so when watching chapter black i tend to focus so much on the kuwabara getting kidnapped part of his kidnapping that i forget the bits preceding it but that poor boy wanted to show off his jigento and be useful so so unbelievably bad. like he holds back when told and doesn't bring it up until they're actively engaging the enemy but bro wanted to fight sensui and was like. ears back whining when yusuke told him to stay put. he even did his warrior of love speech when he jumped in to save yusuke and lamented how much cooler it'd have been if he'd summoned the jigento instead. poor guy :< he just wanted to look cool in front of yusuke and contribute
