Look, idk if it's just my aromanticness being what it is, but Kai's sudden romantic intentions towards Alex in S2 E9 of Almost Paradise really feels like it comes from left field with no prior build up.

Like even in S2 e8 on the island getaway it could be argued that she starts to feel something after Alex tells her what he admires about her in the meeting hut, but it just escalates so much so quickly for episode 9

#almost paradise #it just feels rushed? and a little forced #prior to this episode their relationship was very much a friendship/sibling ribbing eachother #then all of a sudden Kai is trying to express she has romantic feelings for him?#its been clear Alex has attraction for Kai (shes a very beautiful woman) but Kai didn't care for him so he stopped trying to flirt and #instead moved into a friendship while definitely moving on and flirting with other women (Ann comes to mind) so idk why they can't keep #it platonic. yk?#anyway still love Almost Paradise and i love how Christian Kane's characters always ends up in a 3 way relationship of some kind
