i'm like if a person with a normal amount of math skill had a higher understanding of math concepts
#yeah i'm pretty sure i understand what these operations are doing to each other n what the result means#no i'm probably not going to calculate the answer 100% correctly if given a problem bc i'm riddled w/careless errors (adhd)#the worm speaks#it takes a fair amt of supervised drilling for me to execute problems consistently well i think which is how i got this far#which is why i suck at math when i don't do the hw even if i can help other people understand what's going on lol#anyway. smthsmth father was a math major who'd teach me abt stuff like set theory when i was a kid#n also watching all those vsauce videos abt v. abstract concepts that are fundamental to an adequate understanding of higher math#every day in calc iii i think abt that one book flatland abt the square in 2d space who visits other dimensional spaces#i've been meaning to dig it out n read again bc it has an interesting appendix i skipped as a child
