basically athena would distance herself from the greek mafia, become the chief of police, and crack down on the gang activity that rules the town - there’s a lot of room for interesting family drama there (esp. between zeus/ares/aphrodite)

i suppose artemis would come along in this route? a police officer or a detective would suit her much better than a mafia member bc’s she’s got morals a lot like athena’s

apollo would be a playboy with not much interest in the mafia - he’s more interested in living his life in luxury and lazing about than doing dirty work

ares is defs gunning for the head position, and he’s willing to kill anyone who gets in his way

zeus is top dog, pos and hades serve as head honchos

medusa would be another police member, maybe she gets severely injured in a set up, athena and her officers leave her for dead by accident and she ends up joining izanami’s group for revenge

ok but like... medusa gets tortured by one of the gang’s henchmen, and she gets acid poured on her face... hence the mask and everything :’))))

arachne would be another rising police officer but one late night at the station athena finds arachne fucking posideon, a noted head of the greek mafia. athena shoots arachnein cold blood, and she’s abandoned by posideon... guess who seeks her out after that? :^)

dunno about the whole spider thing but she’s totally called black widow :^)))))
