Doing multiple apartment/house viewings in one day (or another very short span of time) gives a feeling I'm not sure how to describe. It's like

House 1: It's not bad! It's a decent size and it comes with the fridge, it's got an extra little bit of storage space too :)

House 4: Sure. This place is a building and it has a floor. Sounds good. My bones are being dissolved in acid.

House 6+: I have moved on from viewing these spaces as "rooms", for what is a room but a prison in which we encase ourselves? The combination kitchen-lounge area whispers to me, but I cannot hear its words. These walls are as all walls I have seen before and all walls I will see after.
