when ppl start arguing abt on a video abt how someone makes *their* family's recipe for sweet tea and being like "oh honey i'm southern" man shut the entire fuck up everybody in the south makes tea a different way i'm gonna toss my tea jug at your head

#the way i grew up making tea and the way one of my cousins grew up making tea is so different #and yet i ain't calling her a fake southern for using an iced tea maker or using less sugar #and she ain't talking shit abt me using a pot on the stove top and a cup and some change more sugar than her #(one time i wasn't paying attention and i accidentally put six cups of sugar in the water and she didn't say nothin 😭 but I DIGRESS)#anyways it makes me roll my eyes so hard when ppl are annoying abt recipes if it don't sound right or good to you don't fuckin use it then #thus concludes my pedantic rant of the night #badger grumbles #y'know what i'm gon try that damn recipe bc i'm intrigued
