#theres a lot of nuance to it but um#“anti-car” does not mean anti-convenience#anti-car means we shouldnt have 100 people driving 10 minutes to the same workplace because there's no bus that takes them there#it doesnt mean you should walk eight miles to the supermarket. cars are convenient and carry your luggage. we just rely on them way too muc#for short commutes that could so easily be replaced with functional public transport!#every day i wake up and mourn the tram system that used to run in my city. its not there anymore because everyone started driving cars
