Simple orangery hues leak into the room, the sunlight brushing through the glass of the window. The sky is hugging the sun closely, clouds gather far in the distance, clotting together and painting the world with lightning and rain.

However, that is for another time, as the alarm on the dresser blinks and runs bells, blaring annoyingly. Ratio groans, reaches for the damned thing and shuts it off with a forceful slap.

It is 7 o’ clock. He blinks, groans in annoyance again, and is slowly brought to reality. Sitting up, he stays there like that. Barely being able to notice that he's not alone in bed, before he's pulled back down onto the mattress and sleep begins to lull at him again.

He finds his voice, it sounds horrendous.

“..mgh-... Yang, I'd appreciate it if you didn't try dragging me back to slumber.”

The other mumbles something, pushing Ratio up against the headboard of the bed and lays on his chest.

“..you're so warm… Can you stay for 15 minutes?..”

A dramatic sigh.

He cuddles up against Welt, the brunet softly smiling as a reaction. “Only for 5.”

“Give me at least 10, love.” he grumbles, pulling on the younger’s shirt. “We don't spend a lot of time together, and I'm not sure if I'll get the chance to hug you like this again..” he argued, but he knows the other’s weaknesses. His morning voice is everything compared to ratio's.

It's strangely attractive to the other, a faint blush blooms across ratio’s face. “Stop it.” he mutters back, grabs at the brunet's hair, pressing him into a sweet kiss before shoving him back into his original position.

If his husband would like some alone time with him, maybe he'll accept staying in bed for longer.
