime a dozen.

Giving into more of his destructive urges, Josh began to become more reckless and wild, harming himself

However, one day, everything changed.

He met someone while he was on the curb smoking, who took pity on him and decided to unofficially take him under their wing.

They began meeting up for sex, but eventually this demon began to teach him skills that would change his life.

The guitar.

Josh found himself channeling all that negative energy through his music, writing songs and playing the guitar.

He began to feel like he could really shine, and he grew to be really passionate about his music. Josh ended up becoming more mellow and chill, seeking out therapy even.

Verosika actually recruited him personally after hearing him perform at a bar, and after a few drinks, he said 'why not'.

Now, he primary writes the music to Verosika's lyrics and plays whatever instruments she needs.

Josh has reconnected with Jesse, and the two frequently talk.

He's really chill now, a stark contrast to his earlier demeanor. It really is night and day.

Josh really likes the beach, and would rather be there than in the city.

His favorite type of music is either rock or jazz.

Music helped pick up his confidence, and he's now fairly self confident.

Tends to try and protect younger demons or his other friends, he cares deeply for people.

Must be at a level 30 friend to unlock another emotion from him other than chill.

Any hole is a goal. Although leans more towards men.

Unlike my previous two, Kiki comes from a wealthy family.

However, her parents both knew that as a lower class of demon, their wealth was fragile and their prosperous business could fall at any minute.

This meant that their children had to be trained to be the perfect little heirs and heiresses.

And the picture of refinement.

Kiki, being the oldest of four, had the most pressure on her. Being the heiress to their company, she was expected to be perfect at all times.

While Apple's parents were desperate and emotional regarding her upbringing, Kiki's were cold and efficient.

This was how things had been for generations, as such her parents raised Kiki the way they had been raised.

With the parents being the total Gods, that she was to obey without question.

Kiki was schooled by private tutors, enrolled in ettiqute classes, and given business training.

As such, she learned to turn off her emotions and only focus on being proper and ladylike. The thought of rebelling never entered her mind at all.

That all changed when she was 17, and Kiki was allowed to go to a Lilith concert.

There, Kiki could see for the first time that a demoness could be graceful, ladylike, but also so filled with emotion and passion. She began to get a kind of hero worship for Lilith, researching all about her.

She found out that the Queen was so much more than what she appeared. She was a performer, an activist, so much more than a figurehead.

Kiki began thinking that she wanted to be more.

So, she began to secretly practice her singing. It turns out, she was actually really, really good.

However, she still kept up with the ettiqute classes her parents made her attend.

It wasn't until she was 25 that Kiki finally gathered the courage to leave both of her parents, and there was a huge fight.

She ended up disowned, however, a few weeks later of living on the streets, she found out her parents never altered their will. Kiki was the inheritator of a sizable chunk of their estate.

So, she took all that money and made a life for herself. Singing whenever she wanted and overall learning how to finally live.

She eventually auditioned for Verosika's group, and ended up getting in.

Nowadays, when she's not performing with Verosika, she's having hook ups for fun.

Kiki is a bitch. She isn't really to her friends, but to everyone else, she's a meanie. It's how she was brought up, and she doesn't really see the need to change that part of herself. It helps her survive.

Has expensive tastes, but isn't a snob.

She still maintains her very sophisticated demeanor, but retools it to a more seductive and coy attitude instead.

Did not go to her parent's funeral.

Gets along well with her siblings, is proud that they have taken over the company so well.

Doesn't like the human world much, Hell is perfectly fine.

Enjoys animals.
