yaaaaay my parents got their special government health insurance coverage that means mom can get her $1500 asthma shots for $25!!

not that we doubt they'd get covered but dad was in such a snit about having to apply for New Insurance that I was worried any barrier would cause him to just give up.

#context: there's special insurance you can get if you have chronic illness/cancer/anything that means you need expensive or tons of meds #yaaaaay canada #anyway mom's prescription for steroids ran out and she really can't be on those forever so i think dad is realizing why she needs the shots #she also got told to use her oxygen 'at least 15 hours a day' including while shes sleeping #so dad is realizing now that maybe she really does need the shots #tbf we all kind of think if she would use her inhalers properly her asthma would improve but it might be too late for that now #anyway don't let your health problems get wildly out of control. like. take your meds properly and actually listen to your drs #no one except my mom actually needs to hear that i know #like her health would never be 100% but she'd be like 60% better if she took care of herself before reaching Crisis Mode for the 5th time
