#oof good tags#this is going to sound like a weird tangent but has anyone played Darkest Dungeon?#because Crozier (and to a lesser degree Fitzjames and Blanky) make me think of the stress meter in that game#when a character's stress meter reaches 100 they usually gain an Affliction - some very bad coping mechanism like masochism or kleptomania#that compounds more stress (and occasional outright injury) on the other characters and speeds the decline of the whole group#but to keep it spicy every so often a character will reach 100 stress and gain a Virtue instead:#a new personality trait that lifts others instead#and Crozier's whole deal after he gets sober just reminds me of that. everyone else is falling to bits and losing their sense of self#and he's finally starting to see the point of all the things he held in contempt at the beginning#anyway I think I just talked myself into a Terror/Darkest Dungeon crossover#add that to the pile of WIPs
