No. 1. — Chapeau fantaisie style Louis XVI, en paille amour noire; passe très gondolée et tout à fait relevée derrière par un volumineux cache-peigne en gros œillets de toutes les nuances. Sur le devant, grand nœud en ruban écossais. Corsage habillé genre chemisette, en soie de fantaisie à dessin oriental d'un ton rosé très doux; plis devant et derrière. Encolure dégagée, et carrée, avec col de guipure crème posé à plat et formant empiècement. Manches bouffantes et très souples, longues ou s'arrêtant aux coudes à volonté, la haut poignet étant mobile.

Grosse ruche autour du cou en mousseline de soie blanche avec grand rabat de dentelle tombant jusqu'à la ceinture, et formant blouse devant pour ainsi dire.

No. 1. — Louis XVI style fancy hat, in black love straw; very warped brim and completely raised behind by a voluminous comb cover in large carnations of all shades. On the front, large Scottish ribbon bow. Shirt-style dress bodice, in fancy silk with an oriental design in a very soft pink tone; pleats front and back. Scoop neckline, and square, with cream guipure collar laid flat and forming a yoke. Puffy and very flexible sleeves, long or stopping at the elbows at will, the upper wrist being mobile.

Large ruffle around the neck in white silk muslin with a large lace flap falling to the waist, forming a blouse in front, so to speak.

Fue el más importante letrista y juglar en lengua alemana de la Edad Media - Walther von der Vogelweide (c. 1100- c. 1147). Pero su legado musical es tan desconocido como su biografía. Solo se conservan algunas de sus melodías. Ahora, el cantante de timbre bajo, laudista y director del conjunto estadounidense Joel Frederiksen y su Ensemble Phoenix Munich presentan un álbum entero de canciones de Walther reconstruidas por primera vez. En estrecha colaboración con renombrados musicólogos y expertos en la música de la Edad Media, Frederiksen y sus compañeros han grabado 17 canciones que ofrecen una fascinante visión de la música vocal de la Edad Media.

Se pueden escuchar canciones de Walther, pero también muchas chansons de trovadores franceses como Jaufré Rudel (c. 1100 - c. 1147), cuyas melodías el juglar probablemente adoptó y adaptó para sus propias canciones. “Cantados y musicados, nos acercamos así mucho más a los textos potentes y sensibles de este artista de lo que lo haríamos si solo los leyéramos", afirma Joel Frederiksen. "Y al hacerlo, nos sumergimos en un mundo primitivo que, después de todo, no parece tan alejado del nuestro".

Con su álbum "Walther von der Vogelweide", Joel Frederiksen vuelve a dedicarse a un gran bardo con su singular voz de timbre bajo. Frederiksen ya había grabado canciones del compositor renacentista John Dowland y del cantante pop Nick Drake para su exitoso álbum "Requiem for a Pink Moon" en 2012. Y acaba de publicar un homenaje a un trovador moderno, el gran cantautor Leonard Cohen, "A Day with Suzanne".

En su décimo álbum, Joel Frederiksen y sus músicos Vincent Kibildis y Félix Verry se acompañan de instrumentos que podrían haber sido tocados por el propio Walther. Entre ellos, la cítola medieval, así como el arpa y el violín. En sus canciones, Walther exhortaba provocativamente a reyes y papas a actuar con honorabilidad. Al mismo tiempo, formuló un nuevo ideal de Minne en su Minnelyrik y puso patas arriba la etiqueta cortesana que se había alabado hasta entonces. De ello hablan también las canciones reconstruidas, para las que Walther bien pudo inspirarse en melodías de sus colegas trovadores franceses. Para subrayar esta conexión entre el repertorio de los trouvéres y trovadores y el de los minnesingers, Frederiksen pudo contar con la famosa experta medieval y soprano Anne Azéma. Su participación en esta grabación añade color y profundiza en la comprensión de las fuentes de las canciones de Walther. Ensemble Phoenix Munich (EPM) fue creado en 2003 por Joel Frederiksen, especialista en música antigua, tras trasladarse a Múnich (Alemania). Desde 2007, el grupo ha presentado una serie de conciertos en Múnich, en el Museo Nacional de Baviera, y ha actuado en los principales festivales internacionales.

La programación de EPM refleja la amplia experiencia y los intereses de su fundador y director, Joel Frederiksen, que presenta música desde el Renacimiento y el Barroco europeos (1500-1650) hasta la América primitiva (1640-1860). El conjunto también ha encargado nuevas obras a compositores contemporáneos.

El director artístico Joel Frederiksen se centra en una programación innovadora y original basada en una cuidadosa investigación. El conjunto interpreta regularmente a partir de copias originales, utiliza instrumentos históricos y afinaciones adecuadas al país y a la época, y se adhiere en la medida de lo posible a la investigación reciente en todos los aspectos de la interpretación. Al mismo tiempo, el objetivo último de la interpretación es la comunicación significativa con el público. Los programas del Ensemble Phoenix Munich son atractivos y pretenden, según dice la expresión barroca, conmover los “afectos” de los oyentes.

I had in mind something completely different when I sat down to write yet another review...but my hand moved itself over the keys and here I am,presenting to you “Vous n’avez encore rien vu” or,in English, “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet!”.

Some introductions are due,before delving into the meat of the plot. The director,Alain Resnais,is un monstre sacré du cinema français, famous during the ‘60s for his Nouvelle-Vague-inspired,ponderous films,rife with experimental narrative techniques,leftist political commentary and often abstract imagery. Spanning decades,his work became radically different from the eighties onwards,strarting with new steady groups of collaborators and exhibiting an interest towards the intersection of cinema and other forms of art,such as music,song and theatre. His films became more personable,more humane, if not less idiosyncratic and divergent from the artistic norms,their premises more approachable and seemingly “mainstream”,but in reality no less complex and alienating. He ressurected cinematically forgotten genres like the french musical comedy of the ‘20s,he adapted international theatrical works and experimented with multiple narratives, elements from the opera and the musical,and the subjective and interactive nature of acting,be it cinematic or theatrical. And thus we are lead to this film,in my humble opinion a maligned and misunderstood masterpiece.

We open with some actors getting phone calls informing them an esteemed playwright and theatre director has died. These are all real French actors, with more or less long and illustrious careers in French cinema and theatre. They are playing themselves,as actors in-universe. All knew the deceased, Antoine d’Anthac (fictional!),all counted themselves his friends. More importantly,all had at some point had a role in productions of his magnum opus, “Eurydice” (heavily based on Anouilh’s play of the same title”). According to his last wishes,they all gather in his secluded estate in the mountains,a dream villa resembling more a theatre set than a house. There,the reason for this gathering is announced : they are to watch a recorded performance of that very same “Eurydice”,put forth by a young acting company, “La Compagnie de la Colombe”,and in the end they are to decide if the effort is true enough to the spirit of his work to merit an official production. Their own experience in their respective roles will help them formulate a correct judgement. They are thus all reunited in the private cinema of the villa,and the butler of the deceased puts on the cassette. The lights dim. They play starts.

The actors of the company are fresh,lively,energetic. They bring to the play the youthful passion and idealistic naivety that suit Orpheus and Eurydice.Of the actors watching,none is young anymore. And yet the sincere,heartfelt performances move them. They remember their own turns in the roles. They refind for an instant their past youth and passion,and with them their innocence of the world. They start to live again through their characters as if this is the first time,as if they don’t know the end of the story. First an older gentleman in the audience,having had in other times a small but critical role (french legend Michel Piccoli) stands up and starts reciting his part along with the actor on screen. Then another,and another,and finally the protagonistic couples (there are two of them,two men playong Orpheus,two women playing Eurydice,and the difference in their acting approaches is in itself a masterclass on the subjectivity of acting,on the way one word can change its implications entirely in accordance with the way it’s being said). They recite at the same time with the recorded performances,they are transported into the action,the action is transported to them,in split-screens,in simultaneous shots,in antithetical movements.Their surroundings often empty or blur into darkness,and nothing exists but them at that moment.And at some point they stop playing,they stop pretending.They act.And then,they are. And the play becomes real life,real emotions,and the illusion is complete.

Sabine Azéma and Pierre Arditi are a more energetic,more hopelessly romantic couple,living and hoping against hope till the last moment. Lambert Wilson and Anne Consigny play the characters with a kind of beaten-down despair that only the young can feel,with a quiet and tender resignation where a last spark of hope burns flickering,till it,too, is gone. The only connection between the two couples is the character of Mr. Henri,wisely played in both old productions by Mathieu Amalric (Death?Fate?Hades?),the only one who knows,and with no hate or malice for the lovers,must lead them to fulfill the roles they are consigned to. The end of the spectacle brings a twist,though if one paid attention,maybe it was only expected that it would end thus. After all,we all know what happens to Orpheus and Eurydice,...don’t we?

There is no review that would be enough for this movie. It is a reinvigorating experience for the audience,like it is for the aged actors of the story. Rich intertextually and thematically resonant, it vibrates with the love of its makers for the craft,for theatre,for cinema,for acting. It is a tribute to actors,to the power that,beyong any director or writer they have over their source material,but at the same time it illustrates through the different acting choices the steady directing hands that give decisive form to all manner of representational arts. It is useless to talk thus about performances,or even direction.They cannot be classified as good or bad,only as that that they should be to tell this beautiful, moving story about the stories we tell,how we tell them and to which hands we trust them to be told. Ignore the ignorance and low ratings it has gotten from the critics,and do yourselves the favour of watching this movie.

Die Geschichte von Orpheus und Euridice ist eigentlich immer auf französisch. Am Schönsten ist sie mit den wunderbaren Rauchern bzw. Nichtrauchern Pierre Arditi und Sabine Azéma (rechts). Im diesem 2011 wahrscheinlich als seinen letzten Film eingeschätzen  (Mais: Vous n'avez encore rien vu) Stück-im-Stück-im-Film-im-Stück-im Film-Wunderwerk versammelte der 89-jährige Alain Resnais bzw. der verstorbene Autor Antoine d'Anthac einige Schauspieler, die in seinen Filmen bzw. in der Eurydice des verstorbenen Autors bzw. Jean Anouilhs mitgewirkt haben, um eine abgefilmte moderne Inszenierung zu beurteilen. Die versammelten Schauspieler beginnen mitspielen, weshalb manche Rollen gleich von 3 Leuten dargestellt werden. Es ist kompliziert.

Bitmeyen Gece

Bitmeyen Gece, alternatif bir tedavi yöntemi denemek için gizemli bir kulübeye giden bir aile ve arkadaşlarının hikayesini konu ediyor. James ve karısı Casey iki çocukları ve yakın bir arkadaşları ile birlikte hafta sonu tatili için Oregon’un ücra bir yerin gider. Bu aslında bir tatilden çok bir arayıştır. Çılgın Baskın, özel bir time girmeye çalışan polis memuru Johanna’nın hikayesini konu ediyor. Polis memuru olan Johanna’nın en büyük hayali, tehlikeli operasyonlarda görev alan özel bir time girebilmektir. R.A.I.D. isimli bu özel tim en yetenekli polis teşkilatı üyelerinden oluşmaktadır ve her gün hayat kurtarmaktadır. Genç kadın hayalini gerçekleştirmek için sloganı “Çağrıma Daima Cevap Ver” olan timin elemelerine başvurur. Fakat bu durum eğitim biriminin şefi tarafından hoş karşılanmaz, zira şef kadınların ekipte yeri olmadığını düşünmektedir. Ancak Johanna’nın babasının bakanlıktan olması sebebiyle kadının ekibe katılmasını engelleyemez. Sakar ve çocuksu Johanna, ekibe girmeyi başarsa bile, bir de sürekli kendisini ekipten göndermek isteyen eğitim şefine kendini kanıtlamak zorunda kalacaktır…

Filmin yönetmenliğini üstlenen Dany Boon aynı zamanda filmin sinir bozucu eğitim şefi rolünü de üstleniyor. Senaryoda ise yönetmenle birlikte Sarah Kaminsky imzası var. Johanna karakterini Alice Pol’ün canlandırdığı filmin oyuncu kadrosunda Michel Blanc, Yvan Attal, Sabine Azéma ve Patrick Mille gibi isimler de yer alıyor.

Dovlatov

Dovlatov, 70’lerin Sovyet Rusya’sında yaşayan ironik yazar Sergei Dovlatov’un hayatının altı gününü anlatıyor. Zamanını eserlerinin yayımlanması için koşturarak geçiren Dovlatov, Sovyet dergileri ve gazeteleri tarafından sürekli reddedilir. Yazılarının yayımlanması için Yazarlar Sendikası’na üye olması gerekir. Gündüzleri üyelik için koşuşturup bir yandan da ufak yazı işleri ile uğraşırken akşamları ise diğer sanatçı ve yazarlarla bir araya gelir. Filmde oldukça üretken bir yazar olan Dovlatov’un yaşamından alınan kesitler üzerinden dönemin kültürel ve siyasi portesi de sergileniyor.

1970’lerde sanatın devlet eliyle baskılandığı bir atmosferde geçen filmin yönetmen koltuğunda 2015’te Under Electric Clouds ile Gümüş Ayı ödülünü kazanan Rus yönetmen Alexey German oturuyor. Yönetmen German ile Yulia Tupikina’nın senaryosunu kaleme aldığı filmin oyuncu kadrosunda Milan Maric, Artur Beschastny, Danila Kozlovsky, Helena Sujecka, Anton Shagin, Elena Lyadova gibi isimler yer alıyor.

Durumunu Güncelle

Durumunu Güncelle, telefonuna yüklediği büyülü dünya hayatı değişen bir gencin hikayesini anlatıyor. Anne ve babası kısa bir süre önce ayrılan Kyle Moore, yeni hayatına alışmaya çalışmaktadır. Yeni bir okula başlayan Kyle içn işler pek de yolunda değildir. Okulda diğer öğrenciler tarafından pek de sevilmemiştir fakat telefonuna yüklediği büyülü bir uygulama her şeyi değiştirir. Kyle’ın tüm paylaşımları uygulama sayesinde gerçek olur. Uygulamanın gönderdiği talimatları harfiyen yerine getiren Kyle mükemmel olarak adlandırdığı bir hayata kavuşur. Artık okulun gözde öğrenci olmuştur hatta okuldaki iki güzel kızın kalbini çalmayı başarır. Ancak bir süre sonra yarattığı bu hayatın pek de mükemmel olmadığını anlar.

Başrollerini Ross Lynch, Courtney Eaton ve Olivia Holt’un üstlendiği filmin yönetmen koltuğunda Scott Speer oturuyor. Jason Filardi’nin senaryosunu kaleme aldığı filmin kadrosunda ayrıca Harvey Guillen, Gregg Sulkin, Brec Bassinger, Maude Green, Markian Tarasiuk gibi isimler yer alıyor. Russ T. Alsobrook’un görüntü yönetmenliğini üstlendiği komedi türündeki filmin müzikleri ise Çılgın Dostlar 3, Kapak Güzeli, Los Angeles’ta Gizli Görev gibi filmlerin müziklerine de imza atan Jeff Cardoni’ye ait.

Ev Kadını

Ev Kadını, babası ve kardeşinin annesi tarafından öldürülmesinin ardından gerçeklikle bağı kopmaya başlayan Holly’nin hikayesini anlatıyor. Karlı bir akşamda, küçük Holly’nin kardeşi ve babası, cinnet geçiren annesi tarafından hunharca öldürülür. Yaşadığı bu korkunç olay Holly’nin yaşamını alt üst eder. Yaşananların üzerinden 20 yıl geçmesine rağmen Holly kabus görmeye devam eder. Eski bir arkadaşıyla beklenmedik bir karşılaşması ise her şeyi daha da karıştırır. Arkadaşı Holly’yi ünlü bir medyumun lideri olduğu değişik, tarikat tarzında bir grup ile tanıştırır. Medyum Holly’ye özel bir ilgi gösterir ve onun yüzünden tüm kabusları gerçek olur.

Filmin yönetmen koltuğunda 2015 yapımı korku filmi Baskın filmi ile oldukça büyük beğeni kazanan Can Evrenol oturuyor. Elvis efsanesinin üzerinden başlayarak hiç dinmeyen mizahıyla izleyenini birkaç karakterin zihnine sokan Gizem Treni, kendi hayran kitlesini oluşturan, günümüz sinemasının en özel yönetmenlerinden biri olan Jim Jarmusch sinemasının kısa bir kılavuzu niteliğinde.
