I think the funniest thing about 95% of Aamon's ships is that he will have to go to jail for them, literally.

Going to the human surface world is ILLEGAL. And his entire argument is "Well I went to a /different universe's/ surface world, so I'm not in violation of that specific law, right?"

#he will probably only be in jail for at most a couple years and the penal system in his setting is very lax #and he will absolutely turn himself in most of the times for a lighter sentence / making sure his partner is taken care of #and the entire time after he's like 'let me show you my engagement ring' and shows off his ankle bracelet #but yeah at most 5-ish years in an ultra light security prison (the norwegian type where you can walk out at any time)#and then the same time frame on parole with an ankle bracelet that means he can't travel the universe #this pisses him off immensely but it's worth it to him!
