God folks in the pesticide manufacturing industry are so up their own asses. This is the most annoying call.
#woolly rambles#this woman keeps going on and on about how enviros want to “take away” agriculture and how they don't know that they would starve w/o ag#when its so obvious that at the end of the day all Bayer cares about is the bottom line#they don't give a shit about ag or feeding people or being responsible stewards of the earth#they're not even listening to the enviros or they'd know that their assessment is wrong#anyways fuck it i hope Bayer's crop science division goes up in flames#we use pesticides to a concerning degree and while that might be helping to feed us in the short term it will doom us in the long#and i'm also pretty fucking skeptical about how essential pesticides are for keeping us fed anyways#idk y'all the state of CA - you know the biggest ag state in the US - is confident that they could safely phase out high-risk pesticides#by 2050 and be fine so like idk y'all#i think you're just worried about your bag
