seeing knuxouge fans upset that rouge isnt gonna be in the next sonic channel art knowing that sonics last minute victory was at least partially caused by me being really annoying about the poll
#ngl part of what fueled me in all that was spite.#over the fact that a lot of people were only voting rouge for shipping reasons#and not putting any actual thought into it beyond that. and she was WINNING.#like sonic was the obvious best choice there. please turn your shipping brains off for 5 minutes#it annoys me so much when people boil these polls down to ''which ship do you like better'' i remember people did it with the amy one too#and when shadow was an option on rouge's poll there were people voting for shadow just because they like sh/adouge#and yes im a so/nknux liker and voted for sonic on knuckles' poll but thats not the reason i wanted sonic to win#liking a ship is just a bonus. not my sole reason for voting for certain characters or wanting to see them interact
