the fool i was, thinking i was done with deform bones, as if i wasn't going to stumble across what might be the perfect jiggle physics tutorial using bones i've ever seen

#soda offers you a can #like the problem with soft body physics is that you kinda have to bake the animations and what have you #and they're tied to the mesh directly rather than bones #which doesn't give you as much control over the movement as i'd like to have with something like quills #(especially in silver's case because psychokinesis and what have you)#so finding a bone solution is effectively perfect from animation perspective #but it also might require me to redo the quills with more bones possibly #and then redo the weight painting Again askdjhakd
