i've said this before and i'll say it again, the left fucked themselves over when they started using sociological frameworks and theory but not IRL discoursing (literal use of the word) with other folks about how to APPLY those frameworks. discussion is so central to the understand of sociology and how to apply larger concepts on the real world. it ALSO teaches folks the vital skill of being able to discourse in a way that doesn't like... focus on the individual and instead is ABOUT the discussion and the topics itself.

#i mean this so seriously you need to talk to people #it is insane how anti-sex the left has become while decrying the right like #babe you are wearing the same stripes #the kneejerk societally imposed response of 'sex impure' doesn't Go Away because you read a twitter thread you know #it jsut gets worded a different way #to create a moral high ground against a perceived enemy #and for the left that's so often the right and those entrenched in the conservatism which is actively and rn destroying the country #AND it is so often those perceived as different or deviant #deviant being the most reductive term #baby honey we're in a purity culture none of us are immune to propaganda #anyway i'm freak4freak but i still gotta check myself too #anyways #sorry #the state of things is deeply despairing but we must be together with folks and never stop giving a shit!#delete later
