Dark colors mostly. But right now, I think it's that dark green-blue you see in a pine forest. Those woods, the sea right next to it, and my friends are some of the things I miss about the Pacific Northwest.

it's nice to see them again as well. last time they spoke was... probably at the little new year's get-together. something like that, anyway.

"one of the places i've been is the cinema. 'cause fast x just released and i love all of those movies unironically. i don't even have my license and i know nothing about cars but that doesn't matter, 'cause at the end of the day, it's about family." and, yes, that's an attempt to channel dom toretto.

"other than that---" now she's back to her own voice again. "---i've been binging xo, kitty. and i've been hanging out with jami, and i've also hung out with archana a lot. she and i have been planet hopping. it's been fun. really fun. tau ceti f is beautiful this time of year, too. i promised my mom that i wouldn't go very far. still got to finish a couple of school things before summer vacation, you know? gosh, i'm almost done. so close i can almost taste it!"

and speaking of which: "what did you do in that other realm? what was the food like?"

it's important because udyati's got a sweet tooth from here to the edge of the andromeda galaxy and back again.

"oh! and vi and i made edible floral art together! i didn't even know that was possible! it was so cool! and he told me about charcuterie boards too and how to make them. i think that's an art of it's own. an art i've yet to master."

It was well past MIDNIGHT. Magnus had not meant to be gone so long. However, things ran longer than he had planned for with the client he saw today. It was always tricky when it came to working with demons. He had also used more magic than he had planned to. He should have called Zora afterwards, but he simply just wanted to get BACK HOME, too exhausted for much else. 

So he isn’t surprised when the other mentions how EXHAUSTED he does look when he arrives. “I’m sorry I’m back so late, work just didn’t seem to want to end today.” He said with a sigh. “You look tired, dear, you should have went to bed already.” He hadn’t expected Zora to still be up when he arrived. 

A small, but tired grin curled at his lips as he reached for their hand to give it a light squeeze. “I will, I’m very tired from today, so I’m sure I will sleep just fine. Come on, let’s GET TO BED, hmm?”

"Well, I'm not too familiar with the eating etiquettes, I'm afraid." Xalanna admitted, looking at the french fries and ice cream in front of her. She have seen some customers who dip the fries with ice cream, which confuses her. Kronk lays back on the cool grass, his massive arms behind his head. The stars above are unusually vivid tonight—like they’re closer than they should be. He glances sideways at Zora, who’s sitting cross-legged, their curls glowing faintly silver in the starlight. “Look at that one! That star over there just winked at you. Not at me. Just sayin'.”

Kronk nudges them gently with his elbow, then chuckles. He shifts to sit upright. He doesn’t understand everything about Zora—not even close—but he wants them to feel safe. Understood. “I’m glad you’re here. And I’m glad I get to see this… with you.” Then, after a beat, he added. “…Also, if you ever need snacks for a star journey, I make a mean sweet potato empanada.” He winks.
