so i have an idea:

anti cupid shrignold.

he does everything a cupid can do but instead of wanting to make people fall in love- he tries to tear them apart.

oddly enough.. it sounds similar to my version? even though they remain a cupid by design and carefully test the crafting of (bow & arrows / love potions) the love they offer has always been inherently dangerous! it’s no wonder their relationships are always toxic rather than serene they’re more like a tainted cupid, cursed to spread a love that’s twisted and harmful, unable to offer anything truly safe or pure. (if you put the horrors of their trauma aside ofc because JESUS CHRIST that lovebug is damaged beyond repairing )

#in general though the concept for shrignold is SMART i think it would work rather well #i mean the love cult.. has always been about love that is. not morally correct technically #and while my version isn't all about “hatred” in terms of how love is presented.. i'd say it's really rather corrupt?#i'm not sure how to put my finger on it but i never saw shriggy as the one to have stability in relationships #either they feed into terrible habits or they give them out based on what they know #(a mix of both ya
