you're actually so right!! bc canonically he hasn't been able to see her since the night that she rejected him so his thoughts are already consumed by her 24/7, his family is invited to the wedding bc as awkward as it is, it would be a slight not to be, so he's freaking out even MORE, and then she just doesn't show up??? doesn't even give anthony the chance to be all dramatic and object smh??
