actually. hold on. realizing that my dragon age elves might have a bit of a pattern going on like. electra surana caring so deeply for camris lavellan but she can't help but be jealous for the life he got to live with their family while she spent her life as an apostate and circle mage before becoming a warden. and then camris lavellan becoming so fond of rhodes aldwir but he can't help but be jealous that they get to have a normal future with their loved ones while a decade of his life was consumed by saving the world and it just spit him out mangled and reborn.

#tldr bc i dont think i ever talked abt my lore: my surana and lavellan are cousins #their dads were twins and also a walking tragedy #there is so much lore there #esp in how electra + her family weren't a part of clan lavellan #but camris + his family remained #but basically just know:#electra's dad was killed by templars before her her mom and her younger sister were taken to the ferelden circle #her mom was made tranquil for colluding with a blood mage (electra's dad)#electra was put in the circle and then her younger sister (who never developed magic) was put with the templars #and then her mom was killed by abominations during broken circle. so uh. a lot of sad shit!#and then camris his older sister his mom and his dad stay with clan lavellan #and all get to live together and basically camris and adaranni grow up barely knowing abt the situation #bc this all 100% haunts camris's dad #and i have that camris only finds out that he even has a cousin during inquisition #through some freak thing with leliana (who was very close with electra and wouldve known what happened #with her side of the family)#anyways. one day i might timeline this out #but basically electra is born outside of clan lavellan in 9:11 which camris being born in 9:16 #(with adaranni also born in 9:11)#with all the [lore] happening. most likely between 9:08-9:10 #and then tldr w/ camris and rhodes:#camris deeply wishes that after the events of inq he could have just settled down with dorian #and go back to clan lavellan #and instead after veilguard he 1) knows that he can never go back to clan lavellan #[which i have a couple reasons for]#and 2) he might be married to dorian already but he can't help but feel. cheated. that it took 10yrs for them to be able #to comfortably live together #electra surana #camris lavellan #rhodes aldwir
