Ok, now I'm curious. How different are the mob skeletons reactions to finding their soulmate and having to share them from their reactions from "Cheating Death"? 

Well, different enough. The main difference here is that their SOULmate isn't on the verge of having their SOUL shattered, and they don't have complete control over them at the moment either. In Cheating Death, everyone thinks Mc is dead, so obviously they're not going to go looking for her. If the Mob boys kidnapped Mc in any other context, there's likely people that would go searching for her and they'd have a harder time keeping her.

Their possessiveness is the same though, they all want her. This is something that'll somewhat touched upon in Bad Habits actually, though not as explicit. The term SOULmate won't even show up. That possessiveness clashes with a lot of things, and some are better about it than others. Or better at hiding it at least.

The Mob boys don't trust really anyone besides their brothers, so they are NOT down with sharing their SOULmate with anyone else. They wouldn't even share a regular datemate with anyone outside of their brother, much less someone they share a SOUL with. They especially don't want to share with different versions of themselves. Some are just better at hiding this fact than others.

coraline existed in purgatory long before god created it in it's own image ; it once lived in it's own pocket of existence , out of sight , out of mind - peaceful , tranquil - as it should be . it continued to be so even as god pulled it into a literal state existence , blooming with life , planets and everything in between . it was like whiplash , going from one extreme to another , but it's change she could work with - after all , coraline is no stranger to gods welcoming themselves into places where they aren't wanted , there's no shortages of egocentricity gods acting like they're the one and only . she was reasonable , and could even admire some of the new details that god added .

things were okay for a while - human souls existing along side her , something she was already used to , with newer creations in between , there was a system , a way to make things work - she was good . though , of course this wasn't going to last , because why would it ? when god made the choice to imprison satan in purgatory, that's where things began to violently crumble, where things stopped working and all things went to complete hell - the light within the realm began to dim , becoming a empty rock where evil happily laid upon and claiming it as its own .

coraline fought back , why wouldn't she ? this was her home long before it was even a thought in god's eye . in the process of doing so , coraline even began to form a strong alliance with the angels that were sent there to strengthen the wall around place to prevent any one from escaping - coraline still held a sort of resentment towards heaven and god for causing such a mess, especially the lack of regard for the human souls that were getting caught in the crossfire , innocent people getting hurt and killed , all because they refused to take things slower , to have an actual plan.

as a result of the mess , coraline took it upon herself to protect any human souls that were still around - a reluctant protector. making sure satan and his army trapped here couldn't harm anyone else . there were loses , they weigh heavy on coraline's shoulders , though she couldn't allow it to blind her - helping to create sanctuaries underneath purgatory, protected and fighting for them to remain undetected by the evil that lurked in the shadows.

coraline's love for humans runs deep - though, she'll deny it until blue in the face, even if her words and actions say otherwise. she cares for souls in heaven, in hell, purgatory - they're just people who lived their lives the way they could, they shouldn't be punished for that ; damned to sin until empty or forced into a desolate wasteland - she'd willingly jump in front of any human if danger was staring them in thenface and they couldn't handle such a threat - a protector in the truest form, though completely pissy about it.
