for real tho’ I am not ready for the truth behind the blue night starting next month, because I just know it’s going to be a sad and depressing story (we all do) and yet look at this tricky asshole there, giving us his biggest snake smile yet

#ao no exorcist #mephisto pheles #okumura rin #what we know: yuri and shiro had apparently mutual feelings for each other according to shura but shiro apparently never acted on them #then yuri became pregnant and shiro knew since he went to fetch the killing demon sword from Suguro's dad #gotou is the twins' dad and he was possessed by satan at some point probably before she was pregnant otherwise rin would have no power #unless there is going to be an unknown twist #arthur was a part of the asylum but he got apparently amnesiac because of the blue night; not buying that entirely but whatever #mephy sealed rin's demon heart in the killing demon sword #yukio was born without powers #and shiro probably decided to raise the twins because yuri died during the blue knight and he couldn't kill them #which is something obviously mephy counted on #the special section of the asylum probably wanted to experiment on the babies for their research initially #which is why they didn't make yuri aborpt #maybe the killing demon sword was a backup weapon just in case something would go horribly wrong with the babies?#which is the case since the blue knight happened #killing many people including shima's big brother which is why shima now has that special power of his #anyway i don't like mephy smiling that much because it means his plan is going well but heyy it's not like we don't expect that #i wonder if the illuminati was involved one way or another during the blue night #tbd
