Some thoughts and questions about Adventure Time finale
This is going to be super duper long... with tons of words and pictures... so be prepared.
The first thing I have to point out is definitely that amazing background work and details, either in BMO’s place or the dream. The things in the background literally brought up so many memories from each episodes.
Starting from left there are seemingly James Baxter’s beach balls, Ice King’s drum and the famous broken clock. Near the window stands a tiny statue of King of Ooo (not BMO, the wax guy) and a picture of an old Banana Man. Somewhere beneath the window are something look like Lemongrab’s sword, LSP’s star(? and BMO’s skateboard. Next to the door hangs Grob Gob Glob Grod’s helmet as a deco. On the shelf I spot Jake’s favorite mug sticked back in one piece. I don’t know what is up with all the PB-crown but it cracks me up when first seeing BMO’s unfitted crown, it is so cute.
Another view of the pile of mass. Again James Baxter’s beach balls and Ice King’s drum. Other then those are Marceline’s sunscreen and a few stakes lying on the ground. Not quite sure of this but it seems like I’ve seen the hat somewhere way long ago... back to season 1...
Other things such as the rings, the orange stuff in the middle and that box filled with books/magazines with a face that looks like Jake with long hair just don’t remind me of anything... Leave a comment, tell me what those are if you recognize them.
PB’s clock, the one that pops cat out. (It was just so super cute.) Another clock that Finn and Jake own. I’m not sure what the treasure box at the left is nor the license plate... but I just can’t stoping thinking the plate was trying to say something like “sexy lump.”
[Edited]
Mystery solved, the license plate is from the episode “Trouble in Lumpy Space.” Thanks to @zelderonmorningstar for making this post more complete!
Shermy’s wearing Marceline’s shirt and Simon’s glasses. There is a bowl of knives which I believe was collected during the Knife Storm. I believe that “happy birthday” banner was from BMO’s birthday. (Not sure about this.) The little stars at the bottom right corner remind me of the “free magic” episode.
Yet, I couldn’t strike up any memories about the spiky cone-like thing, the pen (next to Shermy), the pictures, and the necklace (both in the back).
[Edited]
So the cone-like thing was actually the Maid! The Maid which first (and probably only...) appeared in the episode “Crossover.” Thanks to @amotleycrew for making this post more complete!
AMO’s body (seriously, BMO, I just can’t believe that you found it...) and seemingly BMO’s heart on the chair. I really don’t know whose arm those are and how the cube on the right got there...
Now let’s get to the dream part. First thing was this weird-looking building. I like to think of it as Candy Kingdom, based on... the location, the river, the shape and everything about it just reminds me of Candy Kingdom.
My favorite part of this scene was that book on the floor. A Finn cake doing “spot the difference” with apparently Finn’s face and Fern’s face on each page.
I don’t know why PB touched her cheeks when hearing the word “kiss” sung by cosmic owl, but it was cute anyway. (Maybe reminded her of someone?)
The fun part comes. That “world’s worst uncle” mug in the wall was just on-point. I’m not sure why there’s an old/dying dog-looking character in the chimney. Not sure if that stands for Jake being a brick... The scribbles on the bottom right says “I’m happier this way Chicle” was quite self-explainable. Not sure what the skull with a clover and hat was. Little do I know about the semi-clock on the left was...
This scene was also very cute. That BRB mote next to the door while Jake was saying “be right back” seems just kind of ironic now. I couldn’t tell what was written on the board, not even sure if that was English... It looks like “navght cere” to me...
Not sure why there are so many license plates in this episode, but there they are again. One “AL2-1C3” and another one written “Arizona A12-3B2.” Someone please tell me what these are...
This scene reminded me of “Magic Man’s” old house and Lemon Sweet’s home. That “goodbye” footman was just so funny.
I spy with my little eye someone doing the “primitive dance moves.”
Was this referring the “King of Ooo” taking control of the Candy Kingdom...? Where everything melts like wax. (Was seen in the episode Hoots.)
Fern and Finn decided to turn into two bears and have a fight...
Feel like seeing bear Finn somewhere before. To be honest, when I first saw Fern, he reminded me of this bear who was imitating Finn. Now it just makes me feel like there’s something fishy between them...
I believe this is where uncle Gumbald cut off all the plum trees in a single night took place. I love this scene mostly because of that lemon-shape container.
Both Finn and Fern’s fear. This really makes me wonder how Finn’s dad is doing... Never heard of Martin since “The Comet.”
One of my favorite moments in the episode. That heart-shape sticker in the back, and that crown-shape drip bag. Is this a sign of Simon eventually leaving Betty? No one knows...
Was it James Baxter that you were trying to imitate? Jake?
I’d say. I’d ship them. Lemongrab and LSP are just so hilarious (and cute together). I’d dig their sassiness and craziness.
I really need to know why and how does Maja have the power to do... literally all this? I don’t know Maja was actually this powerful until... basically this episode... (And how did Betty know about her...?)
Betty’s self-sacrifice... don’t know why this reminded me of Constantine.
PB changed her outfit. My guess was that she’s going on a “post war celebration date” with Marcy.
By the way, this was how short Finn was in season one.
Is that little King of Ooo behind Gunter...?
Besides Hunson’s stylish picture, I also love that poster on the fridge written “Macy free show.”
I really need to know what Gunter was playing for Bubbline... The one one the right might be Ice King, but the other two characters are just confusing...
The Hamburger Hills Cemetery where Marcy had her concert.
Last but not least, two scenes that we've been bombarded during these days. (Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing them. I literally rewatched the kiss scene so many times... and giggle...)

Does that skull Beth was holding belong to Mr. Fox...?
