i grew up with the state on my ass, constant threats of being taken away, and white grown ups at school forcing food and clothes on me, meanwhile my mom would be screaming at me that im a spoiled brat whos fishing for material goods cus i can't shut up about how poor we are and that i haven't had clean clothes in months. this happened when i was six. i didn't realize i shouldn't have talked about what was happening at home and that i needed to keep it quiet.

i have no desire to be in that position ever again
