for real tho like. i genuinely feel like hlm is just so much more flat if you're not looking at it thru a queer lens. like as much as i joke about it being gay as fuck and despite any intentions (or lack thereof) dennaton had while writing it, playing that game and interpreting the story w the assumption that jacket is a queer man just adds a lot of depth to that game that i don't think you would get otherwise
