I think maybe everyone should cool it with the “weird cult” comments regarding the covert, honestly. It wasn’t that funny to begin with but now that it’s the popular describer it’s starting to become a little uncomfy. No one is forced to join, no one is forced to stay. There’s a ton of parallels between them and real world cultures and religions and I just think MAYBE we need to be a little more aware of what message we’re sending when we say “haha that group of people who are in hiding because their lives were/are at stake and who practice anonymity to survive and follow certain rules that I don’t personally understand or like are a weird cult”.

So my current musical fixation are the Kinks. Past couple of weeks, I've been going through and listening to basically their entire oeuvre. Here, in no particular order, are my recommended tracks (that AREN'T "Lola", "You Really Got Me", "Waterloo Sunset", etc)

"Village Green Preservation Society" - God save Donald Duck, indeed. I wholeheartedly endorse the Custard Pie Appreciation Consortium and the Skyscraper Condemnation Affiliate.

"State of Confusion" - Honestly, this whole album is a banger (gotta love "Young Conservatives", a 'get-off-my-lawn' song about young Thatcherites). 'I don't know whether I'm coming or going / Can't cover up 'cause it's obviously showing... Am I overdrawn, am I going in debt? / It gets worse, the older that you get.' Rock and roll is such a young person's genre, there are a paucity of good songs about the problems of middle age. The music video for this is also great - Ray Davies' facial expressions are delightful.

"The Way Love Used to Be" - UGH SO BEAUTIFUL

"Have a Cuppa Tea" - 'Whatever the situation, whatever the race or creed, / Tea knows no segregation, no class nor pedigree / It knows no motivations, no sect or organisation, / It knows no one religion, / Nor political belief.'

"Shangri-La" - probably the saddest song I've ever heard about upward mobility.

"Lavender Lane" - best song about gentrification EVER. So good. Especially like the musical quotes from "Waterloo Sunset". ("Demolition" off Preservation Act I is also excellent on this topic.)

"Alcohol" - sounds almost like it was influenced by Cab Calloway, very speakeasy. "Holiday" is also good for this.

"This Time Tomorrow" - 'On a spaceship somewhere sailing across an empty sea...' Just beautiful - perfectly combines 'life-on-the-road' loss with 'the-old-ways-are-vanishing' loss.

"Autumn Almanac" - COTTAGECORE ANTHEM

"Celluloid Heroes" - a million times better than Elton John's "Candle in the Wind" any fucking day of the week.

"Some Mother's Son" - heartbreaking anti-war song - the words should be engraved on a memorial.

"Sweet Lady Genevieve" - I understand why Preservation is so polarizing amongst Kinks fans, but I probably fall more on the love than hate side. This song reminds me a little of Stan Rogers' "Witch of the Westmoreland", although much more overproduced.

"Dedicated Follower of Fashion" - I know this is very top 10, but how could I not include a song that starts with a quote from Baroness Orczy's Scarlet Pimpernel, and includes the phrase "Carnabetian Army"??

"Better Things" - 'Hoping all the verses rhyme / And the very best of choruses, too.' This is one of my go-to cheer-up songs. It's really good to see you rocking out and having fun!

Anyway, I should probably stop while I still can (Honestly, I could effuse about Kinks songs for days. And have. My poor husband.). But I have really been loving the Kinks lately.

Book 6: Vil Shatters My Expectations while Riddle Reaffirms It.

Sorry everyone. Last month of the spring semester and I’ve finished. Doesn’t seem real to me. Anyway, spoilers! I also know Harveston is finally here, but I want to get this done before I even think about doing Harveston and rerun of the Fairy Gala. 

I have to be honest, Vil grew so much on me in this book and in Beanfest. Before anyone asks, I know there are games for everyone and anyone, but much like Idia’s states, I was picked on or look down on for my love of it. Seeing Vil, a model and star standing student, enjoying it means a lot. They really said you’ll turn into a Vil stan... 

Azul... He’s not wrong, but man, I have a channel and try this. Stop with the parallels! But he’s not wrong. Look up Markiplier tries to not play Minecraft. You’ll see the stats for Pewdiepie and Jackscepticeye.... It is insane. Also, I can’t imagine him making let’s plays... 

I feel like Jamil would love Final Fantasy, Assassin’s Creed, and Uncharted.

And Riddle’s mother reminds me of my friends’ parents. You wound me, Twst. You wound me. 

Idia really reminds me of my partner, because he does this to me at times. I know I need to study and work hard! I’ll play later! But then again. my video game list is staking... 

Idia is right about this too. I really like this. Again, being a gamer, this is nice to see. Games do not harm you, but they do offer this and a chance to take a break and have fun. Lose yourself in a wonderful setting and talking with the characters.

Usually something I don't know how to draw. Backgrounds - especially such ones where you cannot hide your lack of understanding for how perspective would work on it (so usually anything what's not natural landscape). One day I will learn how to do them...

14. How has your art changed over the years?

Honestly I will just share some of my older arts through the years until now for you to see! Happy that I have a lot of old arts on my DeviantArt account - so I can just screencap them. It's probably one of my oldest accounts online.

I used to be so into Lilo & Stitch as a kid/young teen. It's art from 2012! Made with oil pastels. Didn't end up looking too clean though...

2014. Got some pro markers to use. Apparently it was my idea of a personification of winter.

2015. Not hard to guess I was a Slipknot stan. I'd say I still love their music and won't deny they've been my first musical love in my life. So hold them rather dearly in my heart despite disappointments with some sad reality you always encounter anyways.

2016. Ghost's Papa Emeritus II. Oh well, there was a moment I was listening to this band all the time.

2016 but later. I was inspired by this Slipknot's music video.

2017. Moooore Slipknot content. 2016 and 2017 were the years when I drew them a lot XD Well it's just Clown's edgiest mask possible. I think he wore it when they released their 2nd album?

2017. One more example of that Slipknot driven art of mine, lmao.

2018. Nice, Undertale content now.

2018 again. There was a time Assassin's Creed: Odyssey was released and I tried to draw Alexios. I remember wanting to study face anatomy specifically... with rather meh results.

I’m not the only one who draws with music and I tend to use a mix of LOZ songs and songs from my personal playlist. So basically for this one Imma use songs from my personal playlist because with LOZ songs I tend to just listen to each boy’s OSTs and that boring. Assassin's Creed 1 through Revelations are the light of my life and current fixation. I have many many many thinky thoughts and emotions surrounding Ezio.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn... I will shamelessly admit that all my knowledge is from fic and Xanxus immediately set up shop in my heart and refuses to leave or be quiet for more than a week at a time.

Can you see where this is going?

A crossover that absolutely no one asked for and a pairing that literally doesn't exist.

Ezio Auditore/Xanxus

Quick and dirty, at some point in KHR timeline idk from what I've figured out, the timeline is kinda weird anyway Ezio wakes up in KHR'verse (running thought is he's a mist), picked up by Vongola, Ezio is- it's a lot okay and he hasn't had to struggle like this since he first put on those robes but he has what 30+ years of experience as an Assassin and at minimum a decade of life as Florentine nobility. Muscle memory to play the noble while ruthlessly doing what he do as an assassin.

Insert.

Xanxus.

Recognizes an assassin when he sees one. Tickled pink over how effortlessly this stranger has Timoteo eating out of the palm of his hand. It's really not hard to herd fresh meat toward the(his?) Varia. Unknowingly signing the dotted line to his fate for this fic

(Keep in mind, I know fuck all, and I stan all things w/ overly bamf Ezio, which will be toned down the more I play with this)

Ezio is a suave lil shit, who knows himself and is confident in his own abilities/skin(this flame shit is really fucking with him, and please he would really like to get off this rollercoaster go back to the day where that temple under the Vatican was the weirdest thing he'd experienced but the ability to pull pranks in ways he hasn't been able to since he was a child is a silver lining to this cluster fuck that his life has become).

Xanxus is loud brash bold and seems to have 0 issue letting people know what his opinion is on most? things when not dealing with the politics that come with mafia families. His guardians are diff ofc but it's the impression I've gotten.

I proceed to mush them together in ways I haven't 100% figured out but I need Ezio wearing nothing but loose pajama pants coming up behind a Xanxus who's braced on the railing of a balcony and staring at the sunset or something with expletive leaden introspection, and wrapping himself around his lover and Sky before manhandling him back to bed. and well. Xanxus is like a cat who caught the canary, smug satisfaction, and 0 regrets over anything that happened bc it ended up with Ezio at his side.

okay look, I don't do this but complaining into the void of tumblr at 3:38 in the fuckin morning seemed like a reasonable outlet before- well it'll probably exist in the growing library of WIPs and gather dust unless I actually finish the thing or just leave it as this nebulous idea in my head to play around with on occasion.

Dissecting: Edens Zero Ch. 130-134

I was reading Ch. 83 and found this.

See, I don’t know if Mashima plans his story out or if he develops certain plots on the spot because everything is connecting. “Oh, I could use this later...” Brilliant. Amazing. For real though, I was like damn it’s the Mildian/Sun Jewel arc again (Xiaomei’s battles foreshadowing).

Shura vs Ziggy

It was interesting to read that Shura isn't the biological son of Nero. This leads me to think...what if Shura and Shiki are related? I mean they both have gravity ether and they both were taught by Ziggy. They both are also strong in their own right. We also have the theme from Fairy Tail of Good vs Evil (Zeref and Natsu) but in this instance it would be Shura and Shiki. We also don't know where they came from - their origins. Plus, Nero says that his power was incompatible with Shura but he was able to match with Ziggy's gravity powers.

Later, when the crew of Edens Zero find another relic (Robo Cola cap), they infer that Mother could be a place and a person. I was also thinking that because in FT: 100 years quest, Aldoron was a dragon god but his body was home to 5 cities.

So, if I'm right then, Shiki and Shura maybe are from a city on Mother...and maybe even Rebecca.

I'm noting that Shiki is younger than Shura. When Ziggy was training Shura, that was 15 years ago but, that's also the same time Ziggy found Shiki as a baby....unless Ziggy is lying and he has false memories. 👀👀👀 Is Ziggy truly good or bad? Does Shiki have additional powers like Rebecca?

What is the all-link system? Looks like Shura and Ziggy have the same idea. I think if Shura and Ziggy battle - Ziggy will win. What did you guys think?

Xenolith and the Crew of Edens Zero

I wonder why Xenolith's maintenance is lasting longer. Perhaps it may be revealed in the future. I would laugh if he moved his consciousness/personality data into a younger robot body.

Did Xenolith teach Shiki 'Black Sky?' For me, I feel like in the next arc, when Shiki is facing a really tough opponent we will get flashbacks of his training with Xenolith and him learning Black Sky. Then, he'll perform it against the enemy...which could be Ziggy. So, yes, I think Xenolith did teach him. Could be wrong but we'll have to wait and see!

Both Xenolith and Xiaomei have stated that Rebecca's power will change/save the world/universe.

- Xiaomei (Ch. 64): "She has only just begun to unlock the secrets of Leap’s real power. This power may truly save the universe one day."

- Xenolith (Ch. 132): "Her power is weak…but it is the most special. Special enough to change the world."

I also want to see how Xenolith met Ziggy. So, I'm wishing for a flashback.

I don't know if I put this on a post before or not but, my thoughts are that Ziggy did reach Mother and found Shiki there. He erased the Four Shining Stars memories because something bad would happen if he didn't (like they would get infected the way he is now). So, he did it to save them.

UGHHHH BUT THAT CLIFFHANGER...WHYYYYY - It'll probably blow my mind when it gets revealed.

The Oceans

So cool to see the winners of the Edens Zero character competition featured as the Oceans 6! I'm a fan of all of them and don't you worry...we won't forget Shura's assistant even though she's not part of the 6. However, she might be since Shura killed off Cyca. Yikes.... RIP Cyca

Their designs are so clean!! (Sorry if the images look blurry Tumblr only allows 10 photos per post so I tried stitching them together in Illustrator but I think the file size is too big for Tumblr so that's why it may be blurry but, I hope you get the gist of their designs.)

I wonder what she means by that...I feel like this will be important later. We also don't know much about the other members of the Oración Seis Interstellar. I'm excited to see what their ether gear is...especially Eraser. 👀👀👀 Does his ether have something to do with erasing things? Are they corrupt or good guys? I guess we'll found out soon...

B-Cube

Rebecca has carved 'Edens Zero' onto her B-Cube. Did you guys notice in Ch. 134 that Rebecca's ingrained B-Cube is the same one we see in Ch. 4? That's the scene where there are two robots 20,000 years in the future who find two bodies (a man and a woman) and a B-Cube which we can now confirm is Rebecca's.

The Ships + Other Notable Mentions

LOL I feel like if I was a B-Cuber, I would be an entertainment/fashion channel....basically like Sorcerer Weekly but make it Space Weekly or a cool name like Into the Void. Maybe a play off of 'Cosmopolitan' but shorten it to 'Cosmos.' So many options.

#1 Homura and Creed

I'll say it again...I SHIP IT! I am hoping for some more scenes with them together. He always looks so cute when he blushes <3 He's a Homura stan too hahah. 🥺🥺🥺

Predictions: - Creed and Homura will fight - Creed will protect Homura again - Homura will save Creed - Creed will join the Edens Zero crew

Now, I was reading on a few discord channels that people are comparing Creed to Mest (Fairy Tail). Now, I am really trying to understand this comparison because frankly, I don't see it. Creed has a crush on Homura. That's valid. Also, Creed doesn't just have pictures of just Homura, he has Weisz, Rebecca, and Shiki. He's not creepy like Mest.

Mest was a weird guy when we first met him laying in the pool or eating flowers. Their personalities are totally different IMO. We could talk ages about the age gap stuff but I'm not really gonna go into that.

#2 Rebecca and Shiki

Shiki escaping from his restraints to save 'Rebecca' made me happy lol. It makes me think what he would do if it was Homura or Weisz in that situation. What would Shiki do? Plus, after the simulation was over...we can see Rebecca in awe and blushing.

Then, Shiki is hugging Rebecca and they're both blushing 💕 That's a cute moment ngl.

"I'm not THAT into Shiki." - So, you don't deny that you like him 😉

first impression: I watched the ot forever and a half ago and don’t remember much about boba fett tbh- I was definitely more familiar with the prequels but was too young to understand the connection. for me he kind of just seemed like a dudebro fav character

impression now: boba fett my absolute beloved. he’s a bastard (affectionate) and I love him for it. of all the characters in Star Wars he’s the only one I’m like okay I now see what y’all x reader people are up to…anyways I adore him he’s mean he’s green he’s everything to me

favorite moment: it’s a tie between boba flying across the sky with a broken jet pack in rotj, the “let’s just say they might recognize my face” and him killing bib and taking the throne I can’t choose

idea for a story: I’m not sure how well I could write boba fett but I would love to read more about his relationship to his father and being a clone- as well as his relationships to the other clones. I also adore stories where he explores his identity as a Mandalorian and choosing to dedicate himself to the creed because the galaxy only ever taught him to fight for himself because no one else would

unpopular opinion: hate that he’s a dudebro fan favorite bc they literally don’t understand him. He’s a bisexual king. I also think he’s not a needlessly violent person but a righteously violent one- albeit in his own self-interest. He’s selfish but only in that he doesn’t know how to be otherwise- he still holds himself to a moral code and is protective of the people around him.

favorite relationship: romantically boba fett and Cobb vanth bc nothing is better to me than local crime lord and small town sheriff I mean come on. I mean especially now that they’re both on tatooine. I also adore his relationship with fennec but in a platonic way bc she is a lesbian amen. They’re the epitome of bestie maim bestie destroy bestie kill. Also I’ll always see him and Din as brothers

favorite headcanon: I think in legends Boba helped Leia while she was enslaved by Jabba so that will absolutely always be canon in my heart. also that he respects Luke for beating out Jabba and his cronies, and that he is very close with the Tusken people of Tatooine after they saved him from the sarlaac. I love for all of these it’s like choose one and I’m like no I will list ten thank you ☺️

Hello can i request a matchup for south park? First of all i have short wavy/curly dark brown hair with curtain bangs and brown eyes, tanned skin but not too tanned. I am 5'2 and wear contact lenses. I generally hate typing but i love calling with my friends if im really comfortable with them. I like playing videogames like league of legends, ghostrunner, assassins creed. And i sometimes play vrchat with friends. Im sometimes optimistic and is really into quotes sooo i hope im good at communicating. From what my friends say i can be sassy alot but most of the time its sarcastical well thats what they think. Anyways i play violin in an orchestra im really pro at it. I have two rats and an annoying little sister and a nice mom. My rats are like my children i love them so much and use msot of my money on them. I also generally like kid toys. I like slime a lot. Kid toys are fun to open and sometimes i play barbie with my figures. hehe. I like trolling a lot and pretending to be people. Although just because i seem like i have a normal life i have some cons. I suffer from severe depression & social anxiety + some attention problems. I struggle giving someone attention and listening to a person. Usually people can get mad or sad when i dont listen to them or daydream. I can often forget easily what people tell me due to not being concentrated at it. I also cant listen to someone without moving my hands like cracking them or moving a part of my body. I also usually can ignore someone easily without realising it. I also struggle communicating or socializing with peopple due to my social anxiety :) I got friends and i really open a lot to them but never my problems or anything! I dont wanna be annoying to them LOL. I go to psychology every week. I also go to a place once a month where u meet other people that also got some problems like you! Most of the time i go there so i dont stay in my room and so i can practice communicating with people. dayum bruh i got too emotional writing that. ANYWAYS i get connected to animals REALLY REALLY FAST. You literally cant take me to a pet store and let me look at them or pet them i will love them too fast and start crying for not getting them. I also get attached to people really quickly. I love music A LOT. I like dancepop and love dancing. I also like dressing up pretending im a model and take pictures lol. I like taking photos of beautiful stuff that i see in the streets or city and even nature. I love going camping and i also really like going on vacations. Sleeping is also something i do a lot!! Sometimes when i just wanna go away from everything i tend to go sleep to dream and do stuff in my dreams instead :). Im also a "witch" not really a witch but i tend to do tarot and witchcraft. Ive been studying for it about 3 years so id say im average at it. I also do subliminales and have also been doing it for 3 years! I used to do commissions and get a lot of money from it. I have a part time job at a restauraunt. I try to get as much as money for my rats and myself. :). I have to pay everything for my rats on my own so i need a job for that lol. My fav series are skins, rick n morty, bojack horseman and south park. I also have a smoking addiction im trying to get over :)) but i really think thats it LOL

He would of course enjoy gaming with you, and video chatting if your comfortable. Stan also has a habit of being sarcastic, even without meaning to, so you guys can be sarcastic with eachother a lot. He thinks it’s cool you can play violin and he thinks the amount of care you put into your rats is sweet. He’s a sucker for animals, so this is a given. He kinda shrugs off your love for more childish things, not caring too much but also teases you about it. He totally trolls people online with you, but he doesn’t go too far with it like you might. He doesn’t care that you’re bad at listening too much, since he’s not much of a talker. He has a hard time too sometimes, he usually can just take you back to reality whenever you’re having that issue and he’s quick to realize what’s going on too. He tries to get you to open up more about your problems but understands if you don’t. He can relate to you on feeling attached to animals easily, not so much people though. He can’t say he shares your love for dancepop, but he does enjoy dancing with you regardless.

Okay, so I know it’s Friday not Wednesday, but let’s do a belated WIP Wednesday because I restarted some projects that I feel like people might be interested to know about. For anyone wondering how I’m writing so many things at once...I legit have a fic writing schedule based on what day of the week it is, and I really only write like 250 words a day unless I’m inspired. The whole thing was capped off by him perfectly nailing the landing and catching Wraith when she hit the end of the zipline. She didn't even protest at what was dangerously close to PDA. She still looked a little bit shocked by the whole thing. Elliott felt a little shocked, too. "Shit," he breathed. "That was close, huh?"

And we’re back to working on The Citadel:

It would have ended the war. That was the scary part. If the Militia hadn’t gotten wind of their activities, if BT hadn’t figured out how to take it out, if if if...there were a lot of ifs in war. A lot of uncertainty. Cooper wasn’t the biggest fan of uncertainty. He was learning to deal with it, but it still made him jittery.

Last but not least, with Star Wars fic, I finally figured out how to make this one plot point of The Scavenger work, so the penultimate chapter should be done soon-ish!

Another promise. He was making a lot of those for this kid. It made him nervous, but at least he was confident he could keep them. That was the Creed, wasn’t it? Until she came of age or they found her parents?

If nothing else, Din always followed his Creed. There were a lot of kids who could attest to that.
