the fool i was, thinking i was done with deform bones, as if i wasn't going to stumble across what might be the perfect jiggle physics tutorial using bones i've ever seen
#soda offers you a can#like the problem with soft body physics is that you kinda have to bake the animations and what have you#and they're tied to the mesh directly rather than bones#which doesn't give you as much control over the movement as i'd like to have with something like quills#(especially in silver's case because psychokinesis and what have you)#so finding a bone solution is effectively perfect from animation perspective#but it also might require me to redo the quills with more bones possibly#and then redo the weight painting Again askdjhakd
