The next doctor, with a bunch of all the denial and repression left over from Thirteen, decides they've had enough of being a myth, a ledgend. Both as "The last of the Time Lords" and as The Timeless Child. Here you go, Master, you're the last of the Gallifreyan Time Lords so you can have that title instead of me, I'll bet you'll have loads of fun being melodramatic about it and you've got that "I'm the reason I'm the last of my kind" thing I had going for a few faces so another parallel for us you love that don't you go have fun.

And (at least from what I've seen from posts about the comics) the post-Ten doctors seem pretty embarrassed about being him and that phase so they're gonna cast off that "Oncoming Storm" title as well, it's not matching the vibes. Up for grabs if you want it, Master, or should we auction it off? Someone would want that title so the gavel is a banging!

And so, no more myth, no more ledgend they've had enough of that and the trauma which comes from being a Protagonist TM it's time to become Silly Guy again and ignore all the PTSD and other issues repression time once more!

i love seeing the difference between nuwho and classic who bc the revived eras like 'he just saved the universe for the 5th time, the lonely god, there are entire galaxies afraid of him' and then classic whos like 'in today's episode our favourite silly guy the doctor runs over a dude with a boat and beats up like 20 people with his bare fists. stay tuned for more'
