I wish I had a chance when I was a kid/young teen to take pictures of Lincoln Heights Pizza Parlor before they tore it down to build a fUCKING TACO BELL not only because it was a special place to me as a kid, but also, in retrospect, was sketch as fuck and was very liminal.
I remember it never being busy. There was rarely ever more than 4 groups in there at a time, and it was a decently sized establishment. There were no animatronic characters, but a weird ball pit with a castle facade and hole. There were arcade games, but only, like, 4 of them not counting that one game you put a quarter in and hoped it landed in a dump truck that would overflow and give you a bunch of tickets (which I got one time ๐).
It was weird and the vibes were off but the pizza was great and I had fun playing in the castle and the hole with friends and cousins
RIP you absolute legend, I'll never forget you...
