let me just say I already have my entire premise planned for the Disco Elysium prompt that's already in the lead and it's both heartwarming and painfully self-reflective (for both me and Harry).
#say more sadie#here's me saying more:#Harry taking any kind of prescription medication to deal with the VERY OBVIOUS mental health issues he has is....complicated#It took me ten years to find a combination of medications that work for me and I don't have severe addictive issues or suicidal tendencies#at least not the kind that would have me swallowing a bottle of pills#so imagine someone who DOES have those traits but also DOES desperately need medication to level out the severity of their moods#and/or get regular sleep because those nightmares post-amnesia probably stick with him for like!!!! ever!!!!!#anyway I'm really inspired by another Kim-helping-Harry-with-his-addiction-post-Martinaise-ft-medication fic#and I'm taking some cues and just really want Kim being there so Harry feels more secure he won't do something stupid#and in the process Harry lets down his guard and starts saying the most insane romantic unfiltered stuff#but because it's filtered through Harry and Ambien brain#Kim is completely flummoxed at first by it and quickly realizes that#ONE Harry isn't remembering half the shit he says before bed#AND TWO underneath the metaphors and dream imagery there's something Harry's trying to tell him#and by fucking god Kim has a whole goddamn SPREAD in his notebook about it#anyway there we go there's my fic idea#mental illness cw
