#went no contact with my brother & his family last night#honestly i should have done it after he voted trump the first time#but i was NOT in a headspace where i was capable of doing that back then#i was holding onto the idea of peace in the family#and the brother i wish i had#anyway i sent him a text telling him that i won't support fascism & I'm going no contact#and he genuinely responded in the most unintentionally funny way#he texted my mom and asked if i had joined a cult#so yeah#a fraying cord eventually snaps#and my relationship with my brother has been fraying a long time#anyway i'm going to be super-indulgent of myself today by eating chocolate and playing DAV
